Chapter 35 - Chapter 30: Pirates of the Drama Island

"Yaaaaarrgh! Last time on Total Drama Action!" Chris began the recap of the episode standing on the dock of the film lot while sporting quite the familiar look. The host was once again dawning his pirate costume from the treasure hunt challenge in season one, although this time he had a little addition. Edward was sitting on the host's shoulder wearing an eyepatch and a red bandana on his head. "Our final four ladies were taken on a trip to the majestic Chinese woods to practice their martial arts skills! There was blood, sweat, tears, fruit juice and hot coals! Our competitors endured it all in order to claim the title of martial arts master! But in the end, it came down to Dawn and Ronnie Anne battling it out in the bamboo forest. Ronnie Anne was intent on crushing Dawn into the dirt, but our favorite hippy pulled out a trump card, or you could say a lack of a certain card, to throw Ronnie Anne off her game and throw her down into the pit of defeat! At our last Gilded Chris Awards Dawn was given the single vote on who to send down the path of dishonor, and much to everyone's relief Ronnie Anne was finally given her long overdue ride in the lameosine!"

Chris grinned as he walked to the side, revealing the final three contestants standing on the dock as well waiting for the second to last challenge to finally start. "With three contestants left, it's now a non-stop race to the million dollars!" Chris began hyping things up as he looked right at the camera. "If they want a chance at getting that marvelous booty, then they gotta give it nothing less than their all or they will be left behind! Who will win? And who is destined to spend an eternity of loserdom in Davy Jones locker? Find out right now on the first part of the dramatic conclusion of Total. Drama. Action!"

After the recap, and the usual commercial break that followed, we once again panned to Chris and Edward in their pirate gear standing alongside Dawn, Bridgette, and Lindsay. All the ladies have been feeling rather good lately. The day after the Martial Arts challenge they all basically threw a celebration for finally getting rid of the Hispanic terror and ensuring she wouldn't win the million dollars. They were all given two days to rest before the final day of the competition began and now they were all prepared to win it all and claim the one million dollars for themselves

"And here we have the first part of the dramatic conclusion of Total Drama Action!" Chris began hyping the ladies up as he stepped in front of them. "It's been a long 42 days filled with 23 different movie genres! You ladies have endured some pretty crazy stuff both physically and emotionally, and now by the time the sun sets today, one of you will be taking home. One. Million. Dollars!"

"Whoooooo!" Lindsay cheered as she jumped up and down while clapping, getting amused looks from her fellow two blonds.

"Now then, before we get things started you three can go share your thoughts about the season in the confessional." Chris explained, repeating what the show did during last season's final three challengers. "Let everyone know what your journey through Total Drama Action has been like for you,"

CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay

"This season has been so much fun!" Lindsay couldn't help but smile as she thought back on everything she's done this season. "I mean don't get me wrong it definitely hasn't been perfect, like when Owen broke his jaw, or everything that went on between Geoff and Bridgette, but I can definitely say the good outweighed the bad!"

CONFESSIONAL – Dawn

"This season has really been quite the interesting journey," Dawn had to think about it a little bit before deciding on her words for how to describe her time on Total Drama Action. "On one hand I shared many great memories with Lincoln and my friends during the course of the season. On the other hand there were definitely lots of things that I wished didn't happen…"

CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette

"This season…it's been hard, but I suppose that's pretty obvious," Bridgette couldn't help but frown a little as she thought back on the season. She remembered being in really high hopes for it when she first arrived on the film lot on that broken down bus with Geoff. Hard to believe just how much things ended up spiraling downward. "But I made it to the final three, I can at least be proud of that,"

CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay

"The movie themes were so much fun!" Lindsay clapped a little as she could safely say she definitely preferred the challenges this season to the last season. Especially since she was no longer doing Heather's bidding for every challenge and was able to do things her own. "Like the fantasy movie challenge, the space movie challenge, the cowboy challenge, I really can't pick a favorite."

CONFESSIONAL – Dawn

"I've definitely done some things I'm not proud of…" Dawn frowned as she remembered some of the less than desirable things she's done over the course of the season. Things she never thought she was actually capable of doing beforehand. Sure she had her fair share of angered moments during season one, but she never actually did anything too bad. "Like when I lost control of myself and beat up Ronnie Anne in the sports challenge…I thought I was better than resorting to such violence…"

CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette

"The million would be nice but honestly after everything, I'm just eager to wrap this season up and go home. I'm just completely exhausted with everything now…" Bridgette sighed out as she rubbed her eyes, the surfer girl feeling drained physically, emotionally, and mentally. But still, she had to push through it. Just because she was tired doesn't mean she was giving up. "But at least no matter what I can be happy about who wins, I mean Dawn and Lindsay deserve to win as well."

CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay

"But honestly, most of all I'm just proud of everything I've done during the season," Lindsay spoke up with a sincere smile as the blond bombshell reminisced on just how much she's grown during the season. She was no longer just some dumb-blond or someone's lackey doing all their work. She was a strong independent woman! "I may not be the smartest person in the world, but I've gotten this far on my own through my own hard work! All I have to do is keep it up and I'll be leaving this film lot with one million dollars! Woohoo!"

CONFESSIONAL – Dawn

"But in the end, maybe it helped me realize that I still have many faults to work on." Dawn managed to smile as she found a bright side as she looked back on her less than desirable moments. Sure she still regretted them, but they did help open her eyes a little bit. "I don't want something like that to happen again, and during my last fight with Ronnie Anne I managed to stay in control. I know I still have more to work on though, and I intend to do just that. But for now, I just need to focus on doing my best to win and getting the million dollars for me and Lincoln to split."

CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette

"Don't get me wrong though, I'm still gonna try my best to win the million dollars myself. I got my own plans for it, like fulfilling something I've dreamed about ever since I was a kid," Bridgette smiled as she fantasized a bit about what she would do if she were to win the money. But that didn't last long as she soon frowned a bit in worry. "I just hope trying to win it doesn't tear any of us apart…I think we've had enough of that this season…"

"Now then, the genre of the first part of our finale should be obvious based on me and Edward's sweet threads here," Chris stated as he gestured to his clothes while Edward raised his head up in pride. "The first genre is…Space Zombie Movies!"

"…" Chris was only met with silence in response as Dawn, Lindsay, and Bridgette deadpanned at him.

"Just messing with ya, it's the pirate movie genre!" Chris laughed as he properly explained the genre to the final three. "Ah, the good old fashioned pirate movie. Living life on the high seas, sailing from island to island in search of sweet, sweet treasure! All the while fighting off law abiding sailors as well as other pirates that are looking to steal all your hard earned booty! And today you'll all be sailing the great fresh water sea in front of you in order to head to where your million-dollar treasure awaits!"

"Did you say sailing?" Bridgette asked as she blinked her eyes a few times in surprise. "With what?"

"With these of course!" Chris grinned widely as he snapped his fingers. Suddenly the sound of a motorboat was heard and everyone looked towards the lake in front of them…and found their jaws dropping at the sight. Chef was approaching the dock in the rather nostalgic looking boat of losers. But it wasn't that, that made their jaws drop. It was what Chef was towing with the boat. Tied to the much smaller boat and appearing into view…were three large pirate ships. They were mostly identical except one ship had blue highlights over it along with a flag with Bridgette's face, another one had purple highlights over it along with a flag with Dawn's face, and the last one had red highlights over it along with a flag with Lindsay's face on it. "Pretty sweet huh? Season did HUGE so we got an extra big budget for the ending here~"

"We get to sail those?!" Lindsay asked with an excited tone in her voice.

"You sure do pirate captains!" Chris answered, addressing all girls and how each of them would be getting their own pirate ship for the challenge ahead of them. "You'll need them to sail to where the million dollars awaits! These maps will show you where to go!"

