After a few laps both Tyler and Vito began sweating as they ran side by side. "Hah, not too bad jockstrap," Vito told Tyler with a grin. "Sure ya ain't gettin' tired yet bro?"
"Ha! No way! I was made for this!" Tyler yelled back before he began double timing it. "Turbo boooooo-Ouf!" And then Tyler proceeded to trip on a twig on the ground. Groaning, Tyler looked up and saw Vito running ahead of him…and then looked back and saw the mob quickly catching up. "Oh-no!"
Tyler tried to get up and run, but it was too late as he was trampled by the entire mob, with him being all bruised up as a result. "Oooow…" Tyler groaned out.
"Gaffers win!" Chris announced.
"Heads up dudes!" Geoff yelled out as he tossed the rocks towards his team. Tyler was about to catch it but the jock missed it, leading it to hitting him in the face and knocking him down. "Oops, sorry bro."
Everything tensed up as both teams watched. Manitoba did his best to hit the correct targets the second they appeared to get more points for his team. But as for Izzy, she continued shooting stuff down and she found herself growing…excited. "Hehehe…hahahahah!" Suddenly Izzy began laughing loudly, greatly unnerving everyone, before she jumped onto the shooting divider and raised her gun up high. "TAKE NO PRISONERS!!!" Izzy then began shooting around in all directions.
"Crickey!" Manitoba let out as he quickly hit the ground. "Everyone hit the dirt quick!"
Everyone did just that to avoid getting shot by Izzy as she fired every which way. "AH!" Lily let out as she quickly dived behind the bar counter as Izzy shot at her direction and destroyed all the bottles on the counter. "You're not supposed to shoot the dame!"
"Well we knew how to handle a misbehaving horse in the old days! Move aside!" Chester waved Trent away with the guitarist taking a few steps back as the alternate personality got behind the horse. "It only takes a good smack and they'll be nice and obedient like!"
"Uh I don't think that's-" Trent tried to warn only for-
SMACK!
"NEEEEEEIGH!!!" The horse's eyes widened as it let out a loud neigh, opening its mouth and releasing the sheets in the process before it bucked Chester right in the face and sent him crashing into the wall before it ran off.
"Oh hey it worked," Trent smiled as he picked up the fallen sheets and added them to their pile before going to check on Chester. "You ok there man?"
"Uuuugh…my aching bones…" Chester managed to groan out with Trent simply shrugging. He was fine.
Chris then blew on the horn and that was all the incentive Izzy needed to start the battle. "Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay! Ay!" Izzy began before swinging her bone around wildly at DJ. DJ yelped as he tried to use his little bone to block the strikes. Thankfully DJ's strength was enough to keep it up for a bit…there was truly no matching the power of Izzy as after a few strikes DJ's bone was broken in half leading him to hold his arms up in surrender. "Hehehehe~ I think you know what's coming next~"
"C-Come on Izzy…" DJ tried his best to plead with the psycho hose beast. "This is madness!"
"Madness?" Izzy repeated before lifting her bone up high. "This…is…DRAMA! AHAHAHAHA!!!" And with one swift hit DJ was sent down into the tar pit.
"I knew the producers were insane but now I think they're actually trying to kill us!" Harold let out seriously, completely missing a hand appearing behind him carrying a police baton. "If you ask me it's all a conspiracy to-"
WHACK!
"Gah!" Harold let out before he was whacked in the head and falling unconscious.
"Aaaww I'm so sorry," Chris let out in a mocking way before looking towards the camera. "Wait until they find the hidden mouse traps~"
Snap! Snap! Snap!
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!"
"Snap to it losers!" Chris laughed at their pain.
"Uno…dose…boom-boom!" Izzy then pulled down the detonator…only for nothing to happen.
Everyone covered their eyes and lowered their heads ready to be met with a large explosion only to grow confused over the continuing silence. "…" Chris blinked a few times before looking towards the camera. "Well folks it seems we're experiencing some technical-"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
After a delay the bombs went off, forming a mushroom cloud of a paint explosion. When the dust cleared, all of the Grips, Chris, Lily, and Edward were all covered in paint with their hair blown back with Izzy's painting forming nothing but a formless splatter. Even the glass was destroyed. "Hahahaha!" Izzy laughed after the explosion was all done. "Explosivo is one crazy hombre!"
"Explosive…yes…" Chris admitted as he quickly began glaring at Izzy. "Creative and controlled? NOT SO MUCH!!!"
But that wasn't all. Looking forward they all saw a logging truck approaching them. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
TEAR!
Luckily it was just a scene painted on a canvas. "AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" They then saw a broken bridge closed up by police tape approaching.
TEAR!
And that was just a scene too. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" They then saw a series of swat trucks at them.
TEAR!
And that was just a scene too. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" They then saw the planet Saturn in front of them.
TEAR!
Of course that was just a scene. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!" They then saw an old fisherman with a hook hand in front of them.
CRASH!
And this guy turned to be real as they launched him into the air after ramming into the poor guy at full speed.
Harold grinned as he successfully saved the first potato damsel from being hit by the golf cart. When he reached the power lines, the ginger geek grinned as he pulled out his burrito once more and took out a big bite. Climbing up the pole, Harold jumped on them before using his 'superpower' to unleash a fart that sent him flying across the power lines with him grabbing the potato damsel as he passed by it. "Gah!" Chef let out as Harold's 'winds' hit him in the face again. "Not again!"
"Oh please, this is totally different. Ronnie Anne ain't anything like Heather," Geoff claimed, causing Lindsay to roll her eyes and shake her head. "Besides tricking you isn't too hard I mean-"
Whip!
"Ow!" Geoff let out as Lindsay whipped Geoff in the face with one of her twin tails, now glaring harshly at him. "What the hell dude?!"
"Tommy wants a fire truck?" Ronnie Anne read her paper again before looking through the presents and trying to find any that were labeled Tommy. After going through a few boxes, Ronnie Anne found one and shook it a little bit to try and identify what was inside of it. But shaking it didn't really provide any information about what could be locked inside, so the Latina was forced to bite the bullet as she opened the box and tried to see what was inside. "Now let's see if-"
"Brbrbrbr!" And as soon as she opened the box, a familiar Platypus jumped out and latched onto Ronnie Anne's face.
