Chapter 88 - Meeting the Queen

"The people who have come for job. They might think I am getting this job because of you and will create problems for me in future. It can affect our mission." He asked concern.

"They will not." Agastya assured "And even if they tried to do it, I will make them removed from their job. I am the head servent in this palace." He said, praising himself "So no one can disobey me. They will not bother you once they get to know that you are my cousin."

"I am not." Ankush said, releasing his hand from Agastya's grip.

"For everyone, you are." Agastya replied with a smirk, making Ankush more annoyed.

"This way." He said and Ankush followed him obediently, gazing everywhere and observing everything in the palace but not making it look obvious.

When they reached the garden behind the palace, Ankush saw a woman sitting on the chair infront of a table in middle of the garden. Her hair were black and eyes were light greenish blue. Her skin was fair and glowing in the sunlight. She was in her early forties but her beauty was still young and glowing. She sipped the tea from the cup and looked at the garden adoringly where her daughter used to spend her whole day playing and plucking the flowers with her mother and grandfather.

"Greetings, Your highness." Agastya said, stepping inside the garden and joining his hands.

Daksha shifted her gaze from garden to Agastya and the man standing behind him. She placed the cup down on the table and asked.

"Is he Ankush?"

Agastya put his hands down and replied "Yes, he is Ankush. My cousin." He pushed Ankush forward and signalled him to greet.

Ankush was already mesmerized by Daksha's beauty that he forgot what he have to do. After getting slightly pushed by Agastya, he came to his senses and joined his hands quickly and looked down, not to look at Daksh and feel nervous to talk to her. Well, he is already nervous.

"Greetings, your highness. I am Ankush. Agastya's cousin. I am here for job. I will be glad if you could give me some work here." He put his hands down.

Daksha stood up from her seat and walked towards them "I would be glad if you work in my palace Ankush." She said with a polite smile.

Ankush glanced at her in surprise but again looked down shyly. "W-What?"

Daksha placed her hand on Ankush's shoulder, making him wide his eyes and shiver from inside. He never allowed any woman touch him but he can't refuse Daksha right now.

"Yes, i would be glad if you work here. I am sorry, we couldn't reach you when you were suffering alone after losing everything. You should have come here before. I would have helped you already and you wouldn't have had to work for strangers, taking care of them." She removed her hand from his shoulder, making his racing heartbeat calm down. He sighed in relief without letting anyone know.

But Agastya can easily notice Ankush's expression changing and face flushed red in shyness and tried to control his laugh.

"But don't worry. Now you don't have to suffer anymore. You are hired. You will work under Agastya. He will train you." She looked at Agastya "Agastya..."

Agastya quickly became normal and replied "Yes your highness?"

"Show him arround the palace and teach him his job. What he is good at?" She questioned.

"Everything. He is good at everything. Cleaning, coocking, gardening and taking care of sick people, everything. He will do anything you say." Agastya quickly answered, hoping Daksha to assign Ankush for taking care of Viraaj or his food but she didn't.

"Fine, he can clean the palace or cook in the kitchen, as you like. I am leaving him on you." She again patted Ankush's shoulder, making him stiff on his place and close his eyes tightly.

"Work hard and always stay loyal to us. I guarantee your secure future and life if you stay loyal to us. Don't disobey anyone in this palace and learn from your mistakes. If someone says anything to you or do something wrong to you, just come and tell me. I will take care of it. Ok?" She said gently and Ankush hardly nod.

"Good. I am leaving then. Agastya, explain him his work."

Agastya nod in response and she walked away from them.

Ankush opened his eyes and ease his stiff body. He took a deep breath to control his uneven heartbeat.

Agastya tried to control his laugh but failed after seeing Ankush's red face.

"Stop laughing!" Ankush whisper yelled. "I am not a kid! Why are they treating me like that! Why she had to touch me?!"

"Sorry, sorry." Agastya tried to say in between his laugh and looked around to see if anyone is there.

"She have a son of your age, she must be looking at you how she looks at her son. You don't know but your act is making you look like a innocent kid. How can they resist your cuteness and treat you like a adult?"

"I am not a kid! Stop calling me that! I am an adult. Doesn't matter how I look, I am an adult and people should maintain a distance from me. Especially women." Ankush said while clenching his jaw in anger.

Agastya slowly stopped laughing and patted Ankush's shoulder "Hey! Don't take it seriously. It's our work. Let's do it." He whispered "Just for few days or weeks. We will be free after that. Veer will go to jail and will not be able to become the king. Let this mission complete, after that, no one will treat you like a kid. They will see you as a great man and a great spy."

Agastya's words motivated Ankush a little and he smiled slightly.

"Now stop buttering me and show me the palace. Let's start the mission." He said and walked inside.

Agastya shook his head, seeing how easy it is to motivate him and walked behind him.

In Jwalana, Raksheet was finishing his work to leave for Bayar. Once his work was finished and he assigned his officials their work, he went to his chamber to bring Ira to the carriage.

"Ready princess?" He asked, standing behind his wife infront of the dressing table where she is wearing her jwellery.

"Almost." She replied with a smile and passed him a necklace. "Help me."

He smiled and took the necklace from her. Tying it around her neck, he asked "You remember my instructions, right?"

"Yes I do." She replied with a smile, looking at him through the mirror. "I will always stay by your side and will never wander around without you. I will not talk to others when you are not around. I will not interact with Bakshi family when you are not with me. I will not listen to their nonsense doesn't matter how hard they try to talk."

He smiled and kissed her head "Good. You are such an obedient wife, aren't you?"