Chris then reached into his bag and pulled out three rolled up treasure maps and tossed them to each of the girls. All of them immediately opened them up and looked over them a bit with Dawn humming in thought as she looked over the island with the X that the map had. "That island there looks familiar…" The aura reader muttered out loud.

"As it should be Dawn! Because that is none other than your old stomping grounds, Total. Drama. Island!" Chris announced getting gasped from all three ladies. Looks like the season will be ending at the place it all began. "I never said the million dollars left the island hehe~ After we…retrieved it from the shark that ate it, we decided to leave it back on the island where it would be nice and safe. And now it'll be up to you pirates to sail there for your chance to grab it!"

"And what's the catch here with this challenge?" Lindsay asked with a raised brow, knowing there would be some sort of twist.

"Oh nothing much. Basically you'll all have different starting points. Dawn you'll start at the west most part of the lot, Bridgette you'll start in the middle, and Lindsay the east most part." Chris explained, things sounding pretty simple so far. "Your goal is to sail all the way to Total Drama Island, specifically the dock of shame. First two pirate captains there will be able to move onto the second part of the grand finale and our last movie genre. Meanwhile third place will have to hang up their captain's hat and bid their chances at a million dollars goodbye."

This news made the three girls gasp as they looked over each other with worried looks.

CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay

"So it's basically do or die huh?" Lindsay said, knowing the full weight of the situation as she put on a determined look. "Well no matter what happens, I won't be going down without a fight!"

"But of course…what's a Pirate Captain without their loyal crew?" Chris said as the sound of an engine was heard approaching them. Driving inside of the film lot was a bus, one that looked much nicer than the ones they came to on the lot at the beginning of the season. "I think it's time for a little reunion!"

The bus then stopped in front of the dock with the doors opening up, and coming out was all the past contestants. Not just the ones that competed during Action, but also the competitors that were sidelined for the season. Dawn, Bridgette, and Lindsay smiled as they saw all their old friends step out of the bus, and decided to ignore the less than desirable ones like Heather and Justin. "Oh wow!" Lindsay let out as everyone came pouring out of the bus. "It's so nice to see all of you!"

"Nice to see you too babe!" Tyler yelled out towards Lindsay, waving to his girlfriend and giving her a proud look. "Good job at making it to the final three Lindsay!"

As Lindsay blushed and smiled at her boyfriend's words, coming out of the bus was Geoff who clearly looked rather uncomfortable. But him and Bridgette's eyes eventually met causing Geoff to flinch violently. Geoff tried to smile and wave at Bridgette, but his ex merely gave him the stink eye before turning away from him. "Aw man…" Geoff grumbled sadly as he looked down before deciding to just stay in the back of the crowd.

"Hey guys!" A familiar high pitched voice yelled out as Lily stepped out of the bus excitedly and ran up to the three blonds. "I'm here too!"

That managed to get Bridgette to smile again as she knelt down and hugged Lily as the 6-year-old approached her. "Hehe, it's good to see you too Lily," The surfer girl told the youngest Loud before separating from her. "Glad you could be here,"

"Aaaaawww, I missed you so much!" Lindsay gushed as she picked up Lily and nuzzled her cheek against Lily's, making the littlest Loud giggle a bit. "This place wasn't nearly as adorable without you around."

"Heheh, it's a delight for you to be here again Lily." Dawn told Lily before taking her from Lindsay so Dawn would have the chance to hug her. After putting the 6-year-old down Dawn looked towards the crowd again and instantly spotted Lincoln, with the white head blowing her a kiss making Dawn blush and giggle. But Dawn's attention was soon brought to the bus as the last person exited it. "Is that…"

The last one to leave the bus was none other than Ronnie Anne…but her aura was totally different now. Physically she was more or less the same just looking completely drained and now had her hood up to try and hide her face. But her aura was no longer the pure rage-fueled red that Dawn was used to seeing from her, but it was now a completely dull grey that lacked any sort of energy at all.

CONFESSIONAL – Dawn

"Guess getting eliminated really affected her, and her call from her mother during the Aftermath certainly had an emotional impact as well," Dawn said, explaining why Ronnie Anne's mood and aura now had taken a complete and sudden shift. "Don't get the wrong idea, I don't feel bad for her and she reaped everything she sowed. But I guess I can't help but pity her a tiny bit,"

"Hey guys! It's so good to see you! Congrats on making it to the final three!" Owen approached the three finalists, giving them each a bone crushing hug before opening his mouth up wide. "And look! I finally got my jaw unwired!"

"Oh that's great to hear Owen!" Lindsay smiled brightly as Owen showed up his now fully intact and healed jaw to them. "I'm really happy for you!"

"So Chris," Courtney spoke up as she approached the host. "You said we would be helping them out with the last two challenges?"

"All in due time Courtney, but first…" Chris began as he snapped his fingers. Chef then reappeared, pushing a rather long cart towards everyone that was covered by a very big sheet. "You can't go pirating on an empty stomach!"

"Um, Chef's food without DJ's touch?" Duncan questioned as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms, missing Chef removing the sheet from the long cart. "Yeah, I think I speak for everyone when I say we'll pass."

"Duncan…" Mike spoke up with a tone of amazement. "You might wanna take that back…"

The delinquent opened his eyes and gasped as the entire cart's worth of food was revealed to him with Duncan gasping and joining everyone in having dropped jaws. The cart was filled with foods of all kinds. Platters filled with pancakes, bacon, eggs, hash browns, sausages, fruit and veggies, pitchers of juice, and much, much more. And it looked absolutely divine! "Hold on!" Heather spoke up as she approached the food and took a sniff, humming in delight at how delicious it smelled. "Chef…is this…food?!"

"Fresh fruit to ward off scurvy," Chef explained as he gestured to the various things he prepared for the pre-challenge feast. "And hot flapjacks to ward off lice…or…whatever? All prepared to my highest personal standards!"

"OMG!" Lindsay squealed excitedly as she rushed to the cart and immediately dug into some of the food prepared. "Chef…this is amazing!"

CONFESSIONAL – Gwen

"Chef in a good mood?" The goth questions with a raised brow. "I guess miracles can happen, heh."

CONFESSIONAL – Owen

"Having my jaw unwired is the best!" Owen grinned excitedly before bringing up a fork that had multiple pancakes on it. With one bite, Owen stuffed them all into his mouth and happily began chewing them up. "Mmmmmm! Pancakes!"

And so all the teenagers were given some time to chow down on the absolutely delicious spread Chef laid out while catching up. It was a nice bit of downtime before the ultimate race for the one million dollars started. All the while Chef and Chris watched the contestants enjoy the feast from a bit back with Chris grinning in amusement. "I see what you did there," Chris giggled as he thought about the trap Chef most likely laid in the food. "All the foods are laced with laxatives right? Nice!"

"Nope, nothing laced in at all. Nothing but grade A quality cookin'!" Chef explained making Chris raise a brow. Nothing laced in the food at all? Then what was the deal with all the amazing looking food? "Just going out in style!"

"Going out?" Chris repeated with a tone of confusion. At this point Edward thought it might be a good idea to bail as he jumped off Chris' shoulder and waddled over to Lincoln for a reunion. "What are you talking about?"

"That's the last meal I'm ever serving on this 2-Bit show!" Chef said directly to Chris' face as he crossed his arms and smiled smugly a bit. "I got me a gig serving on a swanky cruise ship! So you can kiss my behind goodbye!"

CONFESSIONAL – Chef

"That time spent with DJ got me thinking, maybe it's time for me to go a different direction," Chef explained his reasoning for wanting to leave the show now. With the finale approaching Chef thought it might be a good idea to find something else and managed to score a job as a chef on quite the luxurious cruise. "Step out on my own without this show."

"Yeah, yeah, and I got a job hosting the Oscars," Chris chuckled, the host obviously not taking Chef's words seriously making the buff cook begin glaring at Chris. "Very funny,"

"I don't see anyone laughing," Chef said with a growl.