"MMMMMMM!!!!" Ronnie Anne let out a muffled scream as she tried to remove the platypus from her before he could sting her.
"…" But Bridgette offered Geoff nothing but an ice cold glare, and even when the spotlight began shining down on her she refused to follow up with the song. She meant what she said when she was only going to sing on her own terms.
"Come on babe," Geoff pleaded to the surfer girl, stopping his dancing to talk to her. "You can't just-"
CRASH!
"AH!" Geoff screamed as a light fell down on him, the party dude not able to dodge it in time. "Ow…"
"Hmph, time to finally make yourself useful nerd!" Ronnie Anne let out as she forcibly picked Harold up and held him like a battering ram before running forward with a mad grin. "CHAAAARGE!!!"
"AAAAAAAAHHH!!!" Harold screamed out as-
THUD!
Ronnie Anne crashed Harold right into one of the real heart walls. "Guess that's not it~" Ronnie Anne let out a smug grin.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that~"
BAM!
"GAH!" Before Ronnie Anne could react to the voice, she felt something metallic hit the side of her head, nearly sending her to the ground. Ronnie Anne managed to tough it out and stay standing, but her vision was blurry as she looked to see the White Pumpkin in the room with her, with the killer using the blunt end of their axe to strike her. "Y-You son of a…"
Ronnie Anne attempted to fight back as she ran at the killer and threw a punch, but the White Pumpkin easily stepped to the side to dodge before punching Ronnie Anne in the face themselves. The Hispanic teen grunted in pain as the punch sent her to the floor, the killer's fist feeling like they were made of steel. Ronnie Anne attempted to get up but was stopped when the White Pumpkin put their foot on her chest. "…(BLEEP)…you…" Ronnie Anne breathed out.
"Gah! Grrrrr!" Ronnie Anne growled even louder than before as she wiped the fruit juice off. She wasn't about to let these losers ignore and humiliate her like that! "Listen to me when I'm talking to-"
BAM!
"OUF!" Ronnie Anne let out as a watermelon nailed her right in the gut, knocking her off her column.
And with that, the montage came to an end with Courtney and Beth smiling at the camera. "Oh looking at that makes you remember what a long season of pure pain this was," Courtney chuckled as she put a hand on her head before shaking it. "Really makes you appreciate just sticking to the sidelines so far."
"I know what you mean, but our next guest definitely was on the front lines for quite a bit of the competition!" Beth began as they started to hype up their next guest. "DJ had quite the interesting run during his time on Total Drama Action,"
"DJ made quite the impression as the brickhouse with a heart of gold last season, making it quite far but always being held back by his lack of courage," Courtney followed up with the screen showing a few clips of DJ during Total Drama Island as well as a few of his freak outs. "Which is why Chef pulled DJ aside and forced him to make a demon deal."
Courtney then brought up a clip of when Chef first forced DJ into their little alliance…
"Here's the deal." Chef began as he started marching back and forth in front of DJ. "I'll help you man up and win this thing. You don't ask any stupid questions and you split the prize with me. It's like they say, it's an offer you can't refuse. I won't let you…"
All DJ could do in response was gulp fearfully.
"Despite this alliance breaking…all sorts of rules," Courtney stated, trying to resist the urge to point out all the ways this alliance was totally illegal in the game. "DJ went along with it, mostly out of fear of Chef. But it ended up turning into something more than that."
"With Chef, DJ was able to help improve his skills in the kitchen!" Beth brought up as she played a few clips of people actually enjoying Chef's food throughout season 2, all thanks to DJ adding in his own touch to things. "People actually wanted to keep his food down and then some!"
"And for DJ, Chef actually did help the soft hearted guy toughen up a little bit and help him perform much better in the challenges!" Courtney explained as she put on a few clips of DJ during the season including him being the killer in the 2nd horror movie challenge, clearing the disaster obstacle course, winning the superhero challenge, and fighting the White Pumpkin in the murder mystery challenge. "Chef even offered DJ some advice when it came to the girl who stole his heart, Jasmine,"
"Heh, it was more the other way around," Jasmine spoke up as she began to blush and fanned her face a little. "The big bloke stole my heart."
"While he may have been eliminated at the final 5 he's a big winner to both us and Chef!" Beth began hyping up the next guest as she gestured to where he'd be entering from. "Our next guest does one heck of a ribbon dance, once helped Beavers build their dam, and opened up the heart of Chef, it's DJ!"
The fanfare played and the audience cheered as DJ walked onto the set waving to everyone, with Chef walking behind him and giving the brickhouse a proud look. But DJ's smile soon faded as he looked at the electric chair and immediately grew worried. "U-Um, do I really gotta sit in that…" DJ asked with a worried gulp.
"You'll be fine son," Chef reassured DJ with a comforting pat on the shoulder. "It's low voltage and even then just tell the truth and you're good."
"Ok…Ok, I can do that. I have no intention of fibbing." DJ said before steeling his nerves and letting himself get hooked to the chair. While he was still nervous, he trusted Chef and just made sure to remind himself not to lie. Not that he had the intention of doing so. "Well it's nice to see y'all again! Hey Jasmine!"
"Hi DJ!" Jasmine eagerly waved to her boyfriend, happy they were reunited and would be able to spend some quality time together before it was time for the finale.
"We're glad to have you hear with us DJ," Courtney kindly welcomed the brickhouse. The CIT wanted the chance to be nicer towards DJ considering during their time on Island she could be kinda…mean with him. "It's a bummer you lost out though, and you were so close too!"
"Yeah but hey, I kept fighting to the very end! And 5th outta 20 ain't nothing to scoff at! I can still be proud about how well I did at the game!" DJ said with a smile getting many claps in response. As much as he would have liked to win the million for both him and Chef, he could still take pride in how far and how well he did overall. "And at least I can be happy that one of my buds is guaranteed to win the money, they all deserve it after everything that's happened in the season."
