"Don't you dare think about it. If father told you to stay away from him then stay away. You know whatever father says it have a reason. So don't you dare think about marrying or flirting with that Bayar's prince. Stay away!"
Veera gulped hard and blinked several times, calculating the situation. "O-Ok. I...i will stay away from him. Don't worry. I won't do anything." She carefully wrapped her hands arround Veer's arm "Now let's go. We wanted to see the palace, didn't we?" She quickly changed the topic before getting more scolding from her brother.
Veer closed his eyes and took a deep breath to calm down. He then opened his eyes and smiled at Veera. "Ok. Let's go. But don't forget what i told you."
Veera repeatedly nod her head as yes and went to see the palace with her brother.
"Grandfather, are you feeling better now?" Ira asked while putting the plate of breakfast that her grandfather just finished on the tray and signalling the maid to take it away.
"Of course! I met you so how can I not feel better?" Viraaj replied with a big smile.
Ira know her grandfather loves to be with her, praise her and her company a lot but this time she can see that he is not lying. He is looking better than yesterday. His face is not pale anymore and he is looking happy too. May be what he says is right. His health gets better when he see her.
"I am glad to hear that." Ira replied. "Do you want to go out for a walk? In garden?"
"Sure. Let's go." Viraaj threw the sheets away and tried to stand up from his bed with his weak body.
"Wait! Let me help you." Ira quickly stood up from her chair and helped her grandfather stand. "Be careful. Your body is still weak. You shouldn't try to stand up so fast." She scolded her grandfather as he is acting like a careless kid.
"Ok ok. I will remember. Now let's go." He held Ira's hand and started walking towards the door without heeding her continue scolding.
They reached the garden and Ira showed her grandfather everything in the garden.
"And this is the swing. I like it a lot." She helped her grandfather sit on the swing and then sat down next to him. She swung the swing slowly and rested her head on Viraaj's shoulder. she held his hand tightly, feeling disturbed by her grandfather's health. She want to know what happened in this one month that her grandfather fell ill like this. He can't even walk by himself. Everyone used to depend on him and now he have to depend on others to even walk few steps.
"What happened? Someone said anything?" Viraaj asked after seeing his granddaughter being so quiet.
Ira rested her chin on Viraaj's shoulder and looked at him. She shook her head "No. Everything is fine."
"Then why are you sad?" Viraaj again asked, looking in Ira's eyes.
She sighed softly and sat straight. "I am just worried about your health." She said directly "You were all fine and healthy when you last visited me. Then what happened in this one month? Did you ate something you are allergic to? Did you got a health check up from a healer?"
Viraaj thought Ira is worrying a lot for such a normal thing. He can fall sick as he is getting older. But he don't know how to explain it to her. She is not listening to him, doesn't matter how much he tried.
He wrapped his arm around Ira's shoulder and pulled her in his arms. He rested his head on Ira's and said. "You are thinking too much. Don't worry. I told you i am feeling much better now. I will recover soon."
"But grandfather, i am not feeling well to see you like this." Ira said with a sad tone.
Viraaj patted Ira's head to calm her. "You will be fine too, soon."
Both were silent, just enjoying each other's company. Without saying anything just swinging slowly on the swing.
When suddenly, Viraaj heard a sound of blades clanking. He looked arround to find the source of sound when Ira spoke.
"The sound is coming from armoury behind the garden." She looked up at her grandfather's face and asked "Do you want go there and have a look. I think your grandson-in-law is also there."
Viraaj laughed when Ira mentioned Raksheet and nod "I would love to. Let's go and have a look. Let's see how strong your husband is and how he fight."
Ira blushed and replied "He is the strongest. But not more than you."
Viraaj laughed out loud to see how Ira is feeling shy to talk about her husband but still being biased towards her grandfather.
"You are indeed my granddaughter. Always being protective and possesive for me."
Viraaj got down from the swing and with Ira's help, he walked towards the armory.
They stood outside of the armoury gate to see the soldiers practicing without disturbing them. They saw Ahil training some of soldiers. He was acting so strict and looking fierce, completely different than how he act infront of his sister Ira. The cute and sweet Ahil is now looking like a aggressive and powerful commander.
Ira was surprised to see this side of Ahil when suddenly Ahil did something that made her heart skip a beat.
He grabbed a whip and burned it. He hit the ground near a soldier's feet with that whip and golden sparks of the flame spread around it. But the soldier didn't got distracted by it. He know he should not react to that whip or it's flame and continue his practice if he don't want a severe punishment of practicing in the centre of a circle with burning flame.
"Do you think that's enough?!" Ahil yelled at that soldier. "How can you be a part of royal army and fight against our enemies in war with that weak skill and strength? Huh?! Use your full force and attack!" He was looking so angry that even Ira shivered in fear for a moment after seeing that burning whip.
"He is doing good." Viraaj commented.
Ira snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Viraaj "Isn't he being too cruel? It's scary."
"Of course not." Viraaj replied "This is the least scary thing you are seeing."
Ira raised her eyebrows in wonder and again turned her head towards Ahil who was busy training his soldiers.
"Ahil can surely be a great commander." Viraaj commented.
Ira looked at him and replied "He IS a great commander."
"Sister!" They heard a voice calling them and Ira looked up. They found Ahil waving at them with a wide smile.
They waved back at him.
Ahil threw the whip aside and ran towards Ira. He opened the gate that connects garden and armoury and asked "Why are you standing here? Come, let's go inside."
Ira waved her hand as no "No no, it's fine. Grandfather wanted to see the armoury so i brought him here. We don't want to disturb you. You can continue your training."
"No sister, you never disturb me. And more importantly, You are the king's wife, you can come and go wherever you want. The armoury is all yours." Ahil then looked at Viraaj "Grandfather, are you feeling better? You shouldn't stand here for long, your legs may hurt. Come let's go inside." Before Ira and Viraaj can respond, He held Viraaj's both hand and pulled him inside the armoury.
Ira wanted to stop him but seeing how excited her brother-in-law is, she surrendered. She closed the gate and followed them inside.
As soon as they entered in the armory, all the soldiers stoped their practice and joined their hands to greete Viraaj and Ira. Ira waved her hand and signalled them to continue practicing.
