The night sky was clear, with the full moon hanging high.
Tonight's moon seemed especially bright, its silver light casting a melancholic glow over the land.
However, at this moment, Dilu and the monks who had just rushed out of their rooms were left stunned.
Most of the monks were confused and shaken, staring in disbelief at the shattered barrier and the mysterious figure floating in the air.
But Dilu's gaze was filled with danger and concern.
"Ōtsutsuki Minamoto-shiki?"
He had been active in the ninja world for many years, yet he had never heard of such a name.
Still, the presence of the person before him gave off an indescribable sense of danger!
"And he said the Nine-Tails' Chakra belongs to him. What on earth is going on?"
"Ah!"
Just as he was deep in thought, Kū suddenly let out a roar of pain. Chakra surged violently from his body, enveloping him in a red aura.
"Oh, what a strong reaction. Even more intense than what I saw with Naruto back then."
Kitagawa Minamoto raised an eyebrow at the sight. He had seen this before during Naruto's outburst.
But unlike the Nine-Tails, which retained its intelligence, the Chakra entity before him was purely feral, possessing no trace of rationality.
"Only raw instinct, huh?"
With that thought, Minamoto descended from the air. But before he could approach, Dilu stepped forward to block his path!
"Oh? It seems you're determined to stop me from reclaiming what's mine."
"I don't know who you are, nor do I know your true intentions."
Dilu's expression was grim as he shouted,
"But Kū is a member of the Fire Temple, and the thing inside him is extremely dangerous. No matter what, I won't let you succeed!"
"Everyone, I will handle him. Protect Kū at all costs and keep him safe!"
"Yes!"
The monks shouted in unison. Even if they disliked Kū, they immediately formed a protective barrier around him and moved him further away.
"Sigh, what a hassle."
Minamoto sighed softly, looking at the resolute Dilu before him. His tone carried a faint melancholy.
"Honestly, I don't want to fight, you know?"
As he spoke, his Chakra flared, and his eyes transformed into glowing blue streams of light.
Under the immense pressure of his Chakra, an invisible force seemed to weigh down on everyone present.
"What... what kind of monster is this?"
Dilu was no novice, yet he couldn't withstand the overwhelming energy emanating from Minamoto.
"Because..."
The gusts of Chakra swayed the surrounding trees, and Minamoto's voice echoed once more.
"It's hard to control power without crushing ants underfoot."
"Not good!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Dilu felt his body lose control.
An unseen force dragged him toward Minamoto!
"Dammit!"
Before he could react, he was already flung forward. Minamoto casually swung the black staff in his hand.
Bang!
With a muffled thud, Dilu was sent flying. Before he could land, an inexplicable repulsive force slammed him heavily into the ground, causing the earth beneath him to crack!
"What just happened?"
The surrounding monks were completely baffled. But some quick thinkers immediately shouted,
"Now's our chance! Use ninjutsu! Don't let him get close to the head monk!"
"Yes!"
The monks swiftly formed hand seals.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
"Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet!"
"Fire Release: Dragon Flame Bullet!"
"...!"
Countless ninjutsu techniques surged toward Minamoto. The sheer volume of attacks made him raise an eyebrow.
After a moment's thought, he calmly raised his right hand.
In an instant, a blue barrier of light appeared around him. The next moment, the ninjutsu attacks engulfed him entirely!
"Huh?"
"What is that?"
"What's going on?"
The explosions they had expected never came. Instead, as the attacks reached Minamoto, they began to disintegrate one by one.
The ninjutsu, shaped by Chakra, was completely absorbed by the glowing barrier surrounding Minamoto, leaving nothing behind.
"Impossible... how is this possible?!"
Dilu, who had struggled to his feet, stared in disbelief.
Ninjutsu was being absorbed directly?
"The Sealing Technique: Absorption Seal works better than I expected."
Minamoto lowered his hand, silently evaluating the ability he had just acquired.
"Though the absorption isn't very strong yet, it's fortunate the opponents here aren't too numerous or powerful. Otherwise, I might have embarrassed myself."
Since he had decided to use the identity of "Ōtsutsuki Minamoto-shiki," he needed to maintain the appropriate demeanor.
Among the figures he considered "most dignified," he wasn't sure if he measured up, but he could at least mimic their mannerisms.
Even if it felt a bit awkward to speak this way...
It was undeniably satisfying!
"Did you really think such methods could defeat me? How naive."
