Chapter 89 - Exploring Palace

"Good. You are such an obedient wife, aren't you?"

"Am I?" She asked, standing up from her dressing stool and turning around to face him.

"Yes, my sweet and obedient wife." He wrapped his hands around her waist, pulling her closer he whispered. "You are looking beautiful."

Their faces were so close that they can feel eachother's breath. With such a closeness and how Ira had made up her mind to surrender herself to her husband, without thinking twice, she kissed him.

His eyes widened to see her making first move but soon he responded.

But remembering their responsibilities, Raksheet broke the kiss, panting heavily.

Ira looked at him with a little disappointment and breathed deeply "What happened?"

He smiled and kissed her cheek "We should leave now. The carriage is already waiting for us."

She sighed and placed her forehead on his chest, hugging him tightly. "I don't want to leave." She said with a childish tone.

He laughed and patted her back. "But we have to. We will continue our kiss when we will return. Alright?"

She looked at him with a sad face and nod. "Alright."

"Let's go then." He broke the hug and held her hand. They walked out of their chamber and went downstairs to meet their family before leaving.

"Take care of Ira and don't leave her alone." Abhiveera said to Raksheet while Ira was busy with Neisha and Avanya.

"I will. Don't worry." Raksheet reassured. "If i have to leave her, Vinay will be with her all the time." He pointed towards Vinay who was standing behind him.

Vinay nod and said "Don't worry your majesty, I will protect her highness at any cost."

"Good." Ashwant said "Now you should leave. You have to reach Bayar before evening."

Raksheet nod and turned towards Ira "Are you done? Shall we depart?"

She came to him and replied "Sure."

"Let's go." He held her hand and started walking towards carriage. He helped her step in the carriage and entered inside as well. He closed the door and sat beside her.

Ira was looking at her in-laws through the window and hearing their instructions. She was feeling like she was going on a war and everyone is teaching her techniques to fight.

Raksheet knocked on the carriage and it started moving. Ira waved at her in-laws who were still instructing her with loud voice as the carriage was going away from them.

She took her hand inside and sighed heavily. "They are too worried." She commented.

"Because they have a reason for it." He muttered in low voice.

"This is kitchen. Do you want to work here?" Agastya asked Ankush while showing around the palace. The kitchen was empty and no one was around so Ankush don't have to act now.

"No, I will be the cleaner. I will clean the palace and especially...." Ankush came near Agastya and whispered "their chambers."

Agastya chuckled and replied "Fine. Let me show you their chambers. But be careful and don't steal anything." Before Ankush can hit him, he quickly moved aside and walked away while laughing.

"He really want to get a punch from me." Ankush said to himself while controlling his anger.

"This is queen Daksha and king Dhishva's chamber."

Agastya said, standing infront of a chamber with white and pale yellow coloured decoration and a big bed in the middle. A almirah at a corner and a tea table near the window. The bathroom door was near the almirah. Ankush have such a sharp memory that he observed everything carefully and stored the chamber's layout in his mind.

"Fine." Ankush replied "Next?"

Agastya gestured him to follow and took him to Veera's chamber which was nearest from Dhishva and Daksha's.

"This is Veera's chamber."

"Is she inside?" Ankush asked, hearing the water running sound coming from the bathroom.

"She is a lazy princess. She wakes up when normal people go to their work." Agastya whispered.

"Her chamber is too much.....fancy, isn't it?" Ankush asked with a weird look.

"Yes it is."

The chamber was coloured in dark and light pink colour and many painting were hanging on the walls, of her and her brother. Her bed was bigger than her parents' with a soft pink blanket over it. The decoration was looking too extra that it was making their stomach twist.

"Disgusting." Ankush commented with straight face.

"I agree." Agastya replied. "Let me show you Veer's chamber. Come."

They walked away from there and Ankush asked

"You address princess Ira as princess but you address Veer and Veera by their name. Why?"

Agastya scoffed "I can ask you the same question. Why you do the same thing?"

Ankush rolled his eyes tiredly "Because I hate them."

"Exactly!"

They came infront of Veer's chamber. It wasn't looking like a chamber but an armoury. Swords and shields hanging on the wall. Weight lifting equipment at every corner of the chamber. A painting of him and his beloved sister hanging on the wall behind his bed.

"He is working hard." Ankush commented "But in a wrong way. Your physical strength is not the only important thing to give you throne. Your loyalty and dedication for people's welfare also matter. And he failed in it already."

He looked at Agastya and asked "Did Princess Ira also have such a big chamber?"

Agastya nod "Yes she do. But she keep it simple. She hate how her sister decorate her chamber. So she don't want to decorate her own. In her chamber, she have most of the things her grandfather gave her."

"Where is her chamber?"

"Next to her grandfather's. Come, let me show you his majesty's chamber."

Agastya walked towards Viraaj's chamber and Ankush followed him.

They reached his chamber and found him sleeping on his bed. The soldier outside Viraaj's chamber smiled after seeing Agastya but didn't said anything because he was on his duty. Agastya smiled back at him in response.

"Is he alright?" Ankush whispered to Agastya.

"I think so. Since last weak, I am serving him his food. No one can mess with his food because i always roam around kitchen and bring his food to his chamber." Agastya whispered back.

"Veer didn't tried to poison him in this few days?" Ankush asked in wonder.

"He did." Agastya replied with a sigh "But I didn't let him. He tried to snatch the food from me, saying that he will bring food for his grandfather but I didn't let him do that. He even hit me."

Ankush's eyes widened in anger "What? He hit you?"

Agastya nod "Yes, he hit me. When I didn't let him snatch the food, he tried to slap me but before he can do that, her highness came and saved me. After that, next day he called me in the armoury and hit me in the name of practice. He said I have good body so he want me to fight with him. To test his strength. I knew he wanted to beat me but i can't disobey him so I went to fight."

"How dare he?!" Ankush cursed and fisted his fingers to suppress his anger. He tried to keep his voice low but it disturbed Viraaj's sleep and he woke up.

Viraaj looked around and tried to sit up.

Agastya quickly rushed into the chamber to help Viraaj and Ankush followed him. He stood behind Agastya, continuing his acting.

"Careful." Agastya said to Viraaj while placing a pillow behind his back for support.

"Thank you Agastya." Viraaj said in his hoarse voice. He looked at him and his sight fell on a young man hiding behind him.

"Who is he?"

Agastya looked behind and pulled Ankush forward. "Greet his majesty." He said to Ankush.

Ankush quickly joined his hands and again hided behind Agastya.

Agastya laughed awkwardly and again pulled Ankush forward.

"He is a little shy. Don't mind him your majesty. He is my cousin, Ankush. He will work in palace from now on. Her highness gave him job of a servant."

Viraaj looked at Ankush from head to toe "Good. Work hard and don't disappoint anyone. How old are you?"
