After Aoki fainted, the boulders barely containing Yūichirō Hyakuya and Abaddon crumbled, revealing both figures. Yūichirō Hyakuya, freed, walked towards Aoki and Shinoa Hīragi.
After glancing at them, he moved towards Abaddon.
Abaddon unleashed another torrent of black energy, but Yūichirō Hyakuya nimbly dodged it. He approached Abaddon, running from its feet to its head, then leaped into the air. A lightning bolt struck Abaddon, shattering its form into a giant salt statue.
Abaddon's colossal body exploded, the shockwave clearing the thick clouds above it, leaving behind a spectacular cloud of dust.
Kureto Hīragi, however, felt no awe. He was furious. Yūichirō Hyakuya's defeat of Abaddon had ruined his plan to annihilate the vampires, fueling his rage. He drew his sword and charged at Yūichirō Hyakuya.
But Yūichirō Hyakuya, having defeated Abaddon, far surpassed Kureto Hīragi in strength. Within a few exchanges, Kureto Hīragi was at a disadvantage, eventually sent flying by Yūichirō Hyakuya.
"Ah, Yūichirō Hyakuya, you're quite ferocious now," Guren Ichinose, possessed by a demon, approached, his face devoid of fear. "Aoki's down. All that remains is defeating you."
But Yūichirō Hyakuya didn't recognize Guren Ichinose. "Ugly humans..."
As Yūichirō Hyakuya grasped his weapon's hilt, Asuramaru emerged from behind him.
"I'm so happy, Yūichirō Hyakuya. In the end, you still need me. But I'm sorry; to subdue that fellow, this is necessary."
Asuramaru's words were followed by the growth of two demonic horns on Yūichirō Hyakuya's head, his eyes transforming into demonic eyes similar to Guren Ichinose's. Then, he collapsed, motionless.
Yoichi Saotome and the others rushed forward to prevent Guren Ichinose from killing Yūichirō Hyakuya, as did Mikaela Hyakuya, who was with Krul Tepes.
But as Mikaela Hyakuya moved to save Yūichirō Hyakuya, Krul Tepes pulled him back. Mikaela noticed a figure descending from the sky—Crowley Eusford, the thirteenth progenitor.
Krul Tepes delivered a spinning kick, shattering Crowley Eusford's sword-wielding arm, then jumped behind him, strangling him.
"You're finished," Krul Tepes declared as Crowley Eusford's body fell to the ground.
Just as Krul Tepes thought it was over, Ferid Bathory appeared behind her. "Too hasty, Your Majesty. You didn't use your beautiful mind."
He bit into Krul Tepes' shoulder, rendering her helpless.
"Krul!" Mikaela Hyakuya moved to save his mother.
"Don't come!" Krul Tepes stopped him. "Damn it! Go! Save Yūichirō Hyakuya! Don't let him fall into the humans' hands!"
Mikaela Hyakuya hesitated for a second, then chose to save Yūichirō Hyakuya.
After Mikaela Hyakuya left, Krul Tepes, drained of blood by Ferid Bathory, fell unconscious, unceremoniously dumped onto the cold ground.
Crowley Eusford, supposedly killed by Krul Tepes, slowly rose, adjusting his head. Turning to Ferid Bathory, he said, "Good morning. Wow, amazing, Ferid-kun. You actually defeated the Queen. Impossible...but it seems to be true."
Crowley Eusford was astonished by Ferid Bathory's victory over Krul Tepes. Krul Tepes could easily defeat them both; even together, they wouldn't stand a chance. Yet, Ferid Bathory had won—unbelievable.
"I think you could offer more praise," Ferid Bathory said with a shameless grin.
"But more importantly, I should hear your objective," Crowley Eusford said, wanting to know Ferid Bathory's intentions, both out of genuine curiosity and because he was under Aoki's Sharingan genjutsu, passively seeking the answer.
Ferid Bathory raised Krul Tepes' body, addressing the vampires. "Vampires, I have discovered Krul Tepes's grave betrayal—participation in the fallen angel research. Therefore, I, Ferid Bathory, the seventh progenitor, assume her position and issue my next command."
"Kill all humans present!"
Meanwhile, Guren Ichinose approached the unconscious Yūichirō Hyakuya. Shinoa Hīragi stood before him.
Her proximity to Aoki had placed her nearby.
"Oh, you're alright, Shinoa. We can't waste time. Eliminate him," Guren Ichinose commanded Shinoa Hīragi. "Though, considering my earlier 'family' talk, you won't kill him, will you? Then I'll do it myself."
Guren Ichinose reached for his sword.
"No!" Shinoa Hīragi shouted. "Lieutenant Colonel, I always respected you—or rather, you're not Lieutenant Colonel Guren Ichinose, but my sister, Mahiru Hīragi. But no matter who you are, I won't let you hurt my comrades!"
Yoichi Saotome and the others arrived. Shiho Kimizuki, separately, found Aoki, carrying the unconscious Yūichirō Hyakuya towards a distant location.
Shinoa Hīragi, realizing they couldn't stay, swung her scythe, unleashing a black mist monster.
Guren Ichinose cleaved the monster in two. When he looked again, Shinoa Hīragi and the others, carrying the unconscious Aoki and Yūichirō Hyakuya, had already gained some distance.
"Stop them!" Kureto Hīragi pushed through the crowd, ordering everyone to prevent their escape.
Aoi Sangū suddenly warned, "Sir Kureto, they've arrived!"
Kureto Hīragi looked—the vampires were surging towards them.
Kureto Hīragi reluctantly ordered a counter-attack against the vampires. He lacked the resources to pursue Shinoa Hīragi and the others, letting them escape.