With one hand raised as if forming a seal, Minamoto's voice was clear and resonant.
"Perhaps you misunderstand me. Fundamentally, we are worlds apart. Allow me to demonstrate the gap between us."
As he spoke, an invisible force radiated outward, spreading rapidly in all directions.
The overwhelming Chakra was suffocating, and a sudden repulsive force erupted!
As the force intensified, the monks could no longer withstand it. In an instant, they and the surrounding buildings were flung away.
The once grand and solemn temple began to collapse, and even the ground started to cave in. Despair filled the hearts of the monks.
"Is this really human?"
Not only the monks but even Dilu was filled with doubt. As the head monk, he forced himself to stand, attempting to take action.
"Roar!"
However, before he could react, Kū let out a monstrous roar.
His body was now fully enveloped in Tailed Beast Chakra, transforming into Tailed Beast Mode. Four red tails swayed behind him.
His gaze was feral, devoid of any human emotion, replaced entirely by the instincts of a beast.
"This is bad... Kū... he's lost control!"
Dilu coughed up blood as the situation spiraled further out of control. He had no idea what to do.
The only silver lining was that "Ōtsutsuki Minamoto-shiki" had stopped, his attention now focused on the Tailed Beast-form Kū.
"Finally showing yourself. That makes things easier."
Minamoto observed the Nine-Tails' Chakra emanating from Kū, nodding slightly.
"My goal was always you. Why make things difficult for me? Such a waste of effort."
"Roar!"
The Nine-Tails' Chakra roared, its tails lashing out violently at Minamoto.
The ground shattered under its movements, and a wave of destruction spread outward.
"Everyone, retreat!"
Dilu knew this battle was beyond ordinary means. He shouted for the others to evacuate immediately.
Boom!
At that moment, the entire temple trembled once more.
The Tailed Beast-form Kū let out a pained howl, and a massive shockwave swept through the area, knocking Dilu off balance.
Looking up, he saw Kū's Chakra form slammed into the temple wall, causing it to collapse further.
But Kū quickly got back up, roaring once more before bolting out of the temple.
"Running... running away?"
Dilu had witnessed the destructive power of the Nine-Tails' Chakra before. He never expected that this man could force it into retreat so effortlessly.
"Running is only meaningful when there's no vast disparity in strength."
Minamoto's calm voice echoed again.
The next moment, with a flick of his hand, Kū's Chakra form froze mid-stride.
No matter how much it struggled, it was pulled back toward Minamoto, landing directly in front of him.
"When the gap is this wide, resistance is futile."
As Kū's Chakra form came to a halt before him, Minamoto's black staff pointed directly at its chest.
"You see, just like this, I can touch your heart."
"So stop struggling. It will end soon."
"What's happening over there?"
Below the Fire Temple, Obito Uchiha stared in disbelief at the distant scene.
"That Chakra... it's definitely the Nine-Tails! But... this isn't the full Nine-Tails?"
"That presence..."
Itachi Uchiha's expression darkened. He had witnessed the Nine-Tails' rampage before and was among the first to sense its presence.
That cold, murderous Chakra was unforgettable.
"Such unsettling Chakra. And it seems there's a battle going on."
Kisame Hoshigaki spoke softly.
"Should we go take a look, or avoid it?"
"We're going. That might be the Nine-Tails."
Obito's tone left no room for argument. His Mangekyō Sharingan began to spin, and the space around them distorted.
Itachi didn't resist, following Obito as they vanished in an instant.
The next moment, they appeared within the Fire Temple.
The once grand temple was now in ruins. The towering structures had collapsed, and the monks had long since evacuated.
Standing amidst the rubble was a man in a white robe and mask, exuding an otherworldly aura.
Before him lay a boy sprawled on the ground, black rods piercing the earth around him.
"That's..."
Obito's eyes widened in shock. He recognized those black rods, having learned about them from Madara Uchiha.
Seeing them now, he grew increasingly wary, knowing this opponent was no ordinary foe.
"More visitors?"
The man seemed unfazed by their arrival.
"I've been aware of you for a while. I was wondering when you'd show up. You didn't keep me waiting long."
"Who are you?"
Obito asked in a low voice, but Minamoto remained silent.
Slowly turning his head, his eyes—glowing with a radiant blue light, as if containing entire galaxies—came into view.
Those eyes seemed to have a hypnotic power, causing both Itachi and Obito to momentarily falter.
"What... kind of eyes are those?"
