The time I was spending with Cici and her family was great. For the next couple of hours, I just helped them around their house, moving and helping Warren try to fix to their home, but the results were less than stellar. Either way, I had a good time, and I even went out hunting with Warren to help him hunt something for dinner. Just a couple deer like creatures that the Framework had the listed as Escala, a D ranked herbivore.
I was currently helping him cut up the meat while Anya and Cici began to prep and cook dinner with what we had done. There was enough meat here that everyone would be able to eat for at least a couple of days, perhaps even longer. My Abyssal blades were cutting through the flesh and bone line it didn't even exist, and it currently was pretty cool and comical that I had my ridiculous power manifested in the shape of a meat cleaver. Warren just watched in facination.
"Where can I get one of those?" He asked, his eyebrows to his hairline.
"It's a skill of mine. I can make whatever I want." I said, shaping a sword, then a dagger, and then a giant hammer as as he was, and just mounted it on my shoulder, "It's pretty nifty, and definitely useful."
He just nodded, his eyes wide.
"I-Indeed it is. " He stammered as we went back to cutting.
We handed it off, and I helped them by helping cut the meat into fine strips. Cici and her mother smiled at me as I began to help prepare plates and the sides, bringing them to the table that I had helped Warren build only an hour ago or so. There was still the issue of not having enough places to sit, as Warren and I only had partially managed one chair. I blame myself for that, as he been busy just showing me how do it in the first place. He was a good instructor, that's for sure.
As I brought a bowl of a strange yet good looking salad to the table, I looked around at the lack of seats one again, and frowned. Then, I had an idea.
"Surely I can shape more than just weapons." I said, and focused.
Just then, 5 dark circles appeared around the table, and from them, 5 pitch black yet comfy looking dining chairs rose from the ground, shaping before my very eyes. Cici gasped from behind me.
"Woah! Eli... how can you... what?" She asked, very eloquently, and I just chuckled.
"It's a skill. I'll explain in more detail here soon." I said, thinking about what Anya said earlier before we began to prep for dinner.
"I want to know more about you, and what you can do. You said you are from the other world, yet you are very strong. The strongest person I've felt in my whole life. That's my only request from you to marry my daughter. And even then, I can see how much you care about her, so I know you'll treat her well. See it as.. a favor for your new mother." She had said, and with her earnest words, and her easy acceptance of me, there was zero chance of me saying no.
I was going to tell Cici anyways, but these people had quickly earned my care and trust, and I had no issues telling them as well. I would just tell them all at once.
"Okay... husband." She said with a smile, and her words made me pause, and a warmth unlike anything before it filled my chest.
"Don't we have to preform the ceremony first?" I asked, and her smile was cute, and a blush graced her cheeks.
"I know. We'll get to that, and of course, when we finish the ceremony..." Her gaze became damn near predatory just then, making me gulp, "We'll probably hold it soon, just not today. I just wanted to see how it sounded... I think it sounds perfect."
I grinned, and wide and happy thing that felt both right and unnatural on my face.
"I like it too, especially coming from you." I said, then added a low rumble to my tone, "How does it sound when I do it, my darling wife?"
Her breath caught, and her eyelashes fluttered unconsciously, her legs shakingly slightly as her eyes gained something I'd only seen in flashes, but now it on full display. Lust. She looked at me, a hunger mixed with love in her eyes made my sleeping penis twitch in my pants. I had to clear my throat. She smiled at me, her long canines gleaming.
"I love it. From you... it sounds perfect." She purred those words, and husky tone to it, and I had to shake out my collar a little bit.
Still, from what she was saying, I couldn't say I wasn't looking forward to it. I wanted to officially make her my mate, and now that I was fixed, so to speak, my libido had come back to me in full force. I wanted her, and soon, I would have her. But for now, spending time with her was just as good, because I truly wanted this woman in my life for as long as I lived.
"Everything else is ready and - oh my..." Anya said as she brought a stack of empty plates out to the table, then looked around at the chairs that I made from the Abyssal power at my disposal.
