Chapter 52 - Unhearable

"Planet?" Anaphol whispered under a breath.

Svnyo gave him a glance. Unbothered, Cryst continued.

"Ennet has proposed for valuable research with pointers and ideas on what to look for in the Territory of Sevenren." She plucked out a several pages out of thin air.

Naph's eyelids fluttered, more so twitched. Cryst handed the papers via some means that was unseen to Naph. He glimpsed the faces of the four next to him. None showed a hint he could recognize to be from not knowing.

To Naph one more thing stood out. 'How did it even reach her? When did Ennet give it to her?'

"The number of enemies or interested parties with motives unknown were staggering. This is considering that the boy in question has no to dream cata mind of cata capacity as per seen while his lesio is relatively untrained."

Anaphol's understanding was limited but he did believe this part was about him.

Skipping no beat or tempo, Cryst said. "When the skirmish in the fountain crossroad of the port section of the city began, we found that the dome imprisoning the boy and the corpse could possibly contain their souls for a set amount of time. I believe it could be enough to transfer the boy's soul to an object while locating the corpse's soul would have become easier if the boy had not fought."

Emperor Stelart corrected looking up from the papers in his hands. "That was not a dome, but a sphere."

Cryst gulped down soothing her throat. She knew what was next she had to talk of.

"Two of the enemies were from the continent of Regda, several hailed as the Knights from the Kingdom of Streno," her nose bled at the same instance Emperor Stelart 's eyes rose from the paper for a split moment only to go back. Scrubbing the blood trail on her sleeve, "while many that actively engaged were from the underground market of the Confederation of Tarna,-"

"Skip about the battle of truths." Emperor Stelart flipped to the fifth page.

'Battle of truths?' Svnyo did not understand.

Accepting the instruction, Cryst nodded as she once again wiped the recurring nosebleed. "As we ascended above the Island of Monite, Dykur noticed the boy, Anaphol, to go comatose for a moment less than a microsecond. His eyes glassed at that time while he looked at the sun rising from the west."

'What is comatose?' Naph's confusion on the reports continued.

"Travelling upwards, the battle of truths below continued as Ennet engaged with other participants, and enemies. The battle from above seemed to have entrenched the entire port side of the Central Monite." Gulping her spit, "The number of-"

Emperor Stelart simply rose his eyes. It carried the same insouciant facet to it as his voice did.

Cryst did not continue with the possibly assumptions and theories she had on the battle. She chose to comment on Nert's report. "The number of large scale transactions between the pirates and the governments of Southern Regda and its nearby nations as detailed by Nert did destabilize the economical value of the strait completely controlled by Confederation of Tarna."

Lady Izne, having stayed silent all this while, said. "What happened after the battle of truths?"

Cryst's chest rose slowly but steadily, her lungs filled with the charged air of the grand hall. "We went up." Lady Izne's eyes narrowed. She felt a change in Cryst's voice.

"As we rose we encountered a structure that seemed to be a dense cloud."

Naph did not notice any change to Cryst.

"The cloud wasn't a cloud but a caestre of Crowned Mind," Cryst spoke an unhearable phrase, one Naph only slightly seemed to touch upon, "with subordinate caestres of symbolic existence equal to a murder of crows. This murder of crows as well were in," Cryst inhaled.

Svnyo however cut in, "The cloud was a caestre?!" Cryst glanced back at her. "Yes, that was Destructive Indemnify Crowned Mind," another time she used an unhearable phrase that Naph couldn't hear, "Caestre."

Svnyo's confusion did not subside but she kept her silence. Naph, however, was more puzzled. 'Ovier, Litto, and Dykur too show something…I think they couldn't hear too. But what of Svnyo? She… she looks like she wants to ask more. So why not?' He then looked around.

Naph's eyes widened slowly. 'It's the audience.' The people in the gallery were unmistakably staring right at Svnyo. As if she had done something horrible.

Emperor Stelart confirmed, "Crowned Mind," he used the same unhearable phrase that Naph could not hear, "Caestre?"

Without a care in the world, Emperor Stelart turned his head slightly to his left. And he turned it back to Cryst in a moment.

"Yes, it is at that. However, neither the subordinates nor the cloud caestre is Destructive or Indemnify sub-categories."

Cryst opened her mouth to push for her perspective.

Lady Izne however rose her right hand from her side in an open palm stance. Cryst was back instantly where she earlier was with the rest of the group and Anaphol.

Lady Izne spoke, "We have heard all we wished to hear for now. Emperor Stelart and His council will deliver His judgement in a week's time from now."

Anaphol screamed instantly. The child that was him had seen enough for a single day. The place that he had made his home since he left his home was in mortal peril.

His voice carried it all. "YOU! You need to! Need to stop the battle now! People are dying!" A guard of the court appeared next to him moments away from punching him.

Emperor Stelart simply said. "Horui, I did not give you permission," the guard panicked stopped himself, "nor anyone here to mortally injure this empire's guest. And certainly not in front of any member of the Highest family."

Naph still had his breath taken out of him just by mere appearance of the guard next to him. Yet, he screamed his throat out.

"Please, Emperor Stelart!" Begging he dropped down on his knees, his heart screamed. 'Fuck Extea's guidelines, it won't matter if he isn't alive not until… not until.'

"Please, stop the battle of the Territory of Sevenren. People. Innocent people are dying." His eyes watered, no tears flowed yet nor they will. "I proclaim an oath! An oath to deliver on what I promised!"

Emperor Stelart opened his mouth, his face as same as it was when Naph first entered. "People die every day. There is a battle or war happening somewhere else on our planet unbeknownst to you or me. Places of possibly more importance. So why should we move for yours?"

"Because I never break my promises!" He thought for a split, mixing some instincts for wording it better. "Because I am a bounty hunter! One that stands on the principal of delivering! One who keeps his oaths!"

Emperor Stelart Keyriftrian demurred Naph's cry with a simple shake of his head.

"Then-then-then give me…a way to-to move you for that!" His mind flooding with thoughts of what maybe happening.

Lady Izne spoke, "A week later we will have come upon a decision. Until then you are our-"

"Learn and make your Dream cata mind evolve, learn a lesio." Emperor Stelart halted. "Learn more than one before we decide with our judgement. We will then move with your proposal as much as we wish to. Do you accept these terms?"
