Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 1 — Journey into the Unknown

A group of young people boarded a plane bound for Los Angeles. What could possibly go wrong, right? Some were so excited they couldn't sleep during the flight, while others, exhausted from the long wait at the airport, had quickly dozed off.

Minkyu was one of those who stayed wide awake. Unlike the others, he wasn't just enjoying the ride — he was documenting everything with his camera. His phone never left his hand, constantly recording every detail.

Sitting beside him, Angel watched with mild confusion. She was used to her friend's ways, but still couldn't resist asking:

"Why do you record everything around you?"

Minkyu rolled his eyes, as if the answer was obvious.

"I need to get more fans and keep the ones I already have happy. You can't get new followers without posting videos."

Angel let out a small groan and put on her headphones, ending the conversation. Her long blonde hair, streaked with pink, fell over her shoulders as she turned away, her blue eyes glowing under the dim cabin light.

Minkyu didn't mind. He just wanted to keep recording — gaining followers was his priority.

All around them, the atmosphere on the plane was a mix of excitement and calm. Some passengers chatted animatedly, while others had already surrendered to the weariness of travel.

Jack and Bonnie, sitting a few rows back, were fast asleep. Jack, with his light brown hair, soft hazel eyes, and sun-kissed skin, rested his head against the seat. Bonnie, with her pale pink hair and delicate features, dozed with a peaceful smile, as if dreaming of something sweet.

Nearby, Moon and Peter were deep in a quiet conversation. Moon, with her deep brown skin, curly hair tipped in blue, and expressive eyes, spoke eagerly about all the places she wanted to visit as soon as they arrived. Peter, fair-skinned with brown hair and dark eyes, listened attentively, occasionally chuckling at her comments.

Misuk, as always, preferred silence. Headphones in, she gazed out the window, her near-black eyes lost in the clouds beyond. The world outside the glass seemed calmer than the crowded plane around her.

Beside her, Noah matched her stillness. His dark hair was slightly tousled, and his green eyes were alert as he mentally reviewed the trip's plans. His strategist nature didn't allow him to fully relax — he liked having everything under control.

On the other side of the plane, Alec and Liam chatted excitedly, their voices blending with the steady hum of the flight. Alec, with his sun-bronzed skin, blonde hair, and vibrant green eyes, laughed at a joke from Liam, whose warm mocha skin, brown curls, and light green eyes gave him a charismatic presence. The surfer and the rapper were already dreaming up the adventures they hoped to live in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Stella and Thomas slept peacefully. Stella, always quiet, had her brown hair falling over her face and eyes gently closed in restful sleep. Thomas, with dark skin, curly hair, and kind brown eyes, had also given in to the exhaustion of the journey.

Up ahead, Luke tapped his fingers on the armrest in a lively rhythm, following a melody only he could hear. His fiery red hair, bright blue eyes, and fair freckled skin made his restless energy even more noticeable.

Just behind him, Yuki sat in silence, her navy-blue dyed hair and deep dark eyes watching everything around her. Her pale skin glowed faintly under the soft lighting, and a subtle smile played on her lips — as if she were savoring the moment in her own quiet way.

The flight continued smoothly, giving the impression that this trip would be just another unforgettable experience. Minkyu kept recording, focused on capturing every detail, while Angel — though mildly annoyed — secretly appreciated being next to her best friend.

Little did they know, this journey would become something far beyond a simple adventure in Los Angeles.
