I've finally lost it.
A rising online rumor has affected our wine sales, and then there's my resort's acting CEO behaving like some spoiled brat on the side. Yet, the only thing that managed to make me tired today was a call from Leilani's dad telling me he wants my banking details so he can pay me back for switching my mother-in-law's rooms.
Of course, I tried refusing his offer, claiming son-in-law duties, but then he hit me with the "it's not an outsider's job to take care of family." Long story short, he won, and I'm starting to understand what Leilani means when she says he has split personality syndrome.
I mean, the last time I remember talking to him, he looked so pleased with me marrying his daughter that he called me his son—but I woke up a stranger today.
Such a twisted man. I think I'm starting to hate him—a little. He is after all, the man behind my wife's birth, and for that reason alone he has my respect, but it's limited—very.
