Chapter 195 - Chapter: 0.194: God of Destruction IV

Dust swirled in the air like golden ash, hanging above the shattered battlefield. The remnants of mountains crumbled into obsidian dust beneath their feet, and the sky—a bleeding canvas of fractured crimson and violet—bore witness to gods warring. Naoko stood in silence, her chest rising and falling with calm defiance as her silver eyes locked onto the approaching figure.

Ebernio.

The God of Destruction, veiled in cosmic wrath, her smile like a knife dragged across flesh, hovered above the cracked earth. Her eyes shimmered with voidfire, her dark, celestial skin glowing like dying stars. "You've begun to amuse me, child of the moon," she said, voice echoing with ancient malice. "But amusements end."

Naoko's bloodied lips curled . "Then let's end it with elegance."

She thrust her hand forward. Mana erupted.

A radiant surge of red light engulfed her form. The Crimson Moon—Moon of Frenzy—unleashed its fury. Her aura shifted to a dense haze of killing intent. Sparks ignited at her feet as she launched herself forward, her fist colliding with Ebernio's forearm. The shockwave leveled the battlefield for miles.

But Ebernio laughed.

Like smoke reforming, her arm twisted and lashed Naoko into the earth. The goddess crashed with thunder, carving a crater miles wide. Blood seeped from her mouth, but her hand rose again, crackling with blue lightning—the Moon of Ruin.

She snarled. "Vortis… EXHALE!"

The incantation triggered a celestial storm. Bolts of golden electricity cracked through the clouds, blasting down with surgical precision. Ebernio countered with a gravitational pulse from her palm—Atra Dominion, an ancient technique from her profile—a vortex of collapsing space that swallowed half the lightning.

The rest struck her.

She reeled back, briefly stunned, but only just. Her form regenerated instantly. "Cute."

Naoko rose.

Mana spun around her like blades, shifting between colors—green, red, silver, blue. She could only channel two moons at a time, but in rapid succession she rotated them, building momentum, dancing the line between mastery and madness.

"Nihil."

A flash of black fire.

The air behind her split. Her spiritual weapon, Nihil, tore through space into her grasp—a long, slender blade made of pure lunar essence, its edge devouring light. She gripped it with both hands, and crimson mana coiled around

She surged.

"Vitae Crucible!"

A combo spell infused into her sword. Naoko unleashed a whirlwind of slashes, every strike trailing arcane sigils, every cut aimed with divine geometry. Ebernio parried, dodged, weaved—until one slash grazed her cheek. Blood.

Ebernio's smile vanished.

Her foot drove into Naoko's gut, sending her flying.

The world blurred. Naoko stabilized midair, flipping, drawing a deep breath. Green lunar mana surged into her wounds, sealing fractured ribs, regrowing ruptured tissue. In one breath, she was whole again.

"I will not be a toy."

She activated the Moon of Time—White Moon. Everything slowed. Even the falling ash halted in air. In this frozen realm, Naoko teleported beside Ebernio, blade raised.

Slash.

Ebernio twisted—barely. A gash split across her shoulder.

"You think time scares me?"

She clapped. A vacuum implosion formed from her palms—gravity magic laced with temporal counter-currents. Naoko dodged by nanoseconds, her coat catching fire from proximity. Her blade lashed again—horizontal this time—deflected.

The two titans spun in an aerial ballet of death, every blow thunderous, every movement tearing apart reality.

Naoko whispered a new chant. Her voice echoed in a rhythm that cracked glass:

"Lunaris Severance. Bind the night. Break the will. Bleed the void."

Runes circled Nihil.

She blinked behind Ebernio. The goddess turned.

Too late.

Naoko's blade struck true—imbued with purple lunar mana—Moon of Void. Space cracked like porcelain. A rift formed across Ebernio's torso. But no blood flowed. Just… light.

Then darkness.

Ebernio exploded outward in a burst of void energy, sending Naoko spiraling. The ground below turned to liquid light, molten and howling.

Breathing hard, Naoko rose again. Her body trembled.

"Not enough," she whispered. "You're still holding back."

Ebernio smiled with a cruelty that split the sky.

"I wanted to see how far you'd go."

Her power surged. The stars went out.

Naoko gritted her teeth. "Then allow me… to go further."

Celestial Invocation – Uranus' Grace.

Her back ignited in radiant lunar fire. Two glowing wings burst forth, woven from stardust and mana. A halo formed, humming with divine vibration. Her hair lifted, burning like white fire. The symbol of Uranus—a crescent moon crossed by a blade—glowed on her forehead.

Ebernio whispered, "Beautiful."

Naoko descended like an angel of ruin, blade blazing, moons orbiting her like dying suns. "You made me become this, Ebernio."

They clashed once more.

A soundless boom split the continent.
