Chapter 110: The SAD Factory Successfully Captured

"Ten Thousand Years of Snow!"

After defending against Kukai's slash, Monet immediately launched a counterattack.

She concealed herself in the swirling snow and rolled up a blizzard from the ground, aiming to bind Kukai and immobilize him with the ultra-low temperature of her Snow-Snow Fruit (Yuki Yuki no Mi) abilities.

"Snow Monster!"

Monet emerged from the snow, transforming into a monstrous snowbird with a ferocious expression. Her sharp-fanged beak lunged directly toward Kukai.

Zheng!

Kukai's blade flashed—cleanly splitting the snow monster in two. Though Monet's logia form allowed her to avoid physical injury, her expression darkened, and she quickly reverted to her human form, flapping her wings to ascend into the sky.

"Taiping Snow Feather Sword!"

Monet transformed each of her ice-feathered wings into fan-shaped blades, then flapped them. Countless circular snow-blades rained down like deadly petals.

Kukai's eyes narrowed, and flames flickered within them. Gripping his sword with both hands, crimson flames erupted from the jagged edge of his weapon.

"Sword of the Sky: Fourth Form – Flame Dragon!"

He swung.

A roaring dragon of flame burst forth, incinerating the falling snow blades and then surging upward—engulfing Monet in mid-air. Her flaming form was hurled backward, crashing through the roof of the SAD Factory.

Outside the factory, Yanliu and Fenamore stood in stunned silence as they saw the flame dragon pierce through the roof.

Yanliu exclaimed with awe, "Kukai's attacks keep getting flashier… With just a sword, he can launch flames like Captain Ace."

Fenamore didn't reply, but his grip on the naginata tightened unconsciously.

Above them, the flame dragon dissipated. Monet's severely burned body plummeted from the sky.

"Wait, isn't that a woman?" Yanliu muttered, startled. "Kukai really doesn't hold back, huh?"

"Are you an idiot?" Fenamore snapped, hitting Yanliu on the head with the back of his blade. "On the battlefield, even the prettiest face is still an enemy. Only fools pity the enemy mid-fight."

Rubbing his head, Yanliu said nothing more, although inwardly he still struggled with the cold-bloodedness of it all.

Despite her burns, Monet gritted her teeth and used her powers to regenerate her wings. Hovering in the sky, she glared at Kukai below.

She now knew she was no match for him.

But… the SAD Factory was too important. She couldn't simply retreat.

"Hey! Woman in the sky!" Yanliu shouted from below. "You should run for it while you still can!"

Monet looked in his direction and spotted not just Yanliu and Fenamore—but also Rao G and Senor Pink, who had already been defeated and lay unconscious.

Her expression hardened.

> "Even if I die… I'll take some of the enemy with me. For the Young Master…!"

With that final resolve, Monet dived sharply toward a specific building within the factory—the location of a self-destruct mechanism capable of leveling the entire facility.

Yes, she had chosen self-sacrifice—to detonate the SAD factory, and hopefully take Kukai, Yanliu, and Fenamore with her.

"Wait—what is she doing?!" Yanliu's gut twisted with dread.

"At this point, it doesn't matter," Fenamore said solemnly. "Because her opponent is Kukai—the man who soars through the sky."

Taka taka taka…!!

As he spoke, a figure launched into the sky from the shattered rooftop. Kukai, stepping through the air with Geppo (Moonwalk), soared toward Monet.

Though Moonwalk is a common technique among Navy elites, it was a rare skill among pirates. Within the Spade Pirates, Kukai alone had mastered it—earning him the nickname: "Sky Swordsman."

In a flash, Kukai caught up to Monet mid-dive, gripping his sword in reverse grip as he accelerated further.

"Sword of the Sky: Fifth Form – Blood Rose!"

Swish! Swish! Swish!

He vanished into a blur, slicing around Monet in a flurry of motion. His slashes carved through the air like blooming roses of blood.

As Kukai sheathed his sword mid-air, Monet's body collapsed from the sky—riddled with wounds—and crashed into the rubble below, her fate uncertain.

With her defeat, the battle for the SAD Factory was won.

But it wasn't over yet.

Kukai, Yanliu, and Fenamore had to hold the position until the broader war concluded.

Meanwhile – Dressrosa, Corrida Colosseum (Bullfighting Arena)

Dressrosa, the heart of the Donquixote Family, had long been the hub for their underground operations. Beneath the Corrida Colosseum lay an extensive black market dealing in illegal weapons, Devil Fruits, and research materials like SAD and SMILE.

Though Donquixote Doflamingo had temporarily shut down his underground empire due to the escalating war with the Spade Pirates, countless goods remained—drawing in scavengers eager to profit from the chaos.

Now, pirates, mercenaries, rogue marines, revolutionaries, and even agents of the World Government circled like vultures, each seeking to seize treasures from the hidden vaults.

The area was now under tight lockdown by the Donquixote executives:

Sugar and Trebol led the Hobby-Hobby Army.

Caesar Clown, Baby 5, Buffalo, and Dellinger guarded the deeper corridors.

Meanwhile, attackers were on their way:

From the Spade Pirates' side, Wores, Yaqi, and Skaar advanced toward the arena.

Elsewhere, Jewelry Bonney and Carols had successfully rallied the Tontatta Tribe, who were now racing toward the fight.

As all these forces converged, the Corrida Colosseum—above and below—was about to become a boiling cauldron of battle.

A super melee was imminent.
