Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2 THE PRICE OF ONE MORE CHANCE

As the scene shifts, we see Sofi—her eyes slowly opening to a strange place. She is surrounded on all sides by flowers, arranged in a perfect circle. The light there is dim lavender, but even among the flowers, there are thick, thorny patches. The sky above is completely white—yet filled with a strange darkness. There is no sound, no sense of presence. It is as if this place is completely disconnected from everything.

Sofi herself feels detached—not just emotionally, but physically. She is no longer bound by pain or weakness. Even the smallest of wounds on her body have healed completely. Then, she hears a voice. It arrives not just with sound, but with a sensation—as if it brings with it a wave of power. The feeling is so overwhelming that Sofi can't help but crave it. It is calming her from within, like a child finding peace in its mother's arms, regardless of the storm outside.

The voice speaks again:

"Where did you go? I asked you something, didn't I?"

Confused, Sofi replies, "Who are you? Where am I?"

The voice responds with calm authority:

"You want to know who you are? But are you even worthy of knowing that?"

Sofi answers, "Yes, I'm Sofi… Fairy Sofi. My power has always challenged fate itself."

The voice laughs—not mockingly, but as if amused at a child's defiance. Then suddenly, Sofi's surroundings begin to shift. The calm, flower-covered land disappears. In its place appears a strange and vast space—an endless void. It seems her inner energy has awakened and, without her trying, formed a portal.

From that portal, a woman steps forth.

Every step she takes seems to claim the very space around her. Her presence is vast. Behind her, energy and color gather and take the shape of a throne. The entire space turns pure white.

Standing before Sofi is a stunning woman—dressed in a flowing black dress. She has long, black hair, a bright white face, and a flawless body that could enslave any soul. Her glowing red eyes suggest that nothing in the world holds meaning for her anymore.

"I am Solmira," she says. "A Supreme Ruler of a universe far greater than yours."

Her voice holds no pride—it is as if her power is so natural, she doesn't need to prove anything. Yet, there's a deep truth in her tone that makes Sofi believe every word.

Overwhelmed, Sofi lowers her head. "Forgive me… for my mistakes."

Solmira laughs softly. "There's no need for formalities now. I don't want to waste energy facing a warrior who died without even realizing her greatest threat was her own disciple."

These words hit Sofi like a blade. Solmira was right. It was her own foolishness, her blind trust, that led to her death—betrayed by the very ones she protected.

Solmira continues, "I've already seen your memories. Now, I'll simply erase them and begin reconstructing your soul."

Panicking, Sofi begs, "No! Please… Give me one more chance!"

Solmira raises an eyebrow. "Why? What do I get in return?"

Sofi is confused. "Return…?"

Solmira chuckles. "Nothing in this place—or any place—comes free. Just as death is necessary for life, one body must make way for another."

Sofi pleads, "You're a divine being… What can I offer you?"

Solmira's smile fades to seriousness. "Exactly. Why should I help someone who has nothing to offer me?"

Sofi says earnestly, "Please, just give me one chance. I promise—when the time comes, I'll fulfill any wish you ask of me."

A soft smile spreads across Solmira's face. "Very well. Prove it."

Suddenly, the space becomes dark—pitch black. When the darkness fades, Sofi finds herself face-to-face with a giant beast.

It has the body of a snake, the face of a dragon, and a ring of golden scales. The creature is massive—its single claw as large as Sofi herself.

Shaken, Sofi asks, "What… is this?"

Solmira replies, "This beast guards two pearls—one black, one white. If you defeat it, you must choose one."

She continues, "If you choose the black pearl, you will return to your old world—but without your memories.

If you choose the white pearl, you will be sent to a new world—a magical one, not based on cultivation, but equally powerful. And in that world, you'll keep all your memories."

Just then, a silver gate appears, behind which lies a room filled with powerful weapons.

Solmira says, "Go. Choose your weapon. Your fight begins now.