"Look man, you can enjoy your fantasies all you want but do it on your time, not my own. I got a show to host, k?" Chris told Chef rather dismissively before walking away towards all the other contestants, not noticing Chef growling in anger towards him. As if Chef was leaving the show, Total Drama was a big part of Chef's life now since Chris recruited him. No way he'd just up and leave like that. So deciding to get back on track, Chris cleared his throat and got everyone's attention. "Alright contestants, you've had your snack time and now it's challenge time! As we explained to our final three here, they'll be sailing all the way back to Total Drama Island and the first two back will be contenders for the million dollars!"

At this, nearly everyone began cheering for the last three with the obvious exceptions being Heather, Justin, and Ronnie Anne with the former two just looking bitter that they weren't in the running and the latter just doing their best to look invisible. "And some of you will be helping with that!" Chris continued once all the cheering began dying down. "What's a pirate without their crew after all? Crews will consist of the captain and five of you losers! And you'll continue to help them through the last challenge as well should your captain be one of the lucky two to move on."

"So we're picking our crew mates out of everyone here then?" Bridgette asked before narrowing her eyes at Chris as she easily saw where this was going. "What's the twist?"

"The twist is that who will be on your crew will be randomized!" Chris announced getting groans from the final three. Of course it would be randomized, it was always randomized. As they received the news, Chef came in carrying a crate filled with bottles with cork lids and pieces of paper inside of them as well as three fishing poles. But as Chef brought it in, the buff cook was giving Chris quite the nasty glare. "Each of these bottles contains the name of one of the past contestants, and you'll be using these fishing rods to reel them in after we toss em out to sea. Just watch out for duds,"

"What kind of duds?" Lindsay asked as she, Bridgette, and Dawn were handed fishing poles.

"Ya know, Heather, Justin, Ronnie Anne, and Geoff," Chris listed who the four more undesirable potential teammates were with an amused grin on his face. "Those kinda duds!"

Geoff let out a sigh and lowered his head, Justin and Heathergrowl and glared in irritation, and for Ronnie Anne she tried to hide herself in her hoodie even more.

CONFESSIONAL – Ronnie Anne

"Jackass…" Ronnie Anne grumbled.

CONFESSIONAL – DJ

"I wonder what's up with Chef, he looks kinda ticked today," DJ scratched the back of his head, the brickhouse being the only one to notice that the buff cook looked to be in a rather sour mood all of a sudden. "Hope everything is ok,"

"But before you get to fishing, I'll give you all a bit of relief in that your teams won't be completely randomized," Chris explained, getting the three finalists to raise their brows in interest. "Since I'm such a nice guy, and I'm impressed you made it this far, you can all pick your first teammate to act as a first mate and then you'll have to fish for your remaining four crewmembers."

"Nice guy he says…" Chef grumbles angrily with crossed arms.

"Dawn, you won the last challenge so you'll get to pick first," Chris told the nature lover, giving her another little reward for her victory in the Martial Arts challenge. "Then Bridgette picks, and then Lindsay."

"I pick Lincoln!" Dawn immediately said with Lincoln grinning and walking to his girlfriend's side, more than happy to help her try and win a million dollars.

"Big surprise there…" Chris rolled his eyes before turning to Bridgette. "Bridgette, your first mate?"

"Hmmmm…" Bridgette hummed in thought as she looked over the group of 23 past contestants and silently debated over who she should choose.

CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette

"I gotta make this choice count, I only get one guaranteed pick for my team," Bridgette explained her reasoning for why she was so deep into thought about this decision. She was this close to the million dollars so every decision made now mattered more than ever. "I needed someone that's bound to give me some sort of edge."

"I pick…Jasmine," Bridgette ultimately decided on picking everyone's favorite Australian Amazon.

"Happy to be aboard captain," Jasmine saluted Bridgette as she happily walked to the surfer girl's side.

"Ooooo, going with the nuclear option, nice!" Chris complimented Bridgette on her choice. Definitely couldn't go wrong with choosing someone like Jasmine to be on your team. "Lindsay, your choice?"

"Hmmm…" Now it was Lindsay's turn to look everyone over and of course the first two options were either Beth or Tyler. Both smiled eagerly as Lindsay eyed both of them with Tyler puffing his chest out…and Lindsay giving him an unsure face. "Uuum…"

CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay

"I love Tyler! I really do! But I need to choose the best option for helping me run a ship and winning the million," Lindsay explained her hesitance in picking her boyfriend. "And do I really want Tyler operating a cannon…"

"I pick Beth!" Lindsay made the ultimate choice to pick her BFF.

"Yes!" Beth cheered as she ran up to Lindsay with Tyler slumping down a bit.

"Alright then! You've all made your choices," Chris began as the bottles containing Lincoln, Jasmine, and Beth's names came out of the crate. With the crate now containing 21 different bottles, Chef threw them all out to the lake with the bottles now floating and waiting to be fished up. "Get to fishing ladies! And no turns, it's first come first serve and careful not to get your lines tangled."

Lindsay, Dawn, and Bridgette all nodded as they gripped their fishing poles tightly and walked to the edge of the dock before casting their lines out to try and hook a bottle. As the girls were all fishing, we turned back to Chris and Chef who were locked into another argument.

"You can't bail," Chris told Chef as the subject of Chef leaving the show was once again brought up with Chef turning away from Chris while crossing his arms. "We're a team!"

"I fly solo," Chef stated, staying firm on his decision on leaving the show. Not only did he feel like he needed to forge his own path, but Chris never showed him any form of respect! "I'm a maverick!"

"Dude without this job you'd still be serving street meat outside the bus station," Chris brought up where Chef was before the buff cook was brought along for Total Drama. But this only made Chef growl in irritation. "Besides, I don't know why you'd even wanna leave. Most of the time you just stand around doing nothing anyway while I do all the work!"

"N-N-Now you see that?! That attitude is why I'm outta here!" Chef snapped at Chris. He wasn't about to let this pretty boy claim he stands around doing nothing! If he wasn't here most of these challenges wouldn't even be possible! He just towed three entire pirate ships for crying out loud! "I've had it with you doing your bogus job and getting all the glory while I'm stuck with the grunt work!"

Chris gasped in offense at Chef's words before glaring at him. Chef did not seriously just say that! "Hosting is way harder than what you do!" Chris claimed as it was his turn to cross his arms at Chef. "Do you know how hard it is to constantly be entertaining towards the camera and smile at all times! Dude, do you even know how sore my cheekbones are!?"

"Oh I'm sorry," Chef said sarcastically while rolling his eyes. "I couldn't hear you over my muscles aching from all the heavy stuff I have to lug around along with cooking food three times a day for this group!"

Meanwhile as they argued, the cast who hadn't been chosen and were simply waiting for the final three to fish up bottles were stuck watching this with a few having amused grins. "It's like watching a divorced couple go at it…" Katie was the first one to speak up about it.

"I know, it's great isn't it?" Izzy grinned as she took out some popcorn to enjoy while watching the little show in front of them.

"I got one!" And cutting off the argument was Dawn who grinned as she reeled in a bottle after having her fishing lines hook pierce through a cork of it. "I got a bottle!"

"If you excuse me, I need to get back to my actually difficult hosting job!" Chris told Chef with a glare, getting one back at the buff cook as he glared at Chris as the host walked towards Dawn after putting on his signature grin again. "And Dawn is the first one to grab a bottle! Let's see who your next crew mate is!"

After a second, Dawn reeled her bottle up to the dock and unhooked it from her pole. Popping off the cork, Dawn emptied it and read the name that the message inside contained. "Noah!" Dawn listed off everyone's favorite sarcastic brainiac.

"Noah, you heard the lady!" Chris addressed said ex-contestant. "Come over and join her crew."

