Chapter : 19 : They Are Really Lucky To Have Each Other :

He really did not expect something like this from Liora .
In the original story it took her quite the long time to express her feelings to the hero even in the most indirect manner .
And as for a such intimate act....
Well you can already understand just how long it took her .

At this moment there was a small crowd of girls and boys standing around a single person .

At first she was trying to avoid him but overtime it seems that she started to form a bond .
Not only did she start to openly talk with the second prince but even some people saw them holding hands while walking in the corridor together .
Obviously many did not like it happily including Elera and her followers .
In fact many of them even went to confront Jenny on the matter and tried to tell her to stay away from the second prince .
They were not only her followers but also her close friends .
So their relationship went deeper than any master and subordinate relationship .
It was a relationship based on friendship so how could they let the matter that was causing so much pain to their friend go so easily .

And then just yesterday someone actually destroyed her books and notes .
Rumour spread that it was done by Elera and her followers which was actually not true .
While they did not like Jenny but they never acted too harshly towards her .
On the other hand there were many people who hated Jenny .
And it was actually the work of one of them .
But the second prince in his anger did not think to clarify the fact and immediately in front of everyone confronted Elera about the matter .
And he even asked her to apologize to Jenny .
This was obviously far too much for her to take .
Afterall she was the daughter of the Duke of the east and was trained as an proud and noble person .
So she will not boe her head when she had done nothing wrong not even infront of the second prince .
She even went as far as to investigate her followers to see if anyone of them had actually done it .
But the second Prince listen to her , hid own fiancee .

And the worst part was that due to the fact that the second prince was involved in the matter the others wanted to stay away from this trouble .
Although they hated the fact that a commoner girl was getting so close to the second prince they did not have the courage to speak that out loud in front of him .
' Why ? Why Aurelian ? What's so special about that girl ? Why can't you see how much I love you . '
This was really a frustrating situation because at the end of the day while she was aggrevated by the situation, there was nothing she could do .
After all the other side has not done anything wrong and you cannot tell the prince that he is not allowed to make friends that he likes .
And this was the dilemma .
' No ! I need to distract myself from all this thoughts . ' - she shook her head trying to clear out the negative thoughts .

Obviously the others in the room understood what she was trying to do .
And allthough they wanted to convince their lady to do something about the matter they simply choose to follow her wishes .
" Well my lady ! you see there was a small slip up accident yesterday where two sides were racing each other and accidentally slipped on the wet floor causing them to fall over a pool of mud . "
" Are you talking about that one ! "
" OMG ! that was so dramatic and afterwards both of them was scolded by professor Frost who found that they were actually bunking their class . "
" Poor fellows ! Not only did they fall down and embarrassed themselves but they also got got caught by the professor Frost . "
One after another the people in the room started to gossip about the incidents happening in the Academy trying to change the earlier somber mood .
Looking at this Elera couldn't help but form a small smile on her face as in this darkness at least she still had her friends .
There were not many of them but still they were there for her .
" Oh ! I also saw that Cian guy returning to the academy today . "
One of the girls in the room mentioned Cian's name attracting everyone's attention .
" Who are you talking about ? "
" It's Cian V Keolos! Don't you remember the boy from more than a little more than a week ago who caused the huge scene in the hallway . "
" Oh ! Yes ! yes ! that guy who fought with that idiotic brute Marus Baronet . "
Quickly everyone recognised Cian's name .
Even Elera Ros Thalric recognised who they were talking about .
A few days ago this young boy from their class was the headline of all the gossips for his heroic actions .
The boy belonged from a lower nobility coming from the eastern borderlands and to be honest nothing to talk about him at first .
However a few days ago he had saved a commoner girl who was being targeted by the young master of the Baronet family - Marus Baronet .
Even Elera felt disgusted at this Marus Baronet .
" Nothing but a scum ! "
His bad reputation was well known throughout the noble circle and if not for the fact that his family was powerful no one would give him any face .
So using his family reputation he after the not cause trouble .
But this time Marus was confronted and badly defeated by this Cian fellow and afterward he was punished by the academy .
So obviously the incident will catch wind of gossips .
After all how many times would you see someone standing up to a noble from the capital city just for a commoner girl .
