Chapter 125 - 《Naruto: The Ōtsutsuki Bloodline》Chapter 125: Merely Inferior Beings

The Mangekyō Sharingan, considered the pinnacle of the Sharingan's natural evolution, was a symbol of unparalleled power.

Yet, even with this formidable dojutsu, the three individuals present couldn't shake off the oppressive feeling emanating from the mysterious stranger before them.

The radiant, flowing light in his eyes seemed to press heavily on their chests, leaving them subtly breathless.

"What... is happening here?"

The same question surfaced in all three of their minds. For Obito Uchiha, in particular, his expression darkened.

Even when facing Nagato, he had never felt such an overwhelming sense of unease.

"Who are you, really?"

Obito demanded again, his voice low, as if trying to dispel the suffocating tension within him.

"There's no need to ask the same question twice. I heard you the first time."

Kitagawa Minamoto's tone remained calm and unhurried. He had already noticed these individuals long before their arrival.

The Tenseigan, an evolution of the Byakugan, naturally retained some of its predecessor's abilities—at least, that's how he perceived it.

Especially upon seeing Itachi Uchiha, he had a rough idea of why these people were here.

"The divine tools, huh?"

It seemed that his pursuit of the Nine-Tails' Chakra had inadvertently drawn them in.

"But this works out well. Meeting them now might save me some trouble later. The only concern is..."

Chakra consumption.

Having clashed with these individuals multiple times, he naturally worried about being recognized.

However, upon reflection, the sensory capabilities in the ninja world weren't as terrifying as one might imagine. Only techniques like the "Kagura Mind's Eye" could achieve such precision.

Of course, there was also Black Zetsu and White Zetsu—entities he would never forget—but he had ways to deal with them.

Whether it was through extensive use of ocular abilities, Yin Release and Yang Release, or the power of the "Giant Tenseigan," he had options.

"At worst, I'll 'switch accounts' and refrain from using these abilities recklessly."

While his thoughts wandered, his outward demeanor remained composed. He shook his head lightly and said,

"Who I am is none of your concern. My goal is simply to reclaim what is rightfully mine. Descendants of Indra, do you intend to stop me as well?"

"Indra?"

Kisame Hoshigaki appeared puzzled, glancing at the two Uchiha beside him. He couldn't make sense of the reference.

However, both Itachi and Obito's expressions darkened further. Having read the Uchiha clan's stone tablet, they understood the significance of "Indra."

This individual was no ordinary figure.

And...

"Their target is the Nine-Tails' Chakra?"

Both Itachi and Obito prepared for battle. Whether it was the mention of "Indra's descendants" or the Nine-Tails, they had no choice but to capture or eliminate this man.

"It seems you've made your decision. Well, that's fine by me."

Minamoto murmured softly. At the very least, dealing with them now would prevent future interference when he went after the divine tools.

"Attack!"

Obito wasted no time. Forming hand seals in an instant, his Mangekyō Sharingan activated with a slight motion.

"Fire Release: Blast Wave Wild Dance!"

Flames, distorted by spatial ripples, surged toward Minamoto at high speed. Yet, just as the flames were about to reach him—

Buzz—

An invisible Chakra pulse radiated outward, instantly shattering the distorted flames into scattered sparks.

Not a single ember touched him.

"What... is this?"

Obito's breath caught for a moment. This ability bore an uncanny resemblance to Nagato's powers.

"Your attack seems ineffective. Perhaps you'd like to try mine instead."

With that, Minamoto casually swung the black staff in his hand. In an instant, the debris from the collapsed temple around them was drawn toward him, hovering in the air.

The next moment, the massive chunks of rubble hurtled toward Obito and his companions!

"Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave!"

Seeing the incoming debris, Kisame's expression shifted. Leaping backward, he quickly formed hand seals.

A massive surge of water erupted, crashing against the rubble. At the same time, he formed another seal.

"Water Release: Great Shark Bullet Technique!"

A colossal shark-shaped water bullet emerged from the torrent, charging directly at Minamoto!

"You won't escape this time!"

Simultaneously, Obito's figure phased through space, launching a direct assault from Minamoto's flank.

Meanwhile, Itachi's figure appeared stealthily behind Minamoto, having concealed his presence and waited for the perfect opportunity.