"Great…" Noah let out as he walked up to stand next to Lincoln. "And here I was hoping to avoid humiliation this season,"

"You think we'd let you off that easily?" Chris told Noah with a grin before Lindsay called out claiming that she also got a bottle. "And Lindsay, who is your next crew mate?"

After retrieving the bottle, Lindsay eagerly opened it up to see who would be the next person on her team. "DJ! Yay!"

"Happy to help out," DJ smiled as he stepped up next to Beth, the brickhouse more than happy to lend his services.

"I got one too!" Bridgette grinned as she fished up a bottle and immediately checked to see what name was written down in the message inside. "Looks like I got…Cody,"

"Aw yeah!" Cody cheered as he strutted up to Bridgette, trying to maintain a 'cool guy' look as he grinned. "Get ready, because the Code-Meister is here to help you win!"

CONFESSIONAL – Duncan

"Goodnight Bridgette," Duncan let out as he facepalmed.

Overtime Dawn, Lindsay and Bridgette began fishing up more bottles and added more members to their crew. After about 20 minutes Dawn had her entire crew consisting of Lincoln, Noah, Ezekiel, Tyler, and Courtney. Lindsay also had her entire crew consisting of Beth, DJ, Leshawna, Harold, and Sadie. The only one who still needed to fish was Bridgette who's crew so far consisted of Jasmine, Cody, Eva, and Duncan.

She just needed one more.

"I got it!" Luckily for Bridgette that wouldn't be much longer as she finally managed to hook her last bottle and reeled it in. After retrieving it and reading the name inside…Bridgette froze as her eye immediately began twitching.

"Who'd you get?" Chris asked as he peaked at the paper and couldn't stop himself from laughing at the odds of this happening. "Oh…Oh man, hahaha, now that's just bad luck! Geoff, guess what?"

"O-Oh…" It didn't take a genius to figure out what Chris meant when he called the party dude out. Geoff figured out that he was the last member of Bridgette's crew…and he could tell that Bridgette wasn't happy about this. Especially as she crumbled up the message and turned to glare at him as he slowly approached his ex-girlfriend. "H-Happy to be a-aboard cap-"

"Just shut up, and follow my orders," Bridgette immediately told him. She didn't need to deal with any sort of…bull crap right now. As long as Geoff didn't cause any problems and helped her with the challenge then she'd tolerate this whole arrangement for now.

"…Yes ma'am…" Geoff gulped and nodded his head.

CONFESSIONAL – Geoff

"This bites…" Geoff sadly muttered. He just hated seeing Bridgette mad at him but knew she was totally valid in feeling that way.

"With all your crews assembled, you're all ready to head out to sea! Almost!" Chris then brought up one more thing before they would all board their ships and officially start the challenge. "You can't be pirates unless you also look the part! So over here we have-" Chris cut himself off however as he gestured to a spot where a crate filled with pirate gear was…only to see it was missing. "Where'd all the pirate stuff go?"

"Hey guys look!" that question was soon answered as everyone looked to the side and saw none other than Owen had dragged the crate to the side and was now wearing a blue bandana around his head, a red and white striped shirt, and had two peg legs over his feet with Mr. Coconut on his shoulder like a parrot. "I'm Peg Leg the Pirate!" But after a few steps with his peg legs Owen fell to the ground. "Ow! Landed on my keys!"

"Dang it Owen, take all that off!" Chris ordered the big guy to do so with Owen quickly taking off the stuff and putting them back in the crate with Chris now actually gesturing to it this time. "Inside you'll find plenty of pirate outfits and prop pirate gear, suit up and then get ready to sail out!"

About ten minutes later, both Dawn and Bridgette and their crew were decked out in pirate costumes with Dawn sporting a purple pirate captain outfit and Bridgette wearing a blue one and the rest of their crews wearing typical pirate clothes along with various accessories like jewelry, eye patches, the occasional peg leg, and most wielding either a prop sword, a flint lock gun with rubber bullets, or both."

"Nice! Looking like real swashbucklers right now!" Chris complimented everyone after seeing all their pirate outfits, but raised a brow when he saw that one team was missing. "Where's Lindsay and her crew?"

"We're right here!" Walking towards the scene was Lindsay and her crew, but none of them were decked out in pirate gear. Instead when it was time to dress up, Lindsay took them to where she knew the set kept all sorts of costumes. She and her crew chose a different theme dress up as. Lindsay was wearing an admiral's outfit complete with the dark blue jacket and hat and her crew were wearing traditional white and blue sailor outfits. "Admiral Lindsay her hotness has arrived!"

The sound of Heather face palming was heard as Chris looked over Lindsay and her crew in their sailor attire. "It is supposed to be a pirate themed challenge but…what the heck, I'll allow it." Chris shrugged and smiled, allowing Lindsay to have her fun with her admiral persona. It was the second to last episode anyway. "Alright pirates, and sailors! To your ships!"

And so everyone headed off to their respective ship and where they have been placed by Chef during their time both fishing up bottles as well as getting dressed. Soon enough all three finalists and their crews were ready to set sail as Chris stood next to Chef and pulled out a radio that broadcasts his voice throughout the film set. "All pirate captains ready?!" Chris began as all the captains on each boat gripped the helms of their ship while their crew got ready to raise anchor. "On your marks, get set…sail!"

And like that, all three pirate ships took off. The anchors of all were raised and the ships began their maiden voyage to Total Drama Island. Only the first two to arrive will have a shot at winning the million dollar prize. But as they set off, Chris couldn't help but give Chef a smug look. "See, that's how you do an actually hard job!" Chris spoke up, getting a growl out of Chef who wasn't about to take that lying down.

"Are you kidding me?! Did you not just see me put those three ships into place?!" Chef yelled out, continuing to insist that his job was much harder than everything Chris has ever done at the show. "All you did was say some fancy words to the camera?!"

"Are you kidding me?! Have you even read a queue card?!" Chris met Chef's glare as their argument for who had the harder job reignited. As they continued to argue, Chris had enough and decided to make things a little more interesting and prove once and for all that his job was much harder than Chef's. "Alright buddy tell ya what, let's make things more interesting here!"

"I'm listening!" Chef yelled out as he narrowed his eyes at Chris.

"You think hosting is so easy, ok then. Why not give it a shot?" Chris suggested with a smirk on his face. Chef wanted to bad mouth his job so much, why not let the buff cook walk a mile in his shoes then? "How about YOU host the finale and see for yourself just how hard it is!"

"Hah, alright pretty boy you got a deal!" Chef smirked, immediately believing this would be a breeze to handle and he could prove once and for all just how easy Chris has it before finally taking off on his own. "And you can take care of all the grunt work and see how hard my job is compared to your do-nothing job!"

"Fine!" Chris yelled out.

"Fine!" Chef repeated.

"FINE!" Both yelled in unison as they got right in each other's face.

Meanwhile all the contestants that were left behind continued to watch this with Heather speaking up with an amused tone. "Anyone wanna start taking bets over who's gonna crash first?" And everyone immediately began pulling money out of their pockets and were ready to start placing bets.

All besides Lily who looked at the two with a worried look.

CONFESSIONAL – Lily

"I'm really worried about uncle Chef and uncle Chris," Lily said with a frown, the six-year-old not wanting to see the two fighting like this. "They don't usually fight like this. Oh-no! What if they end up like Linky and Ronnie Anne?"

With all the ships sailing across the water, all of them were aimed towards one thing and that was being one of the first two to make it to Total Drama Island. The captains, or Admiral in Lindsay's case, were all at the wheel of their ships as they followed the maps they were given to the island, all the while their crews were helping work the ship as well as keeping a lookout for potential enemy ships closing in on them.

Currently on Dawn's ship Tyler was up in the crow's nest with a telescope acting as the look out for the ship, Courtney, Noah, and Ezekiel were working on the deck of the ship with Courtney looking over the cannons and cannonballs they had to make sure they didn't have any faulty ones, and Lincoln was of course standing next to the captain as she steered the ship.