"I made us some chairs to use while we eat." I said as Anya walked over to one, and felt it, and her eyes widened in surprise.
"This feels amazing. Like the real thing, only better. What is this?" Anya asked.
Did I truly know? I mean, I really only knew as much as the Framework let me. I knew how to use all of my abilities on an instinctual level, as well as various fighting techniques, actually understanding what it truly was, I didn't know. I was some kind of God Primordial hybrid according to the my character information, but I didn't know anything else other than that.
"It's a skill. It's part of my class." I said, and Anya nodded at me, still marveling at the chair.
"Well, I was hoping to talk about that as a topic for dinner, which is finished. Care to help?" She asked me, and I smiled and nodded.
Cici, Anya, and I all brought the food to the table, with Warren doing as much work as possible on the house until everything was set. Hiago had actually laid people's plates and cutlery out for them, and I just grinned at this family's cohesive nature with each other. It truly felt like not just a loving family, but like everyone was part of a team.
We all sat down, with Warren and Anya at the head of the table, with Cici and I to one side, and Hiago on another. Every single one of us was famished, so we all began to pile food onto our plates. The meal was simple, as most of the food got burned along with a good amount of the village, but there was enough things for the salad I mentioned, as well as these little steamed bread rolls,. Add in the game we hunted, and we had a damn good meal in my opinion. I hadn't eaten a thing since we got here.
We all stuffed our faces in a very companionable silence for at least 5 minutes, and I felt my body calming and being soothed by the food I was consuming. Goddamn, I was starving all right.
It was a little while later, when Anya was wiping her face with a cloth, that she finally broke our silence.
"Sorry about that... but I needed that." She said, then she turned to me, "Are you still willing to share more of yourself with us?"
I nodded.
"Of course. You've given me the best thing I could have asked for." I said, smiling at Cici, who put her hand on my leg, "I'd be happy to... although, I'm honestly not sure if you'll believe me if I tell you."
Anya laughed softly.
"Well, Eli, you see, the Framework can't lie. If you share your windows with us, we will know you are being truthful with us. There will be no doubts, then." She said, and I blinked, anware I could do that.
I had heard it being done in many different books I've read, and things I've watched, but to be able to do it here was very... video gamey. I brought up all of my status screens, including my 3 main stats, my attribute stats, and my skill list.
"Okay, so... how do I do this?" I asked, and Cici smiled at me this time.
"Just focus your intent of showing it to those around you, dearest. The framework should take care of the rest." She said, my chest warming at what she called me.
"Okay... I'll try." I muttered, and then did as she said.
My stats, my info, my skills, the whole shebang, appeared right before my eyes, as they always did when I wanted them too. However, this time, I imagined sending copies of these same windows to those around me, and when I saw their eyes begin to focus in on that nothing of something that was the Framework windows, I almost squealed for joy.
"Well done, deare-" Cici began but then froze, the cup in her hand falling to the table to audible clatter, and a sharp intake of breath.
Warren was forking another piece of meat into his mouth, but soon he dropped it, and just stared at the windows in his face like he was looking at a ghost. Anya stared, her eyes bugging out as she scanned the windows back and forth in front of her. Her mouth opened, but nothing came out, as was true for everyone else. The only one who could speak, was the youngest amongst them.
"I knew you were strong, Mister Eli! Mom always told me that S was the strongest class, and you have 3. I guess that makes you the super strongest, huh?" Hiago asked, and I didn't quite know how to respond.
"Eli..." Cici said, her voice soft, barely above a whisper, and I turned to meet her eyes, "You... this... seems impossible..."
All I could do was shrug. It did yes, but it's just how I was here. I had no other frame of reference to base myself off of, I just went with what I had.
"Blighted ass... what kind of skill is this?? This is ridiculous!" Warren suddenly shouted, a mad laugh in his voice.
As I sat there, unsure of what to do or say, Anya's voice eventually found its way into the conversation.
"Elias... does anyone else know about this?" She asked, and I shook my head, and she breathed out slowly, "Okay... we need to try to figure this out... because this is unheard of."
