"Initially, everything seemed ordinary. Yet, cascade of questions began to flood my mind: Is love truly what everyone perceives it to be? Is it merely fleeting emotions, or does it delve deeper, more authentically? In this narrative, we shall uncover that love is not as simplistic as we often envision. It transcends the limitations of language and surpasses the intricate mental constructs we create. Within its realm, we may encounter moments of euphoria and periods of profound sorrow. Ultimately, however, love endures as the driving force that propels us onward."

Chapter 1 - "A Jealousy That Kills"

On that distant evening, as the soft light filtered through the glass windows of the party, Yona sat beside her husband, Marvin, her eyes scanning the ambiance with a keen vigilance. There were women, their attire barely concealing more than it revealed, flitting from one guest to another, their smiles and words as fleeting as the butterflies they resembled. Marvin conversed with them as if it were the most natural thing in the world, as if his words were mere empty vessels carrying nothing but passing pleasantries.

Yet, to Yona, those words were a slow poison, seeping into the depths of her heart and filling it with bitterness. Every word that passed Marvin's lips, every laugh he shared with those women, intensified her growing hatred for each passing moment. She saw in their eyes a betrayal she dared not voice, and her heart was consumed by a sense of helplessness, as if she were unable to cling to the remnants of their love. In that instant, the party became a battleground for her inner turmoil, where her heart waged a war between reason and emotion, trust and jealousy.

When Yona tried to open her heart to her husband, driven by the tears that burned her eyes, he shut the door in her face before she could utter a word. The word she needed more than anything at that moment was simply a reassurance from Marvin, a confirmation of her place in his heart. But instead, she found only neglect.

In the final moments of that emotionally charged night, Marvin turned his head away, unable to see what Yona was going through. He believed that his simple interactions with those women meant nothing, that his gestures were mere fleeting expressions. But in Yona's heart, that neglect was like a dagger, piercing her soul deeper with each passing day.

In a moment of pent-up anger, the words burst from her: "You don't understand, Marvin! You don't see how much I'm hurting! You ignore everything and don't care about what matters to me! Am I nothing to you?" His face was pale, devoid of expression, as if everything living within him had been extinguished. He couldn't answer. He couldn't even look into her eyes, those eyes that held years of love and sacrifice. "Perhaps it would be best if we went our separate ways," Yona said finally, in a sharp tone that conveyed more feelings of helplessness than anything else. "I can't live like this anymore. I won't be someone else to satisfy your ego." The words were like a tempest that toppled everything in its path. Yona retreated backward, her face clouded by words she couldn't express, and as she voiced her pain, her heart bled.

Yona returned home, her steps heavy with sorrow. Everything felt strange in that moment, as if the house was no longer a safe haven but a battlefield for her soul. She entered, her heart a tempest of worry, anger, and deep sadness, while Marvin trailed behind her, his steps equally heavy. There was nothing left to say or do; their conflict had reached its zenith, and each had to choose their own path.

Kevin, Kai, I'm going to the car, you need to come with me," Yona said in a dry tone, struggling to hold back her tears. But Marvin stood apart, his eyes filled with sorrow and pain. "We can still be together, Yona... don't leave me like this!" His voice was filled with sadness, but Yona couldn't stay in a place that had become so harsh. Her emotions were stronger than anything else, and after all those years of sacrifice and struggle, she had finally decided to leave. "No, Marvin... it's over. I need to be alone for a while. I need to be able to breathe without you." Her words were harsher than she intended, but they came out like daggers.

When Marvin realized she had made up her mind, he felt his heart shatter into pieces. "Alright, I'll take Kai with me," he said, trying to appear strong in front of her, even though his emotions were raging within him. And Marvin made a sudden decision. "The house will be yours, Yona. I'll go, but I'll leave you a place to live. I don't want you to be on the street." His words came out bitterly, as if he were making a great concession after losing everything else.

Yona felt his words like a knife to her heart. She was ready to leave, but the thought of him leaving her the house hurt more than she expected. However, she clung to the only thread she had left: her freedom of choice.

A brief silence followed, until the moment came for Marvin to say goodbye to his son. "Kevin... I think it's time. There will come a day when we meet again, but for now, we must part ways." Kevin looked at him, tears welling up in his eyes. "I don't want you to go, Dad." Kevin's words were broken, and his voice was filled with worry. But Marvin, despite his torn emotions, took a deep breath and added in a weak voice, "Take care of yourself, Kevin, please."

Then Marvin left the house, got into the car, and left everything behind. As he drove, his heart shattered further with every mile he put between himself and his family. As soon as he closed the door behind him, tears streamed down his face, as if his sorrow was too vast to contain. He was fighting himself to stay strong for Kai, but his heart was suffering the greatest loss: Yona, the woman he loved truly, and whom he could no longer keep.

Meanwhile, Yona went into her room and closed the door behind her. She stood there, trying to calm herself after the internal struggle that had consumed her. Her tears flowed uncontrollably, as if her heart could not stop grieving. "Why does everything have to be this way? Why do I have to feel this pain?" she wondered aloud. But deep down, there was a sense of liberation. Despite the pain, she knew she had chosen the right path.