As Dawn was busy steering the ship Lincoln couldn't help looking over his girlfriend with a grin and a blush. He was really happy that he could be here right now. Both in order to help his girlfriend win the million-dollar grand prize and because…well Dawn just looked drop dead gorgeous in the vibrant purple pirates captain's outfit. From coat hanging low, her hair blowing in the freshwater wind, the shiny boots, and the overall outfit just hugging her body in all the right places.

Dammit she really just looks good in everything she wears doesn't she?

"I know you're staring~" And Lincoln froze up and let out a little 'eep' as Dawn spoke up and glanced towards him with a flirty look. Dawn knew the whole time her boyfriend was eyeing her up and she didn't do anything against it, she loved it when he was enjoying what he was seeing. Just lit a fire within her and brought out her more…perverted side.

"S-Sorry," Lincoln sheepishly apologized as he looked away from Dawn, trying to be respectful.

"You know I don't mind~" Dawn reassured Lincoln as she fully turned to Lincoln and strutted towards him, swaying her hips around with every step causing Lincoln to go even more red. Gosh she really missed him, seeing him during the murder mansion mystery challenge just wasn't enough for her. She really missed being able to do this with him, she can't get enough of seeing him all red like that. "You know, do a good job today and I wouldn't mind wearing this for you again~"

"…You heard her, everyone get back to work!" Lincoln had even more motivation now as he yelled out to the crew with Dawn giggling in the background. "Double time! Let's move it pirates!"

"Oh great…" Courtney sighed out, half in amusement and half in slight annoyance. "The whole boat ride is gonna be like this isn't it?"

"Like you're one to talk," Noah spoke up to Courtney in his usual dry tone.

"Excuse me?" Courtney scoffed in offense towards Noah. "I keep things professional, thank you very much!"

"Riiiiight," Noah rolled his eyes, knowing that Courtney's words were nothing but bull. "So you and Duncan didn't make out a few times during commercial breaks?"

"…" Courtney was silent as her eyes slowly widened.

"You two did go into the janitor's closet a lot eh," Ezekiel pointed out…before being promptly pushed overboard by Courtney. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

SPLASH!

"Anything else you wanna say?" Courtney asked Noah in a threatening tone as she held her prop sword to his neck.

"…No, I know when to fold," Noah relented as he backed away from Courtney.

"PIRATE OVERBOARD BRO!" Tyler called out after seeing the whole thing from the crow's nest.

"Lincoln, go get Zeke back please," Dawn asked her boyfriend with Lincoln saluting before going off to rescue Ezekiel as Dawn addressed her crew. "As for the rest of you, I'm seeing nothing but idle hands, get to work or ye lot will walk the plank!"

"You got it bro!" Tyler sent Dawn a thumbs up before he began heading down towards the deck again. "Load the cannons!"

"Let's go before Tyler kills himself doing that," Noah told Courtney with the CIT nodding in agreement.

"Hehehe, oh this is fun," Dawn couldn't help but giggle. Being a pirate captain certainly wasn't boring to say the least.

CONFESSIONAL – Tyler

"Yeah, I'm kinda bummed to not be on Lindsay's team." Tyler admitted while slumped down a bit. But the athlete soon picked himself back up and smiled at the camera. "But I get why she picked Beth, BFF's gotta stick together after all. And I'll give it my all to help Dawn win! I know Lindsay wouldn't want me to do anything less or help her win by being sneaky, my girl's better than that."

ADMIRAL LINDSAY HER HOTNESS' SHIP

Currently in the ship belonging to Admiral Lindsay, the blond bombshell was running a tight shift on her ship. She didn't expect her sailors to be anything less than the best after all! They were sailing for a great bounty of one million dollars! There wasn't a single second to waste when it came to lollygagging!

So she made sure to have everyone on a job best suited for them! Harold and Leshawna were working together to sail the ship with Harold knowing a few tricks from his time at Pirate Steve's Pirate Camp, DJ and Sadie were working the cannons and making sure they were all set up in case they were engaged in battle with another ship. And of course Beth was right by Lindsay's side as the Admiral stood at the front of the ship overlooking the lake they were sailing on.

"Admiral's log," And as they were sailing over the lake, Lindsay couldn't help but monologue a bit as she struck a heroic pose. "We've been sailing the high seas of lake Ontario for a good while now, we haven't spotted the Island of Drama yet but we've also yet to see any nefarious pirates as well but we're ready to fight them off if they show their dirty salty faces!"

"Admiral Lindsay Her Hotness, what are your orders?" Beth asked once she let her best friend have her monologue. "It's looking to be smooth sailing ahead, but should we take any precautions just in case?"

"We need to be ready in case any opposing ships attack!" Lindsay immediately told her crew as she looked back at them. "Harold, stay on the wheel, we'll need your sailing skills in case we need to evade cannon fire."

"Yes sir Admiral Lindsay!" Harold saluted, fitting into his given role perfectly well.

"Leshawna, adjust the sails as I see fit," Lindsay ordered Leshawna as she turned to her. "We need to stay with the wind, the faster we reach the island the better chance we have of being one of the first two there!"

"You got it baby!" Leshawna nodded before getting to work. "Prepare to go at turbo speed!"

"DJ, take the left of the ship, Sadie take the right," Lindsay gave orders for the two she pointed to take different parts of the ship. "You two ready the cannons in case we see any ships!"

"You got it Admiral Lindsay!" Sadie saluted before heading off to the right side of the ship.

DJ stuck to the left and looked out to the lake before flinching and raising his head. "Um, Captain Lindsay?" DJ called out only to get silence from Lindsay in response. Realizing his mistake, DJ sighed and rolled his eyes before speaking up again. "Admiral Lindsay,"

"Yes?" Lindsay addressed DJ when he referred to her properly.

"They're coming up behind us and fast!" DJ immediately called out, getting everyone on the ship to gasp.

Lindsay's eyes widened as she pulled out a telescope and looked through it in the direction DJ was pointing at. Sure enough, Lindsay spotted what looked to be Dawn's ship approaching them, but they were small and looked to be a great distance away. That's when Lindsay realized that she was holding the telescope the wrong way. "Whoops," Lindsay sheepishly said before turning it around and looking through it again…noticing that Dawn's ship was in fact really close and approaching them. "AH! AIM THE CANNONS!!!"

"Aim the cannons!" Sadie repeated as she rushed to her side and began to load up one of the cannons, the peppy girl grunting as she carried one of the cannon balls and loaded it into the cannon.

"FIRE!" Sadie yelled out as she lit up the fuse of the cannon before covering her ears. In a matter of seconds, the cannonball was blasted towards Dawn's ship with Dawn managing to steer her ship out of the way before turning it so their cannons were aiming at Lindsay's ship with Courtney at the ready and giving a rather…enthusiastic grin.

"Hah! You couldn't hit the broad side of a barn!" Courtney shouted out before lighting up not just one cannon, but multiple before aiming them all at Lindsay's ship. "Now let's see how you like this! FIRE!!!"

And with that battle cry, multiple cannonballs were shot out towards Lindsay's ship. "EVASIVE MANEUVERS!" Harold yelled out before showing off his mad pirating/sailor skills as he did his best to avoid the cannon balls. With so many of them coming at the ship at once it was impossible to dodge them all but Harold could minimize the damage as he turned the ship in a way that the cannonballs grazed the top deck of the ship, destroying some of the ship's railing but managing to avoid anything more severe than that. "Admiral Lindsay, what are your orders?"

"We can't risk them sinking us!" Lindsay immediately called out. Sure they could stay and fight but that held the risk of Dawn's team sinking their ship and essentially knocking them out of the competition. Lindsay's come too far to let something like that happen, so it was best to focus on just trying to shake them off. "We need to get away! Do whatever you need to help us get away safely!"