"Glad you're being a good sport about it DJ," Beth nodded in approval at the brickhouse's words before asking him her own question. "But I have to know, do you feel guilty about your alliance with Chef? It was kinda cheating in a way…"
"Well, I won't lie. In the beginning yeah," DJ held true to his promise to tell the truth and explained how he felt about his and Chef's alliance throughout the show. "It felt kinda wrong and Chef really intimidated me…but over the course of the season I can't deny that his tough guy lessons really helped me perform better. And it's not like we 'cheated' cheated, anything I won I won it by playing by the rules. Not like I used any dirty tricks or tactics, plus well, Chef really helped support me through the whole thing and I'm thankful for that. The guy is really great, and he doesn't get enough credit."
"Aaaaaaaww," Multiple people in the peanut gallery and audience let out in unison.
"Sniff…" And hearing all this, Chef poked his head out and sniffled a bit as tears built up in his eyes from DJ's words…before he looked forward and glared at the camera. "Get that camera out of my face!"
"Aaaww, that's really sweet DJ," Courtney couldn't help but admit before grabbing the tablet and bringing up the viewers' questions. "Now then, let's see what the viewers at home have to ask you, first off ArsenAll401 asks, what would be your ideal business idea if you had won the million dollars? Technically 500K if you were gonna split it with Chef."
"Hmmm, that's a good question, I mean 500K is still a lot of cash and that'd give me an opportunity to do quite a lot." DJ explained, the brickhouse already having an idea on what he'd like to do had he won. "But Momma's always had a dream of starting her own cooking show and catering business, so I would have used the money to help with that and join her! Be one of those mother-son duos ya know?"
"Oh my mouth is already watering at the idea of that. If your cooking is amazing I can only imagine how delicious your mother's is," Courtney let out as she licked her lips a bit, a gesture shared by many and causing DJ to wave off the praise modestly with a blush on his face. "And next up, Gbeag031901 asks, do you think Chris is aware about that alliance between you and Chef? That's actually a good question, I'd be surprised if he didn't."
"Oh I'm sure he knew, it was one of the few reasons I was worried about the alliance when we first started it." DJ explained to everyone with no one really surprised at the theory of Chris always knowing. "But knowing Chris he didn't do anything because he thought it would be entertaining or good for ratings or something."
"Yep, that sounds like Chris alright," Beth and everyone else nodded in agreement with DJ's words, thinking that's a move Chris would absolutely pull, as Beth began reading out the last viewer question. "AstroSpider asks…oh…to DJ, if it's not too much of a touchy subject do you have any fond memories of your dad or not really?
"Oh dear…" Courtney and a few others winced as Beth asked this question. "DJ, if this is a little too touchy for you we can look for another question."
"Nah, nah it's cool, really." DJ reassured everyone with the brickhouse looking down a bit. "Truth is, I don't really have any memories of my dad…"
"You don't?" Beth asked with a sympathetic look.
"My momma doesn't like to talk about it, but my brothers told me a few things," DJ began explaining the situation the best he could to everyone. "Apparently my momma wanted a big family, but my dad didn't. My brothers were already a bit much for him from what they told me, but when momma got pregnant with me there was a massive argument about it and well…apparently not long after I was born he walked out on all of us. My momma got rid of everything involving him and refuses to talk about him at all. So for basically my whole life I never knew what it meant to have a father figure of any kind."
"Aaaaaawww…" The audience let out as everyone gave DJ sympathetic looks, greatly feeling for the big guy.
"I'm really sorry to hear that DJ, that's just awful," Courtney told the brickhouse with a frown, DJ giving her a thankful look and nodding her way. Wanting to move on from a rather emotional moment like this, Courtney asked DJ his last question of the interview. "But on a hopefully brighter note tell me DJ, who do you feel deserves to win the million dollars?"
"Hmmmm, that's a tough one. Like I said I feel like all of them equally deserved it," DJ hummed in thought a bit before giving his final answer. "But if I had to pick one…I'd go with Dawn! I feel the world needs more gentle millionaires like her in it."
"I can agree with that," Beth nodded in agreement with DJ, the brickhouse stepping off the electric chair and sitting next to Geoff on one of the couches, before looking at the tablet and seeing that they were getting yet another viewer call. "And it looks like DJ is getting a call from someone named…Dana Joseph, hey Joseph's your last name right?"
Hearing the name, DJ gasped before smiling widely. "That's my momma!" DJ told everyone, making everyone watching gasp as they were finally about to meet the famous 'momma' that DJ spoke of numerous times. "Quick answer it!"
"You got it," Courtney did as DJ asked and answered the call. Appearing on the screen above everyone was a woman who looked to be in her mid 40's. She had a shorter and more portly figure and she had skin tone identical to DJ's along with long wavy black hair and plump lips. She wore a dark red hat that had a few flowers on it along with a long black feather, a matching coat with yellow buttons, a magenta sweat, and a dark blue skirt that went past her knees. "Hello Miss Joseph, you're on the Total Drama Action Aftermath show!"
"Thanks for answering dearie, glad to be here. Glad to see you're doing well poopy-doo," DJ's momma had a sweet sounding voice, and the affectionate nickname she had for DJ made the brickhouse blush and caused a few others to begin snickering. "And it's nice to meet all the rest of y'all as well,"
"Hi Momma DJ!" All the Peanut gallery said to the woman on the screen.
"We're happy to have you on the show with us," Courtney politely told Dana. "DJ's told us a lot about you and might I say you've raised a really sweet guy,"
"Aw shucks," DJ let out in response to Courtney's compliment.
"Well I did my best, I wanted to make sure my little Devon grew up to be an outstanding Gentleman," Dana said, feeling nothing but pride for her son. Especially recently given all that he's accomplished given his time on the show. "And it looks like he's also picked up a few things from that cook. I won't lie, I wasn't sure about my little boy being involved with him but…I can't deny that he's helped turn Devon into a big strong man ready to take on whatever the world has in store,"
"Chef's helped me a lot momma," DJ told his mother, wanting to make sure she had a good impression of Chef despite his…less than nice moments he's had on the show. "He's a good man, and I still remember everything you've taught me as well."
