"Good luck trying to find me, bastard. I'm masking my energy signature to make sure I can get revenge for what you did to me in the charity match."

Either it's using some kind of dampening tech; however, these are expensive, so the most likely scenario is that he is using something that is releasing a large amount of energy to mask his own.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Unlikely. While it's true that the jumpgate releases a massive amount of energy when it's active, in its dormant state, like now, it doesn't produce anywhere near enough.]
"Can you pinpoint his location and determine who or what it is?" Adam asked.
[[Negative, there is an abnormal amount of radiation being released from an area near the gate which is interfering with sensors, I can't even determine what is causing the radiation leak.]]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Well, that explains it. The missiles were probably only detected after clearing the radiation or coming close enough that the radiation didn't mask them any longer.]

"Radiation? Why didn't you warn me earlier?" Adam asked.

"Bah, they can just build a new one," Tephe replied.
"Why does that voice sound familiar?" Adam mumbled more to himself than anyone else.

To put it simply, a Nagareen can recover from almost any injury in a very short period of time, as long as their brain or heart is not destroyed.
Chances are, the beam saber hit Krumzaxl; however, it missed his brain and heart, which allowed him to escape, most likely in his escape pod after they stopped paying attention to his mech and thus fully recovered.]