"Roger that!" Harold saluted Lindsay before changing the ship's direction and getting ready to make a strategic retreat. It may cost them a bit of a lead in the competition but better that than being sunk and out of the competition completely. Plus if they ride the winds well, they could make up for lost time. "Sadie, DJ, hold them off with our cannons! Leshawna Beth, work the sails! The more speed the better!"

"You got it ginger baby cakes!" Leshawna told her boyfriend before looking at Beth. "Come on side pony, you wanna sink or swim?!"

"Um, wouldn't both still mean the ship sinking?" Beth asked as she followed Leshawna regardless.

CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay

"I am so good at this admiral stuff!" Lindsay clapped her hands, proud of how well she's ordering around her crew and really getting them to play the part. "I'd become a sailor but…buzz cuts…" Lindsay winced as she held onto her hair protectively.

"Come on! Are you pirates or just a bunch of wimps!" Courtney yelled out as she loaded up another cannon with Noah, Tyler, and Ezekiel trying to help reload the cannons…key word being try as they all struggled to move the cannonballs, especially Noah. "Come on! Don't just be a bunch of soft sea cucumbers!"

"Believe me…" Noah gasped out as he slowly brought a cannonball into a cannon. "My sea cucumber…is the last thing I'm thinking about right now!"

"These cannon balls…weigh a ton!" Ezekiel breathed out, the home schooled boy also managing to load up another cannon.

"You guys gotta work out more!" Tyler told them with Courtney deadpanning at the athletic boy, who also struggled with moving the cannonballs. He did better than Noah and Ezekiel at least. "Now come on! Let's fire these bad boys!"

"Wait! Hold on!" Lincoln called out as he used a telescope to see what they were up to on Lindsay's ship. The white head flinched as he saw that DJ and Sadie had managed to load up their cannons faster than they could and immediately lit them. "Brace yourselves!"

"Everyone hold onto something!" Dawn yelled out before making a sudden change in direction as her crew held onto the nearest thing they could to avoid falling off the ship, again in Zeke's case, as Lindsay's cannons fired at them with Dawn managing to avoid the barrage before turning forward again as Lindsay's ship began sailing to the east. "It's time to retaliate! Fire the cannons!"

"You got it bro!" Tyler saluted his captain before he and Courtney lit the cannons and attempted to blast Lindsay's ship again. They managed to again graze Lindsay's ship with their cannon balls and caused only a little bit more damage to Lindsay's ship as they sailed away.

"They're retreating!" Courtney announced to the captain. "Should we follow them captain?"

"Negative Courtney, they're going in the wrong direction," Dawn could tell Lindsay was trying to avoid a fight and while sinking her ship would essentially guarantee the victory for both her and Bridgette at the same time it could backfire and cause them to be sunk instead. "Keep on course, if they wanna give us a lead then let them!"

"Yes captain!" Everyone said in unison.

CONFESSIONAL – Ezekiel

"It's pretty nice actually getting to participate in a challenge this season eh," Ezekiel said with a smile on his face. "Was feeling really left out ya know, with being the first out last time and not being in the competition at all this time."

BRIDGETTE'S SHIP

Currently on Bridgette's ship things are mostly calm. Over the course of their voyage so far they hadn't run into any sort of obstacles. No rocks sticking out of the water, no lake monsters, and no other pirate ships were in sight. It seemed like it would be nothing but smooth sailing towards the island.

And on the ship everyone was doing their duties with Bridgette steering the ship, Jasmine, Eva and Duncan manning the cannons in case they needed to start open firing on anything or anyone, and Cody was standing by Bridgette if she needed anything. And meanwhile all the way up on the crow's nest of the ship was Geoff who was slumped down and resting his head on his arms as he just stared out to the lake with a depressed look on his face.

CONFESSIONAL – Geoff

"I figured after…ya know…everything…Bridgette wouldn't really wanna be around me," Geoff sighed out as he explained why he was all on his own in the crow's nest. "So I offered to be the lookout but man it's just really bumming me out not being able to even be around her…"

"This bites…" Geoff groaned out before looking to the side and seeing a seagull land in the crow's nest above him. "Sup dude…"

And down below, Cody couldn't help but grin as he stood next to Bridgette as the brunette boy got a little idea in his head.

CONFESSIONAL – Cody

"Girls on the rebound are the best!" Cody grinned, planning on putting the moves on Bridgette since she was no longer in a relationship with Geoff. "You get to buy them a pop, and listen to their problems and, well, they still won't go out with you. But you get to buy them a pop!"

"Hey Bridge, ya know I gotta say you're looking really good in that pirate outfit," Cody complimented Bridgette as he stood next to her, trying to rizz her up with his signature 'Cody charm.' It didn't work on Gwen but hey Bridgette could be an entirely different story. "Real queen of the sea look ya know~"

"…" Bridgette was silent as she just decided to ignore Cody, but a sharp eye could see her grip on the helm tighten.

"So I was thinking maybe after all this ya know, we could hang out?" Cody suggested, continuing his attempts with flirting with the surfer girl. "I know this sweet place on the island where-" But Cody was cut off as Duncan, who was suddenly behind him, grabbed the geek by his collar and proceeded to chuck him off the ship. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

SPLASH!

"Whoops, Cody just went overboard," Duncan let out as he dusted his hand, looking rather satisfied with himself. "Someone better fish him up,"

"I got it," Jasmine yelled out as she got ready to get Cody out of the water.

CONFESSIONAL – Duncan

"Not cool geek," Duncan said with a glare, not a fan of the crap Cody was trying to pull one bit. "Not cool at all,"

Back in the crow's nest Geoff was continuing to mindlessly look around, at least doing his main job to try and do something right today. And it looked like that would soon pay off as he ended up spotting something coming towards them. "Oh no…" Geoff let out as he took out his telescope and looked through it to see that Dawn's ship was coming at them and coming in fast! "Dudes! Heads up! Enemy ship!"

Everyone heard Geoff and gasped at his words and looked in the direction the party dude was pointing at. Sure enough, Dawn's ship was approaching and approaching them fast. "Looks like we'll have a fight on our hands!" Jasmine said as she cracked her neck before looking towards Bridgette. "Orders captain?"

"…" Bridgette was silent as she thought about the possible options to take with this.

CONFESSIONAL – Bridgette

"I know it's a risky move but…Dawn's a really strong competitor," Bridgette voiced her reasoning for doing what she was about to do, though there was clear hesitation in her voice. "If I can knock her out of the competition now, I'll have an easier time winning the last challenge,"

"Everyone! Battle stations!" Bridgette yelled her orders out to everyone about what their next course of action was with Duncan, Eva, and Jasmine grinning in excitement. "Get close to them! We're going to board and show them how real pirates fight!"

"Now that's what I'm talking about," Eva grunted before cracking her knuckles, getting ready for a brawl. She was the only one who didn't take any sort of prop weapon, she was fine going in with just fisticuffs."

"They're aiming their cannons!" Geoff yelled out as he continued to look over Dawn's ship through his telescope.

"Brace yourselves!" Bridgette ordered everyone as she got ready to dodge the incoming cannon balls.

"Fire!" They heard Courtney yell out before the cannons on Dawn's ship fire at them.

"Oh no ya don't!" Jasmine yelled out with a determined glint in her eye as she stepped forward with her hands out. Instead of bracing herself like Bridgette ordered, Jasmine kept her eyes on one of the incoming cannonballs, let it come at her…and proceeded to catch it in her bare hands. Everyone's eyes widened in shock as they watched Jasmine grunt and get pushed back, but she managed to hold her ground and keep the cannonball in her hands before glaring forward. "Return…to…sender!"

And with the skill of an expert pitcher, Jasmine chucked the ball of iron back towards Dawn's ship with the force of a cannon and managed to knock down one of the cannons on Dawn's ship much to that crew's shock.

