Chapter 114 – Bonney's Worries
"Hahahaha, Joker… I didn't expect you had such a terrifying ability—turning people into toys!"
In King's Plateau, inside the royal palace, Jack—one of Kaidō's All‑Stars—burst into laughter as he watched the den‑den mushi live feed from the Corrida Colosseum. He stood and looked at Donquixote Doflamingo, who sat lounging in his chair opposite him.
"But if you do that," Jack chuckled, "your reputation in this country will be completely destroyed."
"It doesn't matter." Doflamingo's face darkened. "They're just foolish pawns. As long as we win this war, I can turn every last one of them into toys."
"All of them?" Jack's eyes widened, then he threw back his head and laughed.
"Hah! That's just like you, Joker. But if you do that, this entire country will end up as nothing but a land of toys."
"Fufufufu… as long as I win, none of that matters." Doflamingo's grin sharpened, but then his eyes narrowed and he abruptly stood, peering out over Dressrosa's streets.
"That brat… Fire Fist Ace… has finally arrived, hasn't he?"
"Oh? He's here already?" Jack cracked his neck, excitement flashing in his eyes.
"Good. I've been waiting far too long."

Corrida Colosseum – chaos in the arena
"Those villains from the Donquixote Family won't escape!"
"That's right! They turned us into toys—never again! Cut them down!"
The crowd was furious, a mob of newly restored humans storming toward Trebol.
"Sticky Chain — White Blade Frenzy!"
Trebol flung out globs of mucus that morphed into writhing sticky chains, each tip hardening into sharp white blades. He whipped them around like whips, cutting down dozens of attackers in moments. The survivors faltered, stunned by the sheer brutality.
"You fools… did you forget what real terror is?" Trebol sneered, his dark eyes glinting.
For a moment, fear settled over the mob. They suddenly remembered who he was—one of the Donquixote Family's top executives, a man with a bounty well over 200 million berries.
But among them were not just Dressrosa citizens—there were pirates, mercenaries, and criminal brokers who had been Sugar's victims as well, and their hatred burned hotter than fear.
"What are you afraid of?! He's just one man—we're thousands!"
"Exactly! We'll bury him under sheer numbers!"
"If we run, he'll turn us into toys again—I won't live like that!"
Roused by these cries, the crowd surged forward once more, weapons raised.
Trebol grimaced. Even with his power, protecting Sugar's unconscious body forced him on the defensive. Barrages of bullets and arrows forced him to swing his chains wildly just to hold them back.
---
"Vores… what now?" Yaqi's hands clenched as he watched Trebol.
Vores' expression hardened. "That girl's ability is far too dangerous. We cannot let her leave this place."
"You want to attack?" Skaar asked, stepping forward eagerly, shame from his earlier helplessness still burning in his chest.
But just as the three Spade Pirates prepared to join the fray, Jewelry Bonney suddenly stepped in front of them, raising her hand.
"Hold it. Don't act yet."
She turned to the Tontatta warriors beside her.
"Leo—take your men. Go help our allies at the underground trade port. Don't let any of the 'underworld' brokers slip in here."
Leo, captain of the Tontatta warriors, saluted firmly. "Understood! The warriors of the Tontatta Tribe will never let those villains enter the colosseum!"
He led his small army of tiny fighters, dashing off to reinforce the other entrances.
Bonney then faced Vores, Yaqi, and Skaar, her tone low and serious.
"On our way from Green Bit, we ran into more 'underworld' scum. Doflamingo is an underworld broker—if those people have come to Dressrosa in this chaos, they're not here for sightseeing."
She swept her gaze around the arena.
"Which means we might be facing unknown enemies hiding among the crowd. We need to conserve our strength, not waste it in needless fights."
Her eyes narrowed toward the mob surrounding Trebol.
"And don't fool yourselves—these people aren't exactly our allies. Most of them are Dressrosa's residents or soldiers. To them, we're just another band of pirates."
Her lips curled into a grim smile.
"When the Donquixote Family falls, don't be surprised if someone points them at us next."
Vores, Yaqi, and Skaar exchanged troubled looks. They could see her point—after all, they weren't here as saviors, and the people might easily turn on them once their immediate oppressors were gone.
Reluctantly, they lowered their weapons and held back.

Whup-whup-whup!
A loud whirring filled the sky. Everyone looked up to see a man spinning through the air, his head rotating like a helicopter rotor. Thick chains dangled from his body, and he wore a long coat emblazoned with the Donquixote Family's emblem.
On his back stood a woman in a maid's outfit, gripping a massive weapon, and beside her perched a youthful fish-man with tiny horns like a Dressrosa fighting fish, fins along his back, and a jaunty peaked cap.
"It's the Donquixote reinforcements!" someone shouted.
The helicopter‑like man was Buffalo, a Donquixote combatant.
The armed maid was Baby 5, another of Doflamingo's officers.
And the boyish fish‑man was Dellinger, one of the Young Executives, grinning like a shark as he surveyed the chaos below.
