Chapter 345: Shocking the Four Directions, Studying the Silver Tower!

Shhh! Shhh! Shhh!

Countless silver spatial blades sliced through the air. In the blink of an eye, the fleeing disciples of Evil Wind Cave were shredded to pieces. Flesh and bone filled the sky like a gruesome rain.

Some of them didn't even have time to scream before their bodies were torn apart.

"Brother Lin Fan, you're amazing!"

Mu Lingshan's eyes sparkled wide with admiration as she looked at the scene in awe.

Lin Fan smiled faintly. "You're not bad yourself."

"Hehe~"

Mu Lingshan giggled happily, then glanced toward the nearby Burning Heaven Cauldron. "I wonder how Brother Lin Dong is doing… Did he finish off that annoying guy?"

Just then, Lin Dong's figure emerged from within the cauldron.

"Brother Lin Dong! Did you get him?" Mu Lingshan rushed over excitedly.

Lin Dong nodded. "It's done."

"You got the item too?" Lin Fan asked casually.

"Yeah." Lin Dong nodded again. With a wave of his hand, a small silver tower appeared in his palm, which he then offered to Lin Fan.

"You keep it." Lin Fan shook his head and smiled. "Once we're somewhere safe, take some time to sense it properly. You might discover something."

Hearing this, Lin Dong returned the silver tower to his Qiankun bag. "What about the rest?"

"All taken care of," Lin Fan said with a slight nod, then turned and flew off into the distance.

Lin Dong and Mu Lingshan followed closely behind. In just a few breaths, the three had vanished into the dense mountain ranges nearby.

As their figures disappeared, silence returned to the battlefield.

If not for the carnage—the bloodied limbs and tattered remains—no one would have believed that a branch of Evil Wind Cave had been completely annihilated here.

A light breeze stirred.

Moments later, space shimmered atop a tall tree, and two figures emerged.

One was a man, the other a woman. The woman, clad in red, was none other than Tang Dongling of the Tianshang Pavilion.

The man appeared middle-aged, with hair of black and white, and eyes as deep as the sea. His mere presence distorted the space around him.

"Father, it looks like Lin Fan's group took the silver tower," Tang Dongling said softly, still a little surprised.

She had never expected Lin Fan to successfully wrest the tower from a Death Xuan Stage expert.

"They're impressive, all three of them," the man murmured, his gaze fixed on the direction the trio had flown. His eyes narrowed slightly.

"Especially that Lin Fan… He killed the Scorpion Demon Elder decisively and with precision. Such young talent… Evil Wind Cave is going to explode after this."

"But this all happened in Tianshang City," Tang Dongling said, frowning slightly. "Won't Evil Wind Cave drag us into it? With your strength, they should know you're aware of everything."

The man chuckled. "If they can't protect their treasures, that's their fault. Complaining to us won't help."

He paused, then added with a glint in his eye, "Besides… that little girl with them? She's from the Undying Whale Clan."

Tang Dongling gasped slightly. "The Undying Whale Clan?"

That adorable, innocent-looking girl had such an extraordinary background?

"As for the silver tower…" the man continued, "it's just one of three. The other two have already surfaced in different sea regions and are in the hands of other powers. Even if Lin Fan has one, how much he can gain from the inheritance inside depends on his own skill."

He sighed. "The inheritance's owner placed strict limitations. People at our level can't even get in. If not, I would've tried exploring that cave myself…"

With a wave of his sleeve, the two vanished again—leaving only a faint ripple in space behind.

At the same time, the other three decoy groups sent out by Evil Wind Cave had all been intercepted and attacked.

After intense battles, the various factions involved had grim expressions.

Not a single one of the decoy groups had the silver tower.

When Zhou Qian and Chen Ying returned and reported that the real tower had been with Xie Yan—and that he had been escorted by a Death Xuan expert—all forces rushed toward that location.

What they found, however, was a field littered with corpses and ruined terrain.

"Hiss… Who did this? So ruthless!"

"Everyone from Evil Wind Cave, aside from Xie Yan and that elder, are dead—and not even whole bodies remain!"

"Do they still have the silver tower?"

"Doubtful. Whoever did this had to be stronger than that elder. Otherwise, there's no way they could've pulled this off under his nose."

After a while, the stunned factions dispersed, each planning their own methods of investigation.

Elsewhere, what remained of Evil Wind Cave's forces regrouped—visibly shaken.

"Damn it! Who dared attack our people like this?!"

"Send word immediately. Get the higher-ups to send more men. We must find the killer!"

Above the vast blue sea, the sound of wind slicing the air echoed rapidly. Three figures—Lin Fan, Lin Dong, and Mu Lingshan—raced across the sky, leaving three deep trails in the ocean's surface.

"Everyone's searching for the silver tower. It won't be long before they realize it's with us," Lin Dong said, his brows furrowed in concern.

Not long after leaving the city, they could already sense waves of spiritual perception combing the area. It was clear that this search effort was not just Evil Wind Cave—many factions had joined in.

"What do we do now?" Mu Lingshan asked, blinking curiously.

Lin Fan replied calmly, "We find somewhere safe to hide. Lin Dong, try to sense the tower and see if there's anything useful hidden in it. We'll decide what to do after that."

"Got it," Lin Dong said seriously, nodding.

Mu Lingshan didn't object either.

The trio continued flying until they found a secluded stretch of sea. Lin Dong summoned the Burning Heaven Cauldron, which glowed red and opened up to allow them inside.

Moments later, the cauldron transformed into a streak of red light, plunging into the ocean—and vanished.

Not long after, several search parties arrived. They scoured the area, scanning the waves for any sign of the fugitives.

Finding nothing, they cursed and left.

Deep beneath the sea, the cauldron had shrunk to palm-size, nestled within a coral reef. Its glow was fully suppressed, making it nearly impossible to detect.

Inside the cauldron's inner space, Lin Dong sat cross-legged, focusing entirely on the silver tower before him.

"Take your time studying it," Lin Fan said with a chuckle, seeing how curious Lin Dong looked.

Mu Lingshan wandered around the red-tinted space, soon growing bored. "I'm gonna nap."

With that, she took out the Life and Death Coffin Lid, curled up on it like a cat, and quickly drifted off.

"Heh, don't mind her. You focus," Lin Fan said with a smile.

Lin Dong nodded, then turned his blazing gaze toward the silver tower in his hands.

Whatever secrets it held… they would uncover them soon.