CONFESSIONAL – Duncan

"Ok, no way is she human!" Duncan let out in response to the absolutely insane feat Jasmine just pulled off.

CONFESSIONAL – Eva

"Tch, I could've done that," Eva claimed as she crossed her arms.

"Ok…I…can't say I was expecting that…" Courtney let out as she tried to process what she just saw. Sure Jasmine was certainly an athletic powerhouse…but she didn't realize she was THAT insanely strong! "Load up the cannons again!" But despite Courtney's orders, Ezekiel, Tyler, and Noah didn't seem to move much to her irritation. "I said load the cannons!"

"With what?" Noah asked as he brought up a bit of a situation they were in. "We're out of cannonballs!"

"What?!" Courtney yelled out in disbelief. They were already out of ammo?! "How?!"

"We used a bunch up earlier," Ezekiel pointed out their past encounter with Lindsay and how they used quite a few cannonballs then when they attempted to sink her. "We just used the last of em with this attack,"

"Crap, this is bad," Courtney put her hand to her head as she thought about what they could do without any cannonballs to fire at them. "What do we do now?"

"Simple!" Tyler wasn't about to let them lose like this and proceeded to jump inside one of the cannons himself much to his teammates' surprise. "Launch me bro!"

Noah and Courtney slowly looked at each other, wondering if Tyler was really serious about this as the former spoke up. "Um I don't think that's-" Noah tried to say but was cut off by Tyler.

"I said launch me bro!" Yep, it looks like he was really serious about this. Ezekiel shrugged before lighting the cannon Tyler was in and in just a few seconds, Tyler was blasted out and was soaring through the air. "EXTREEEEEEEEEE-"

SMACK!

Tyler was blasted right into the mast of Bridgette's ship…doing little damage to it and landed down on the deck of the enemy ship. "Uuuuugh…" He groaned out in pain as Duncan and Eva looked down on him.

"Did they just fire Tyler at us?" Duncan asked as he looked at Eva, the delinquent wearing an amused look on his face at what he just witnessed.

"I think so, yeah," Eva slowly nodded before picking Tyler up and yelling to the other ship. "We don't want this!"

"AAAAAAAAH!!!!" Tyler yelled as Eva threw him back to the ship he came from, the iron woman throwing Tyler all the way into the crow's nest of his team's ship. "Oooowww…"

"Everyone, get ready to board!" Bridgette yelled out to her crew as Cody adjusted the sails to slow them down so they could get next to Dawn's ship and begin raiding it. "Geoff, stay on board and get ready to fire the cannons on my command!"

"Yes captain!" Geoff saluted as he began making his way down to man the cannons, continuing to follow any orders Bridgette had.

Soon enough Bridgette's ship was right next to Dawn's ship with Jasmine, Eva, and Duncan reading some planks to set out to let them cross. "Oh boy…" Dawn let out before pulling out a fake sword with Lincoln having two in his hands. "Everyone prepare for battle!"

"Aye-Aye captain!" Ezekiel yelled out as he pulled out a sword.

"…" Meanwhile Noah was silent as he began stepping backwards to try and get out of the fighting.

CONFESSIONAL – Noah

"Don't you judge me," Noah said, trying to defend his reasoning for stepping out of the fight. "They have Duncan, Eva, and Jasmine on their crew. What am I supposed to do?"

"Captain Dawn!" Bridgette called out as she met the other captain's eyes, both captains having their crews standing behind them. The planks had been set down so it was just a matter of crossing them in order for them to attack Dawn's ship. "I'm sorry it has to be this way but…charge! Leave nothing of value behind!"

"RAAAAAHHH!!!" Bridgette's crew let out a battle cry before charging onto Dawn's ship.

"Attack!" Dawn ordered as her own crew charged forward…as many were left that is as Tyler was still dazed in the crow's nest and Noah had backed out so it was really just herself, Lincoln, Courtney, and Ezekiel. But they held their own even against the impossible odds.

Dawn and Bridgette locked eyes before locking swords as the two captains started a one on one duel. Ezekiel ended up battling against Duncan with the delinquent having a sword in one hand and a flintlock gun in another with Zeke wielding a two-handed sword. With Courtney she took it on herself to battle Eva with Courtney duel wielding flintlocks with Eva readying her fist.

That left Lincoln and his two swords to try and battle against Jasmine with the Australian Amazon easily wielding a two-handed sword in just one of her hands, forcing Lincoln to play a more evasive game in order to even try and handle Jasmine's sheer brute force. "Whew, slippery little bugga ain't ya?" Jasmine smirked as Lincoln managed to duck and roll under another one of her sword swings.

"Comes with living with a large family, gotta get good at dodging!" Lincoln told her as he jumped out of the way of her slamming her sword down on him with Lincoln rolling to the side and swinging his swords at Jasmine and though she did wince a bit it hardly did any meaningful damage. Lincoln was prepared to make sure with a hit and run strategy when fighting Jasmine…until the Australian Amazon suddenly swung around while pulling out her signature dagger and knocking the swords out of Lincoln's hands. "…Dang it…"

"So," Jasmine smirked as she held her large sword over her shoulder. "Any last words mate?"

"...You're very pretty?" Lincoln told her awkwardly, though it was true.

"Aw thanks." Jasmine blushed at the compliment…before taking Lincoln down.

Back with Noah, the brainiac was witnessing all the fighting before him and knew he had to bail. So looking around, he found a barrel and immediately jumped inside only to find it to be rather cramped. "Ugh! Why is it so tight in here?" Noah said as he tried to move around and adjust himself…only to look right in front of him and see that Cody was also in thehere and had the same idea as Noah. "What the-Cody? Get outta here!"

"Hey I was here first!" Cody told Noah as the two tried their best to scoot away from each other. "Get your own barrel!"

"It's on our team's ship!" Noah claimed before swatting Cody in the face with his hand with Cody soon doing the same thing, leading the two to do a sissy fight inside the barrel.

"Back! Back I say!" Courtney told Eva as she, like Lincoln, had to take a more dodge heavy strategy when it came to fighting Eva. Luckily for Courtney it was easier as she was more athletic than Lincoln and with her guns she was able to keep more of a distance as she blasted Eva with rubber bullets.

But Eva's toughness showed as she blocked the incoming projectiles with just her arms. And the iron woman didn't even flinch as she continued to approach Courtney. Eventually Eva charged forward and grabbed Courtney's wrist before the CIT had time to dodge and forced her to drop them before grinning. "Game over princess!" Eva said with a victorious smirk.

"Grrrr…" Courtney growled as she tried to escape the grasp of Eva, but the iron woman's strength was just too much. "If someone is there…please help!"

"H-Huh?" From up in the crows nest, Tyler managed to recover and looked down to see Courtney trapped in Eva's grasp. Acting fast, Tyler grabbed a rope with one hand and prepared to swing down to save Courtney. "Don't worry bro! I'm here for the rescue!" Tyler then put his prop sword in his mouth before swinging downward.

Eva looked up and saw Tyler swinging down at her…and held her fist out causing Tyler to swing into it face first and fall on the ground knocked out all over again. "My hero…" Courtney dryly let out.

"Ow! Ow! Uncle! Uncle!" Ezekiel yelled out as Duncan was giving the home-schooled boy a Texas burn on his arm. Needless to say Ezekiel didn't last long in a duel and Duncan just resorted to bullying the poor guy. "Here! Take it!"

And with that Ezekiel surrendered everything he had to Duncan…which was just his prop weapons and his pirate costume. Duncan wasn't too impressed. "Come on Zeke," Duncan attempted to get more from the home-schooled boy. "You can give me more than that,"

"That was everything I had guy," Ezekiel told Duncan. "What more do you want eh?"

"…" Duncan was silent before a wicked smirk came to his face.