"I'm glad, and it looks like that netted you quite the beautiful young lady," Dana gushed as she directed her attention to Jasmine, the mothers words making Jasmine blush even more. "It's a pleasure to meet the girl that my little Deven Joseph fell for!"
"Heheh, w-well it's nice to meet you as well," Jasmine told the woman politely, wanting to make a good first impression on DJ's mother. "Glad I have the chance to meet you like this, hopefully we can do it in person sometime,"
"Oh I would love that," Dana told the Australian Amazon, smiling at the idea of meeting her son's girlfriend in person. "Just let me know when you wanna come visit dearie, I'll have a guest room and hot meal waiting for you,"
"O-Oh wow, that's really nice of ya Miss J!" Jasmine told the woman in appreciation. It would definitely be nice to visit and meet DJ's family in person. "I'll make plans to come around sometime!"
"Well it was really nice getting to meet you Miss Joseph," Courtney nodded her head to the woman in respect. "But we need to move onto the next part of the show,"
"Don't worry I understand," Dana nodded her head in understanding before looking towards her son. "You make sure to call me later ok Poopy-Doo, I love you sweetie."
"I love you too momma!" DJ told his mother before Courtney hung up on her, ending the video call and leaving DJ with a satisfied smile. He was glad he had the chance to talk to his momma now that he was no longer a contestant.
"Well she was a really nice lady," Beth complimented with DJ nodding in agreement. Beth took the tablet and was about to start up the next and last set of clips, but before she did the glasses wearing girl found herself getting a little sentimental. "Well…this is our last set of clips left on the Aftermath, after this and our next interview this will be the last time we're all together like this…I'm really gonna miss this…"
"Oh I am too Beth, it's been a lot of fun getting to do the show with you and everyone else," Courtney said as she wrapped an arm around Beth in a side hug, making the shorter girl smile a bit. "But you know what they say, the show must go on. Let's start those clips."
"Yeah, you're right," After sniffing and wiping her eyes a bit, Beth was ready to play the last batch of clips. "In celebration of our three finalists, we got three of their best moments through both seasons here! Starting with Lindsay!"
And with the push of a button, Beth started the clips…
#3 Lindsay's Prison Break
At this point everyone gets into a full blown argument, everyone shouting over each other and overall not coming to an agreement about anything! "Guys!" Lindsay tried to call out to everyone. "I can get us out!"
"Lindsay, relax, just let us handle this," Tyler told Lindsay in a rather…condescending way. Tyler loved Lindsay but he wasn't sure he could trust any ideas she came up with considering how…low of intelligence she was to put it nicely. "We'll think of something."
Lindsay gasped at that, not even her own boyfriend was gonna hear her out?! Puffing her cheeks out in anger, Lindsay stormed over to the cell door in a huff. Reaching into her hair, Lindsay pulled out one of her hairpins and inserted it into the lock. After a few moments Lindsay managed to unlock it and get the cell door open. Exiting the cell, Lindsay saw none of her teammates had even noticed as they were all too busy arguing. Lindsay was about to call out to them…but decided not to.
CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay
"Every time I have an idea, everyone shoots it down! Even Tyler!" Lindsay was a bit hurt that even Tyler didn't think she could come up with anything to help. Sure she knew she wasn't the smartest person in the world but that doesn't mean she was brainless! She could win challenges too! "If they're not gonna listen then they can get themselves out!"
Lindsay sent her team a glare before closing the cell door and locking it up again, walking away before they could notice.
#2 The Great Space Race
"Ugh I knew this would happen!" Heather yelled out in frustration as she slapped her hand against her forehead. "Never expect that boob for brains to get anything done!"
"Hey I won the first half of the prison-" Lindsay began with an irritated tone. She really hated it when her teammates ragged on her like this and she was just getting sick and tired of this.
"Think it's too late to convince Chris to let someone with a brain behind the wheel?" Ronnie Anne dryly asked Heather before the two shared a laugh at that jab towards Lindsay.
"….." Lindsay was silent as she put on a sour look. Taking a deep breath in and out, a rather devious smile came to Lindsay's face before she shouted out. "What's that Ronnie Anne and Heather!" Lindsay made sure to yell loud enough so everyone could hear, especially Leshawna. "You think Leshawna's giant butt will slow her down and help me win?! That's veeeery interesting!"
Ronnie Anne and Heather raised brows at this, but everyone watched as Leshawna suddenly hit the brakes on her rover and turned her head back to glare at Ronnie Anne and Heather. "What was that?! Nuh-uh! Nuh-uh-uh-uh, I have had enough of you two's attitude!" Leshawna then did a u-turn and aimed her rover right towards the Grip's mission control, making them all flinch. "It's about time someone shuts you two up!"
"…Crap…" Ronnie Anne let out as Leshawna gunned it for her and Heather.
"BOLT!" Heather yelled out as she and Ronnie Anne began running away as fast as they could as Leshawna drove after them.
Lindsay smirked a bit as she began driving forward at a moderate pace. "Brbrbrb!" Bouncing towards her and landing in the passenger seat of the ditzy blonde's rover was Edward who looked up at her. "Brbrbr! Brbrbr!"
"Aaww, hi Edward!" Lindsay kindly greeted the platypus as she petted him. "Wanna ride with me?"
"Brbrbr!" Edward smiled and made himself comfortable.
"Leshawna wait!" The Gaffers all watched in dread as Leshawna completely abandoned the race in order to chase down Heather and Ronnie Anne. "The race!"
"Forget about them!" Lincoln tried to call out to his teammate. "You gotta win this!"
"It's too late!" Dawn told everyone with a wince. "She's too far gone!"
"AAAAAAHHH!!" Heather and Ronnie Anne yelled as they continued to run away. But unfortunately the two girls weren't quite as fast as a full speed rover and soon enough Leshawna successfully ran the two over leaving them all scuffed up on the ground. "Uuuuugh…"
"Haha! That's what you two get!" Leshawna laughed as she turned her head back while continuing to drive. This unfortunately made her miss the crater that was right in front of her and-
CRASH!
All the Gaffers watched as Leshawna crashed her rover right into the middle of the crater. "…Oops…" Leshawna slowly let out as she finally realized she may have messed up. "My bad."