"Such a well-coordinated attack."

Minamoto's tone remained indifferent, though inwardly, he couldn't help but critique.

"Itachi Uchiha... truly as cunning as ever."

He had already noticed Itachi using a clone to disguise himself while positioning his real body for a sneak attack.

"If not for my eyes, most people wouldn't stand a chance."

The coordination between these elite ninja was impressive. Even though each fought independently, they could execute seamless combinations when the opportunity arose.

"Fortunately, even without Lightning Release Chakra Mode or Sage Mode, my eyes can see everything clearly."

As the massive shark bullet approached, a blue barrier of light suddenly enveloped Minamoto. The moment the shark touched the barrier, it began to dissolve.

"What... what's happening to my technique?"

Kisame's expression changed. He immediately realized something was wrong.

Being closer, Obito also understood.

"Those eyes... do they possess abilities similar to the Rinnegan?"

Not only could they absorb attacks, but now, as Minamoto countered, Obito felt a gravitational force redirecting his assault toward Itachi!

"Damn it, this guy..."

Itachi's expression soured as he noticed Obito's attack veering toward him. He had no choice but to evade while accelerating his kunai strike at Minamoto.

"Hmm?"

Minamoto seemed to predict his movements. Without even moving his position, he sidestepped the kunai and swung his black staff.

Buzz—

The staff's swing coincided with Obito's attack. However, as Obito phased through Itachi's body, the staff bypassed him and struck Itachi directly.

Bang!

The deafening impact sent Itachi flying like a cannonball, crashing heavily into the ground. The earth cracked, and dust filled the air.

"Quick reflexes, I see."

Minamoto raised an eyebrow. Just before the impact, he noticed red Chakra emanating from Itachi's body.

"Susano'o, huh."

He wasn't surprised. After all, this wasn't the first time he'd forced Itachi to use Susano'o.

"Die!"

At that moment, Kisame emerged from the watery terrain, swinging Samehada at Minamoto's shadow.

"Too fast?"

Kisame missed his mark and attempted to retreat back into the water. But Minamoto's voice echoed behind him.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Buzz—

The black staff struck from behind, forcing Kisame to block with Samehada.

Boom!

The collision unleashed a shockwave, churning the water beneath them and shaking the ground.

Crack—

Even the terrain beneath the water began to fracture.

Kisame tried to hold his ground, but his expression quickly turned to shock.

"My Chakra... how does it taste?"

Minamoto's voice whispered in his ear. The next moment, Kisame felt a powerful force erupt behind him.

Bang!

Pain shot through his back as he was sent flying toward Itachi's direction.

"Hmph!"

At the last moment, Kisame managed to stabilize himself. Obito appeared beside him, while Itachi shakily stood up, red Chakra swirling around him.

"I must admit, you three are more interesting than the monks here."

Minamoto observed their battered states, then glanced at the sky.

After a brief pause, he shook his head with a faint smile.

"But that's all there is to it. Indra's eyes truly are versatile—one with spatial abilities, another capable of wielding Susano'o. But unfortunately..."

"Unfortunately?"

Obito gritted his teeth, his mind racing. There was something familiar about this man, yet he couldn't place it.

But that didn't matter. Defeating him was the priority!

"Who are you, and what is your purpose?"

"Don't use such an aggressive tone. The more you act like this, the weaker you appear."

Minamoto's voice remained light, almost conversational.

But gradually, his aura shifted, becoming increasingly oppressive.

"This is..."

The trio's expressions darkened further. Had this man been holding back all along?

"I didn't want to fight, but you leave me no choice."

Minamoto sighed, as if disappointed. The immense pressure emanating from him grew stronger.

"But it doesn't matter. After all, erasing one or two specks of dust makes no difference to me."

"You've been wanting to know who I am, haven't you?"

"Then remember this, you inferior beings who carry traces of Kaguya's bloodline."

"My name is..."

Before the words fully left his mouth, Minamoto vanished like a phantom, appearing instantly before the trio.

His glowing eyes, like starlit galaxies, seemed to pierce through them.

With a cold voice, he declared as his black staff swung forward:

"Ōtsutsuki Minamoto-shiki!"