Meanwhile on Lindsay's ship, despite being caught off course for a bit after evading Dawn's ship Lindsay and her crew were back on track heading towards the island. As they sailed towards the island, Harold took a quick surveillance look through the telescope and spotted Dawn and Bridgette's ship in the distance with the two of them engaged in battle. "Admiral Lindsay, Dawn and Bridgette seemed to be engaged in combat! And…Duncan is hanging Ezekiel's underwear on their flag pole." Harold announced what he saw to his admiral. "Should we engage as well?"

"Negative, this is the perfect distraction we need!" Lindsay told the ginger geek as she pointed forward with a grin on her face. "Full speed forward, to first place!"

"Yes Admiral!" Harold saluted Lindsay before calling out to the rest of the crew. "Everyone quick, stealth mode!"

"Uh Harold, this is a ship," DJ pointed out. "We don't have a-"

"Did he stutter?" Leshawna yelled out to DJ. "Get to it!"

"Y-Yes ma'am!" DJ saluted as he did his best to follow the order.

Below deck, the sounds of clashing swords were heard. While Dawn's crew was out for the count, she herself was not as she continued to battle Bridgette and hold her ground. Neither blond refused to give in as each swing was met with another one from the other. It seemed like this battle was perfectly even.

That was…until Dawn lost her footing on a loose floorboard.

Dawn stumbled a bit as she tried to get her footing back, but that was all Bridgette needed. With a clean swipe to Dawn's hand Bridgette disarmed the aura reader. Her blade fell to the ground before Bridgette kicked it away.

Dawn raised her hands as Bridgette aimed her sword at her…but Dawn noticed something. Bridgette was hesitating, her hands were shaking. Seeing this, Dawn gave Bridgette a sympathetic look. "…You're struggling with this aren't you?" Dawn asked the surfer girl softly.

"I…I just…" Bridgette struggled to get her words out. She had the chance to knock Dawn out of this and win this but…would that make her no better than Geoff when he knocked Lincoln out of the competition? "Are we still friends after this?"

"Of course Bridgette." Dawn nodded, seeing the inner turmoil Bridgette was facing with Dawn attempting to help her through it. "I wouldn't hold something like this against you. It's a competition after all."

"It's not just that!" Bridgette snapped as she looked down, thinking about everything that this show has put her through. "This show has done a lot for me, but I also lost a lot because of it. I honestly hate this show right now so much. But I'm actually close to the finale, I might actually win and I have to fight you. I just…don't know how to feel about this whole thing…"

"Yeah… I can understand how you feel about all that," Dawn lowered her head, feeling even more sympathy for Bridgette. She's certainly been through the most this season, no doubt about that. "I can't say I lost as much as you, but this show has definitely brought out my…more negative side."

"I want this to be over…but I can't quit either," Bridgette's frustration was now appearing in her tone as she glared at the wall next to her. "I've come this far after all. It's just…so frustrating!"

"…I never cared about the money in the first place," Dawn told Bridgette, trying to help reassure her. Sure the money would be nice, Dawn and Lincoln splitting it and Dawn using her share to help various foundations devoted to helping nature…but she knew it wasn't required. And she also knew that Lincoln wouldn't be mad at her for surrendering it like this. "It would be nice, but I don't need it. You'd make more practical use for it, a surfing school sounds really nice, hehe."

"….Do you really mean it?" Bridgette slowly asked, looking at Dawn with a desperate look. "You'll still be my friend?"

"Of course I will," Dawn nodded her head, telling nothing but the truth. "Promise."

"…Thank you." Bridgette sighed out before yelling out. "FIRE!!!"

And with that, cannonballs shot through the room coming from Bridgette's ship and almost immediately the ship began taking on water. Wouldn't be long before it started sinking. "See you on the island!" Bridgette told Dawn as she raced back up to the deck.

"Good luck Bridgette!" Dawn yelled out before also making her way up to the deck as well where Bridgette and her crew were already back on their own ship and sailing forward with hers slowly beginning to sink. "Lincoln? Are you and the other's ok?"

"Yeah we're good!" Lincoln immediately ran up to Dawn and embraced her in a hug that she returned. "Sorry, guess we lost…"

"It's ok, I have all I need right here," Dawn sweetly said as she clung on tightly to Lincoln. "But please, you must save yourself before it's too late."

"Don't you remember my captain?" But Lincoln didn't move at all as he continued to hold onto his girlfriend despite the ship sinking. "I promised you I'd always be by your side, and that's not changing now…"

And as the two continued to embrace each other…

"Hey lovebirds!" Noah called out with Dawn and Lincoln looking towards him and seeing him and Courtney looking at him with blank looks while in the lifeboat with Ezekiel and an unconscious Tyler also sitting in it as well. "Are you going to stand there or are you gonna jump into the lifeboat with us?"

"…" Dawn and Lincoln both frowned at him but ultimately made their way to the lifeboat as Lincoln spoke up. "Way to ruin the mood dude,"

"You'll thank me when you aren't swimming to the island," Noah said as he and Courtney lowered the boat down into the water.

TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND

"Hmph, I'll show Chris…" Currently at the iconic location of Camp Wawanakwa on Total Drama Island, Chef was seen on the dock of shame pacing back and forth. Right now Chef was waiting for whenever the first ship would appear and he would get a head start on taking over Chris' hosting duties and proving once and for all which one of them had the harder job. This was going to be a piece of cake. "Thinks I just stand around and do nothing, oh just he waits…"

Just then the sound of rushing water hits Chef's ears as he looks to see one of the ships beginning to approach the dock of shame. And based on the colors it was Lindsay's ship and the buff cook could soon hear them cheering as they got closer. "There it is! We made it!" Lindsay shouted as her crew joined her at the front of the ship. Lindsay made the order to drop anchor with DJ happily doing so before they all took the life boat to the island with Lindsay and her crew climbing onto the dock of shame before they all started celebrating. "We did it! We did it!"

"Alright!" Harold cheered before receiving a big kiss from his girlfriend as DJ danced around in celebration.

"You're in the final two! You're in the final two!" Beth told Lindsay as the best friends hugged each other. "Eeeeeeee!!!"

"Enough! You're gonna make my ears bleed!" Chef yelled out towards Beth, cutting her squealing short. "Congrats girly, you're in the running for million dollars!"

"Chef?" Leshawna questioned seeing the buff cook here and not their usual host. "Where's Chris?"

"Hmph, don't matter where Chris is," Chef immediately told them as he pointed a thumb to himself. "I'm the host now while Chris sees what an actually hard job is!"

"…" Everyone was silent at these words with Lindsay's crew looking towards DJ to see if he knew only for the brickhouse to raise his hands. "Don't look at me, I got no idea what this is about,"

Before anyone could question Chef about all this, the sound of water hit their ears again as they looked towards the lake again and saw another ship coming up towards the Island, and by the colors it was Bridgette's ship. Just like with Lindsay's crew, Bridgette had her crew drop anchor before they all got into a lifeboat and paddled their way towards the dock of shame with Lindsay being the first to greet her now fellow finalist. "Bridgette! Looks like we'll be competing for the million!" Lindsay smiled as she pulled the surfer girl into a hug before putting on a concerned look. "Did Dawn…"

"I…sunk her ship…" Bridgette admitted before giving Lindsay a reassuring smile. "But it's ok, we had a talk about the whole thing and the others will be fine."

That made Lindsay smile in relief but before she could say anything Chef got in between the two and split them apart. "Alright you two, enough with the love I got a show to host!" Chef stated getting Bridgette and her crew to raise their brows in confusion as Chef turned to the camera and began talking…rather robotically. "Two left, only one million dollars! Who will win? Who will not! Stay tuned next time…dude, for the super thrilling conclusion of Total. Drama. Action!"

"…What's going on?" Bridgette whispered to Lindsay who merely shrugged.