#1 Swearing Off
"I can't believe you just said that! But we pinkie swore!" Lindsay stated with a gasp. Just then the dumb blond started giving a deep hate filled glare at Heather. "You mean, I've been helping you all this time and you didn't even like me?"
"Uh, truth? Not really, no." Heather didn't even hesitate to reveal this. Meanwhile Lindsay felt like crying right now. Heather noticed all the death stares she was receiving from the spectators above, Dawn being the one to give surprisingly the most frightening one, to the wiped-out campers, even Chef was shaking his head at Heather. "What? We're not here to make friends, we're here to become celebrities, remember?"
"Ooh, that's cold, brah." Duncan stated as he and Courtney walked out of the oil and water respectively and glared at Heather.
"Oh, like you're such a team player." Heather scoffed with Courtney visibly restraining herself from strangling Heather. "All you do is go around scaring the crap out of everyone."
"At least I'm straight with people!" Duncan yelled back. He'll fully admit to not being a good person, but not even he would stoop to Heather's level.
"And does all of his challenges!" Courtney claimed as she crossed her arms. "If it wasn't for her, you'd be eliminated weeks ago! And good luck finding an ally now!"
"Pfft, whatever. It's a sudden death round." Heather claimed, not at all taken back by their claims. "No one can touch me."
"This week." Gwen growled as everyone glared at Heather.
"You really are mean!" Lindsay yelled as her anger started to over flow out of her. It was something she's never felt before. "And all that bad stuff people say about you is true. Like how you're a two-faced, back-stabbing lying little (BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!)"
And just like that, Lindsay gave probably the longest swearing rant in reality TV history. And with a middle finger to boot! Everyone couldn't believe their ears. Except for Dawn whose ears were quickly covered by Lincoln. Owen, Chef, and Courtney's jaw dropped; Gwen smirked as DJ silently 'Ooooooh'd'.
Even Heather had a look of stunned horror on her face at Lindsay's words. "I always told them they were wrong. I stood up for you because I thought we were BFFs! But they're right! You really are a two-faced, back-stabbing lying little(BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!)"
Chris grinned with a face that showed exactly what he was thinking. 'I'm gonna get views today!' Even the animals around the island felt stunned from this profanity. Although Edward took advantage of this and pulled out a tape recorder to record the whole thing.
"And guess what? I don't wanna be BFFS anymore!" Lindsay yelled right into Heather's face. "I'd rather spend the day staring at Owen's butt than shopping with you. And P.S. Your shoes are tacky!"
Heather gasped as everyone either cheered for Lindsay or laughed at Heather. "Oh, go jump in the piranha pool!" Heather yelled at Lindsay and was about to walk away…until some screaming was heard. For the first time since this morning Leshawna and Izzy finally returned with both of them still on Izzy's bike. The two suddenly crashed right into Heather and sent the queen bee flying into the piranha pool.
"…Hey Chris I found em!" Lincoln yelled to the host with a grin.
"Hahahahahah!" Once Lindsay's clips wrapped up, everyone began laughing , especially when it came to the last two clips. All except one person that is.
"Shut. Up!" Heather yelled at everyone, shooting up and sending glares in all directions. "It's not funny!"
"You're right Heather, it's not funny," Gwen spoke up, grinning at the queen bee. "It's hilarious!"
"Grrrr!" Heather growled in response.
"Oh man, that never gets olds!" Courtney laughed, remembering being there in person and remembering everything Lindsay said that was bleeped for all those watching at home. "Lindsay really has grown since that moment! But now, I believe it's time we see Bridgette's best moments! Roll clips!"
And everyone then looked up as they saw the three best moments of everyone's favorite surfer girl.
#3 Sugar Crash
"Piece of cake," Ronnie Anne cracked her neck and went to the beginning of the path as Chris pulled out a stop watch before signaling for Ronnie Anne to go. Ronnie Anne took off but made sure to watch her step as she speedily navigated through the various obstacles on the path. From fragile twigs, squeaky toys, and dolls. Now and then she would slip up and her foot landed on the many things that littered the path but she managed to make it to the end. "How was that?"
"Not bad, 45.6 seconds. But you stepped on about 4 things on the path and each slip up adds two seconds to your time. So your final time is 53.6 seconds!" Chris announced with Ronnie Anne grinning, less than a minute so that was good. "Bridgette, that's your time to beat!"
"Woohoo!Let'sdothis!" Bridgette grinned as she immediately started running through the path. Her team's eyes widened in alarm at Bridgette recklessly running through it…but then they noticed Bridgette somehow wasn't stepping on anything. The Grips all looked shocked as it looked like Bridgette was about to breeze right through it…until she reached the middle point and Bridgette started slowing down. "W-Woah…hey guys…why is everyone spinning…"
"Uh-oh," The Gaffers let out as they all knew what was coming.
Everyone watched as Bridgette's face planted on the ground, landing on numerous objects in the process.
#2 Bridgette wins by doing nothing
The first two to take the columns were Bridgette and Lindsay with Lindsay struggling to lift up her large bone while Bridgette looked unsure as she examined the tiny bone she had. "Well this is certainly gonna be a challenge…" Bridgette let out with a sigh.
"How do we know when to start?" Lindsay called out to Chris below.
"Oh don't worry," Chris smirked as Chef brought him the horn he used earlier. "You'll know~!"
Taking a deep breath, Chris blew the horn as hard as he could. Once again the force of it caused everything to shake and for Lindsay that was enough to knock her off balance and send her falling to the tar pit before the fighting even began. "Huh…ok then," Bridgette smiled and shrugged at the results. "That works too I guess, woohoo!"
"Point to Gaffer Tribe!" Lily called out as she stood outside the tar pit, acting as a sort of judge for the competition.
#1 The Big Break
Geoff:
I was trying to keep you saaaafe, I never wanted to make you cryyyy~
Bridgette:
What once was love is now just haaaate, all that's left to say is…goodbye…
"W-What?" Geoff stuttered after hearing that last part. Bridgette…couldn't mean what he thought it would mean right? "Bridgette…what are you saying?"
