Chapter 288 - Chapter 381 Seal State

'Here it comes; I have to praise him; this guy is also a master of communication; I haven't heard such a such a calm, composed, engaging, and descriptive speech before; I can't find any flaw in his words.'

Eero thought to himself, looking at Aizen, who successfully gave a motivational speech and then unsheathed his Zanpakuto in order to demonstrate the power and usage of reitsu.

Kyoka Suigetsu!

Instantly he activated the Shikai amidst the anticipated gazes of every student, then everyone saw the sword turned into mist and mirage appeared on the stage. These mirages showcase everything Aizen just said in his speech.

"Amazing," instantly students started clapping in excitement and looking at the Kyoka Suigetsu reappear in Aizen's hand with a more anticipated gaze; they couldn't wait to get their hands on such an amazing power.

Aizen sheathed his sword and then glanced at the excited expression on everyone's faces, including Eero.

'It seems no one missed my speech and performance,' he thought and then nodded satisfied, turned around, and walked toward the exit of the stage.

While other students were looking at the Aizen illusion on stage, Eero's eyes turned and he glanced at the direction of the stage exit.

Eero could see the real Aizen had already left the stage; the one on stage right now is just an illusion created by him.

'As expected, no illusion can affect my psychic talent; illusion can basically disrupt five senses, but psychic works on the sixth, seventh, and above senses: supervision, ESP, mind reading, telepathy, future vision, and many more spiritual abilities.'

Eero thought to himself, then his expression became playful.

He closed his psychic talent; instantly, the illusionary Aizen on stage became real in his senses and vision, as if he were truly standing there.

'It's getting more interesting than I thought,' Eero thought to himself. Then the orientation day ended, and freshmen reported to the classes they were assigned to respectfully.

...

Eero appeared in his classroom, looking at the instructor in dark haori, the symbolic uniform of the shinigami.

"Today is our first day; first we will introduce ourselves, and then we will overview everything you are going to learn in the duration of the next few years." The instructor spoke and then introduced himself and let students introduce themselves one by one.

Eero glanced at the unfamiliar classmates, introducing themselves one by one; even though Rukia and Renji aren't assigned to his class, he didn't care; he just introduced himself calmly.

Then the instructor started explaining the reitsu and four spiritual arts, Kido, Hakudo, Hoho, and Zanjutsu.

Eero already knew the four spiritual arts through the plotline; he even learned the Hoho (the spiritual steps) and Hakudo (the white hit) hand-to-hand combat technique on his own, remaining Kido (the spiritual spells) and Zanjutsu (the spiritual sword art). He figured them out, but he needs the directions for Kido Kido spells and a Zanpakuto for mastering Zanjutsu.

Soon the class was over.

Eero then returned to his dormitory room and stayed inside as a shut-in, without going out for the next few days. Just attended the class and then stayed in the academy room.

A month later,

Eero appeared in the open area in the academy courtyard upon receiving a summons letter from the academy. He will receive his seal state katana today as one of the top students in the academy.

Today is the day he waited for years; finally he will get a shinigami sword.

All these years, Eero tried to awaken the zanpakuto on his own, like Ichigo, but he couldn't find the direction.

Today, after getting the seal sword, he is sure to awaken a zanpakuto that truly belongs to him naturally.

Soon everyone was brought into a dark room with a lot of sealed state zanpakutos; all of these sealed states looked the same as normal katanas.

"Don't be anxious; the sealed state of all zanpakuto looks the same; their shikai and bankai forms depend on their wielders will and souls." The instructor spoke calmly,

Eero walked inside the room, glanced around calmly, and then picked up a seal state and returned outside. Other students walked inside and returned with their seal states one by one.

"Next, keep the seal state near you, sense its presence, and establish the spiritual connection with it; then the zanpakuto will show its true form." The instructor then spoke solemnly, looking at everyone,

Eero and other selected students nodded, and then everyone left in order to familiarize themselves with the sealed state in their hands.

Eero also returned to his dormitory room, sat cross-legged on the bed, put the sword on his lap, closed his eyes, and started guiding the reiatsu toward the sword.

After a while, instantly Eero opened his eyes. He appeared in an unknown place. He glanced around, seeing silver ground below his feet and a golden sky above his head. There is no end to such an atmosphere in his sight, as if it were spanning an unknown distance, a desolate, grand inner world.

The next moment Eero appeared in the middle of this space, looking at a long pillar that is half silver from below and the other half golden from above; it looks like it is separating the sky from the ground.

"Is it calling me?" Eero muttered and felt a throbbing from his soul, as if the pillar were calling him, a deep, resonating pulse. He walked beside it and raised his hand in order to touch it.

Instantly, Eero felt a strange, cold and suffocating feeling in his hand, like touching an alien substance. Slowly gray color spread from the place he just touched, a creeping blight. Then it spread on the whole pillar, an ugly stain on the perfect balance, and then the sky and ground also grayed; everything became gray in a glimpse, completely muted and silent. The pillar then shone with an immense, destructive light; it burst into gray ashes, and along with it, the sky and earth crumbled into dust. A profound, aching silence replaced the grand atmosphere. In just a few moments, everything was destroyed, leaving nothing behind.