"What I'm saying is…WE'RE THROUGH!" Before Geoff could even begin processing that, Bridgette rushed up to him and pushed her now ex-boyfriend from the top of the catwalk.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" Geoff screamed all the way down, and to make matters worse he ended up getting hit by a few things on the way making the fall all the more painful before it finally ended with Geoff hitting the ground.
"Ooooooouf!" Chris couldn't help but wince at both the emotional and physical pain Geoff felt, but the host still had his usual grin on his face. "Dumped on international television, harsh, hehe."
"Oh come on…" Geoff let out as he lowered his head in guilt, DJ patting the guys back a few times and offering a bit of kindness. "Why'd you have to use that clip…"
"You know why," Courtney bluntly told Geoff before getting their last batch ready. "And finally, let's check out Dawn's best moments shall we?"
#3 The Great Deer Chase
"Get back here!" Leshawna shot up in the air at Dawn as the birds continued to fly her through the air. Currently the girl with the tude was covered in mud, scratches, and her hair was a mess. Unlike Dawn who had the help of the birds to fly her over the area, Leshawna had to go through everything in her path to get to Dawn which included pits of mud, a small area of sharp rocks, and a few thorny plants and bushes. "How long…can those birds…carry her around…"
But just then, Leshawna's wish came true as she saw the birds start to lower Dawn to the ground. The Gopher hunter grinned as she speeded up and headed towards the area where the birds were dropping Dawn off at. "You ain't gettin away from me now!"
Dawn was quick to thank her bird friends before they flew away after they dropped her off. The area Dawn was at was a landmark in the shape of a perfect circle with only grass in the area with the trees acting as a barrier for this rather unique part of the island.
Dawn heard rustling coming from within the trees, but didn't panic, as she looked to see Leshawna come into the area. Breathing heavily, Leshawna glared at Dawn as she pointed her gun at the Bass deer. "Ain't…got nowhere…to go now…girl…" Leshawna said in between breaths as she put her thumb on the trigger.
"Hmmmm, true." Dawn hummed a bit as she looked around but remained calm. "But before you shoot me…allow me to introduce you to my friends." Leshawna rose an eyebrow as Dawn let out a high-pitched whistle.
It was quiet…too quiet. Leshawna felt a chill go up her spine that urged her to look around the area. Just then, rustling was heard from the entire border of the circular area. Eventually many creatures started to emerge from the woods and into the round open area.
Deer.
Real deer.
Leshawna felt beads of sweat come down her head as she saw bucks, doe, and fawn of different sizes emerge from the woods. All of them glaring right at Leshawna. The Gopher hunter gulped audibly as she tried to back away…only to walk backwards into something.
Slowly looking, Leshawna flinched as she looked to see an incredibly large buck with sharp antlers glaring down right at her. The buck released steam from its nose right into Leshawna's face that made the Gopher quickly get away from it.
Leshawna then looked back to Dawn and saw the aura reader looking right at her with crossed arms and narrowed eyes. Looking around nervously, Leshawna knew that if she shot Dawn, or any of the deer around her, she'd be in big trouble. So, seeing no other way, Leshawna dropped her gun and raised her hands in the area in defeat.
Dawn nodded as all the deer around them stomped their feet on the ground as their form of cheering. "Attention human wildlife and hunters!" Suddenly Chris's voice was heard through the woods making everyone present, both human and deer, looking up. "Please report back to camp! It's time to show your hides and tally up the scores!"
"Welp, guess it's time to head back." Dawn said as she started walking towards Leshawna. Just then the Gopher girl flinched a bit as she saw the massive buck walk past her and lower itself towards the ground and allowed Dawn to hop onto its back like a horse. The aura reader then looked to Leshawna and patted the bucks back. "Want a ride?"
Leshawna's eyes widened a little bit. She wasn't expecting that offer. "For real?" The girl with a tude asked.
"Of course." Dawn kindly said with no hint of malicious intent in her tone or aura. "The game's over so there's no need to compete anymore. And it looks like you've been through enough already."
"Ain't that the truth." Leshawna couldn't help but laugh a bit as she climbed onto the buck along with Dawn. "Thanks girl." Dawn simply nodded and asked the buck to take them back to camp to which the large deer happily complied.
#2 Martial Arts Master
"…You're right, I am just a hippy." Dawn admitted to Ronnie Anne after blocking another strike from Ronnie Anne…before giving her a smug smirk. "…But at least I'm not a virgin~"
"...." That caused Ronnie Anne to freeze in place.
"Whoooooooo," Chris and Chef whistled out as Bridgette gasped with Lindsay grinning widely.
CONFESSIONAL – Lindsay
"WOOOOOOOOO!!!" Lindsay cheered for the fact of Dawn turning in her V-Card as she swung her fist around.
But this gave Dawn just the opening she needed. With Ronnie Anne contemplating what Dawn said, the aura reader rose her sword and aimed right for Ronnie Anne's feet and-
SWIPE!
Dawn literally swept Ronnie Anne right off her feet, knocking her off the pole and sending her into the mist below. Bridgette and Lindsay gasped, not being able to see just how far the Hispanic girl fell…until the mist cleared up revealing the poles only stuck up about four feet in the air with crash mats around the bottom of where they were fighting.
"And that's the match!" Chris announced before hitting the gong again. Immediately Lindsay and Bridgette broke into a cheer as they ran over to Dawn and lifted her up into the air in celebration. Meanwhile Ronnie Anne could only lay on the crash mat she fell on with a look of frozen shock on her face. "Dawn wins the title of master and invincibility meaning she has a ticket to the final three! The rest of y'all are up for elimination tonight at the very last Gilded Chris Ceremony! See you there!"
#1 It's about time!
Dawn giggled a bit as her face heated up. Just then the nature lover scooted closer to Lincoln and surprised the white head by grabbing his hand. "You really are too sweet sometimes, do you know that?" Dawn teased a bit, getting Lincoln's face to heat up more as he sheepishly chuckled. "But…I could say the same thing about you ya know."
"Huh?" Lincoln was a bit too surprised to hear that. He would fully admit to anyone like he did just know that Dawn really was the reason he was still in the competition. But to hear her say that he was why she was still here? "W-What do you mean?"
"Remember what I told you about myself during the second challenge?" Dawn asked as she scooted even closer to the Loud boy to the point that their arms were touching. Lincoln and Dawn's faces were incredibly red and heated as the aura reader kept speaking. "Back home I didn't really have any friends. At least no human friends. Everyone thought that I was just some weird creepy girl that talked to animals."
Lincoln nodded as he remembered every single word Dawn said. "Yeah, I remember." Lincoln's arm suddenly moved on its own as it wrapped around Dawn and pulled the nature lover closer to him. "And I remember saying those people are idiots. Dawn, I mean it when I say you're easily the greatest girl I've ever met. You're kind, sweet, easy to talk to, calm, and always putting others above yourself. I'm so glad I went here. Even if Ronnie Anne ended up breaking up with me. It was all worth it to meet you."
Dawn immediately found herself readjusting her position. Readjusting herself…so that she was sitting right on Lincoln's lap. The Loud boy stuttered a bit as his entire head went lava red from his. Dawn looked right into his eyes and all nervousness she had seemed to disappear. "I can't tell you how happy it makes me to hear you say all that." Dawn's voice was like sweet honey to Lincoln's ears. The aura reader leaned in closer so that their faces were only inches apart. "And…that's the reason why…"
"T-T-T-The r-r-reason for w-w-what." Lincoln stuttered as he felt his body heat up from her touch.
…
"The reason why I love you."
Before Lincoln could say anything in response, Dawn quickly closed the distance between the two and crashed her lips onto his. Finally giving him the kiss she's been waiting for, for so long. Dawn closed her eyes as she kept her lips on Lincoln's and kissed the white head with all the passion she's been holding for so long.
"Aaaaaah, memories," Lincoln couldn't help but gush a bit as the clip of them first getting together finished up, with many others gushing about it.
"Hehe, as much pain and humiliation the show could bring, it did bring its fair share of heartwarming moments, we can't deny that." Courtney spoke up, knowing how many of them have been brought together thanks to the cast, both romantically and platonically. "But of course, the show isn't called Total Drama for nothing. And our next guest was definitely the main source of it for this season."
Immediately the mood became sour as it was time to bring out the last guest of the day, and boy did many have a lot of things they wanted to say to her. "Oooooh you can say that again Courtney," Beth was once again angry, even more so than when it was Geoff's turn for the interview. Beth still hasn't let her grudge against Ronnie Anne go. "When Action started up as we know Chris brought in 3 new contestants to get the number up to an even 20, all of them being rejected auditions from season one. Mike and Jasmine being essentially just random choices that stuck out, but there was one one sole reason Chris wanted to bring Ronnie Anne along."
"To cause Drama," Courtney stated as she began playing clips of the various wicked things Ronnie Anne pulled during her time on the season…needless to say there was a lot. "Specifically for Lincoln and Dawn as he knew all the stuff that happened between them, and needless to say Chris got what he wanted and then some."
"Ronnie Anne was mean, rude, crude, and basically every negative adjective in the dictionary!" Beth listed off as even more clips of Ronnie Anne's underhanded deeds played. "All she wanted was to make Lincoln's life on the show miserable by any means necessary, and crush him into the dirt. Lucky for him, she sucked as a team leader."
"Leading the Grips into a four time losing streak, the longest streak yet in Total Drama history." Courtney spoke up with both hosts having small grins on their faces as she mentioned that. "But she did succeed in eliminating Lincoln through her manipulation of Geoff,"
"You can stop mentioning it now…" Geoff grumbled.
"Our next guest is the biggest jerk in Total Drama history, had no right being on the show, and was the leader in the Trinity of Evil alliance," Beth began listing off 'fun facts' about their last guest as she gestured to where she's gonna enter the set from. "Last and certainly least, it's Ronnie Anne!"
Like with Geoff's entrance, as soon as the fanfare played the audience and most of the peanut gallery began to boo. At first no one was seen walking out onto the set but the Hispanic teens voice was soon heard. "Ow! Ow! Ow! Let me go!" Once again it was up to Chef to bring out the next guest as the buff cook pushed Ronnie Anne onto the set and forced her in the electric chair. "Jack ass…"
Ronnie Anne…flat out looked terrible. Her eyes were red and puffy, she had bags under them, and her hair was an absolute unkempt mess. She just looked liked…she had no energy within her at all.
"Heh, well, this has been a long time coming huh?" Beth asked Ronnie Anne with a grin on her face. Ronnie Anne responded with a glare, but it had noticeably less heat then it used to. "Comfortable where you are now?"
"Oh yeah, it's peachy…" Ronnie Anne grumbled before yelling out in pain as the electric chair delivered its first shock of the day. "Ow! Sarcasm isn't lying!"
"Looks to me like you deserve every jolt," Geoff yelled out angrily towards Ronnie Anne. After everything that happened, and learning the truth for himself, Geoff had nothing but animosity towards Ronnie Anne. "Think you can increase the voltage?"
"Beth, Geoff, easy," Courtney lightly scolded both of them. Like when they were interviewing Geoff Courtney wanted to keep things professional as the host despite her personal feelings towards Ronnie Anne. Plus the CIT couldn't help but pity Ronnie Anne a bit after seeing the state she was in. "Just tell me this Ronnie Anne, was everything you've done, the bullying, manipulation, and just plain nasty attitude. Was it all worth it in the end?"
"…" Ronnie Anne was silent at first…before lowering her head and shaking it slowly. "No…"
"Alright then," Courtney nodded in response before bringing up the tablet and sorting through the viewers' questions. "Now, let's see what our viewers have to ask you, TheCrescentRider asks, despite the animosity you've earned this season, how were you feeling about yourself? I'm not mad. Just concerned, given how hard you've tried to be a better contender. Even with the whole world turning against you and for your attitude and actions?"
"Well let's see…" Ronnie Anne let out a hollow chuckle as she looked at the camera. "I lost the competition, the entire world probably hates me, and I burned pretty much every bridge I have now. So how am I feeling about myself? Like shit, that's what."
"You know that's all your fault," Beth stated before deciding to be the one to read the next question. "Ronnie Anne, what's your best memory of spending time with Lincoln?"
"Was it when you dumped him?!" An audience member yelled out angrily, only for Courtney to grab a mug and throw it in their direction. "Ow!"
"Sorry about that," Courtney let out as she dusted her hands off. "Please continue."
"…When we would just hang out by ourselves on the roof of my family's apartment building…" Ronnie Anne reluctantly answered, making Lincoln's eyes widen a little bit. "I always liked those moments of just the two of us…"
"Well it's always nice to have some private moments together," Courtney nodded, deciding not to pry more than that, as she read out the last viewer question of the episode. "And finally Zexoguy asks, Ronnie Anne, what do you plan to do when you return home after losing the competition?"
"Probably just lock myself in my room for the rest of my life," Ronnie Anne grumbled as she looked away from the camera, wishing she could start doing that right now. "Doubt I'll be able to do much else."
"O-Oh…" Courtney stuttered out before clearing her throat. "Maybe I should have looked for a different one…"
"No I get…" Ronnie Anne sighed out with a hollow and sad smile. "What's the bitch gonna do now? Who's life will she ruin next?"
".....Awkward…" Cody let out after a moment of silence in response to her words.
"Ok…moving on now, and I'm wondering if you'll be able to answer this," Beth rolled her eyes, not sure if she should even bother asking Ronnie Anne the last question. "Who do you want to million?"
"Don't know, and I don't care," Ronnie Anne lightly grumbled as she tried to get herself out of the chair. "Just get me out of this stupid thing already!"
Chef then came by and undid the harness of the chair allowing Ronnie Anne out and to sit on one of the couches for the interviewees. The only space however was next to Harold with the ginger teen scooting away and shooting a glare at Ronnie Anne. Just then Courtney looked at the tablet and saw they were receiving their last viewer call of the day. "And looks like you're getting a call from…Maria Santiago," Courtney revealed, getting multiple 'oooooh's' in response from the audience and peanut gallery. "Isn't that your mom?"
"…Just put her on…" Ronnie Anne gulped a bit, deciding to just get whatever lashing her mother had over with.
"Alright then," Courtney nodded as she answered the call. Appearing on the screen was a Hispanic woman in her late 40's with black hair tied into a bun and brown eyes. She wore a pink sweater and purple yoga pants. This was Maria Santiago, Ronnie Anne's mother and a nurse in Great Lakes City Illinois. "Hello there Mrs. Santiago, you're on the Aftermath show. Glad to have you with us,"
"Thanks for answering my call, it's nice to meet you Courtney and Beth, and everyone else too." Maria kindly greeted everyone, giving everyone a bit of whiplash when they compared Maria to how her daughter acted. Especially when she greeted Lincoln with a sweet and motherly smile. "And it's really good to see you Lincoln,"
"Good to see you too Mrs. Santiago," Lincoln nodded and smiled towards Maria. While his and Ronnie Anne's relationship was greatly tainted, Lincoln was still on good terms with the rest of the Santiago's and Casagrande's. "Hope everything's going well back home,"
"We're doing just fine dear, thank you for asking," Maria told Lincoln, again surprising many others by just how nice Maria was to Lincoln while Ronnie Anne was absolutely bitter. Speaking of Ronnie Anne, Maria finally addressed her daughter as she looked at her with a neutral expression. "Ronalda…" Ronnie Anne flinched at the use of the name and was fully ready for an absolute verbal bashing from her mother…instead Maria just sighed and asked a simple question. "How are you doing?"
"…" Ronnie Anne was silent at first, not expecting her mother to be so…calm right now. But she decided to just go with it and answered her. "About the best I can I guess…" Ronnie Anne answered, even if she wasn't on the chair she knew better to lie to her own mother and say she's doing fine. "Where's the rest of the family?"
"We talked about it and decided that it would just be me calling you, less overwhelming for you," Maria explained and Ronnie Anne could appreciate that. She…didn't really feel like talking to her entire family right now. After a brief second Maria sighed again as she began rubbing her temples. "Ronnie Anne I just have to ask…why? All of this? Just...the cheating, underhanded tactics, manipulation that went as far as to ruin a relationship?" Ronnie Anne visibly flinched as her mother listed off everything she did this season, with Geoff sending her a venomous glare at that last one. "Look I get that you were upset about the break up, but you and Lincoln made a pact and you were the one to break it. Even then I could understand you being a bit sour about it, lots of relationships can end this way. But to spiral this far down…sweetie why?"
"….I don't know mom…" Ronnie Anne answered with a lowered head, her voice breaking a bit as she spoke. She just…couldn't give her mother a straight answer. "I…I just don't know…"
"I see…" Maria lightly shook her head, fully expecting that to be the answer. But she did send a small smile towards Ronnie Anne. Despite how disappointed she might be with her daughter right now…she was still her daughter no matter what. "Listen Ronnie Anne…no matter what you're my daughter and an important part of our family. We'll always love you no matter what," But after sharing those kind words Maria put on a more stern look and tone before speaking up again. "But…our trust and respect, that's something you'll have to earn back. And after you get home we'll be making appointments for you to see a counselor, and there will be no debating about it. Do I make myself clear young lady?"
"…" Ronnie Anne was silent as tears built up in her eyes, and all she could do was nod her head slowly.
"We'll see you when you get home sweetie, te amo," Maria told her daughter before hanging up and disappearing on the screen. With her mother no longer there, Ronnie Anne didn't even bother to stick around till the end. She got up from the couch and walked off set, not wanting to be around everyone right now.
"Well, that was certainly a note to end on," Courtney spoke up, trying to ease the tension a bit as they got ready to sign off. "But there you have it folks! We've reached the end of our last Aftermath segment! It's been fun having you all here but we can't keep the end waiting any longer!"
"But don't worry, you'll see us all there to root for our friends as they fight for the million dollars!" Beth stated as the crowd began cheering and getting hyped up. "Stay tuned for the epic two part finale of…"
"TOTAL! DRAMA! ACTION!!!"
