Chapter 12 - Mysterious Elias von Shade?

Chapter 12: Mysterious Elias von Shade?

However, before Victor could get any reactions from her, he noticed something else: a woman dressed in well-fitted medical maid attire.

Now seeing her walk past Mirae as she gave her a slight bow, she was about to walk past him, so instead of waiting for Mirae, he called out to her.

He had quite extensive knowledge of English and literature, so he believed that even if he met the Royal Family, he could hold a conversation with them in his premium English.

'I know a bit about how Elias should have behaved. He was a lustful and arrogant brat.'

Victor didn't believe he would be able to do the lustful part, but he was confident in the arrogant part.

He looked directly at the maid's eyes with his cold eyes and said.

"Hey you there, come here"

Mirae, who was walking a few meters ahead, hearing Elias's words, questioned if he really had been hiding his personality or not, but she didn't bother to watch the drama and left. Her vow ceremony was coming. She had to be as prepared as possible.

'Same as ever' that was her last thoughts

The maid approached Elias with an anxious expression on her face. She had heard about the rumors. She feared that her time had come.

'Her majesty's rules about not indulging in any physical activity until they have reached adulthood or taken their first vow, but it doesn't stop young master from humiliating maids using his power'

She knew she had the worst luck out of all, as the young master had just turned 18 yesterday, which meant it wouldn't be just a simple humiliation for her. She knew it would happen sooner or later since she worked in the house of lust. She was ready for it, but she feared it wouldn't be just indulging in physical pleasure.

The rumors from a year back when a maid was caught crying after coming out of Elias's room were still known to everyone in the house, and the thing that he wasn't allowed to have any maid by Matriarch herself proved that rumor to be true.

'If it's just indulging in pleasure and satisfying his physical needs, I don't mind it. No matter how his personality is, young master Elias is a descendant of lust. He is very attractive. It would be her honor, but I only fear he would torture me with his twisted personality.

But she knew she didn't have the right to refuse in that matter.

"What is it, young master Elias? Can I help you with something?" The anxiousness on her face was quite visible.

Victor felt quite disgusted by how she acted in front of him, as it proved that his reputation was really not good, but it didn't matter to him, as he was going to change his reputation slowly.

He didn't beat around the bush and ordered her. He also noticed how contrasting her behavior was in front of Mirae.

"You accompany me to my room"

The maid's body shivered slightly hearing what young master Elias had said. She knew his first prey was really her. It did give a strange sense of accomplishment, while she still feared his methods behind closed doors.

She was much more powerful than him, but that didn't give her the right to resist him.

'I just hope he doesn't torture me'

'If it's just satisfying his needs, I would be honored, but...'

"Follow me, young master Elias." The maid started leading Elias toward his room.

Victor didn't know how his words came out to her right now. He only wanted to go to a private place where he would deal with the transparent floating screen in front of him.

[Ding!]

[God of Entertainment has given you two lucky spins]

[Do you wish to proceed right now]

[Yes/No]

His room wasn't far away. The second room that came in the hallway was his. He saw the maid open the door for him. He entered the room. He could see the maid was entering after him.

He stopped her quickly with his cold voice.

"Hey, your job is done now. Now get lost!"

He felt repulsed by what was going through her mind when she was entering his room and more so by the body that had caused such a misunderstanding.

However, he was really relieved that he had transmigrated as a man, not a woman.

The maid had a blank look on her face as the white luxurious gate in front of her slammed shut.

Bam!

It didn't hit her as she was quick enough to back away, but she remembered the emotionless look on young master Elias's face when he told her to get lost. She could see the disgust in his eyes.

She questioned if she wasn't attractive enough to young master Elias to consider her as his first prey. The disgust in his eyes told her he didn't want her.

'Why! Why is that? I am clearly more attractive than the other maid who came crying out of his room a year back'

'So how is it that he doesn't want me!'

A small doubt arose in her mind about what had really happened inside his room a year ago which made the maid come crying out of his room.

Was it really caused by his twisted and lustful nature, or was there more to it than just the rumors?

She knew she wouldn't be able to find that maid, as she had already left the house after the incident. No one knew what happened inside the room, as she wouldn't share it for fear that if she had tarnished the name of a member of House Shade, her fate would be worse than death.

Now she really wanted young master Elias to invite her inside his room. Fulfilling his needs, she would do it in a heartbeat, as he really was attractive, but more than that, she wanted to know more about the mysterious young master Elias who had more to him than what met the eye.

Elias von Shade/Victor had now entered his room.

The room of Elias von Shade was spacious and elegant, filled with dark, refined beauty. A large four-poster bed with deep crimson sheets and black velvet curtains stood at the center. The walls were made of polished black stone, reflecting the soft glow of crystal lamps mounted in silver frames.

A tall bookshelf covered one side of the room, filled with old books and scrolls, their spines gilded with silver and gold. Near the window, a sleek black desk held neatly arranged ink, parchment, and a single sealed letter. The floor was covered with a rich carpet stitched in deep violet and silver patterns.

A grand window, covered with thick dark drapes, allowed moonlight to shine through when drawn back, casting a gentle glow across the room. Every piece of furniture was finely crafted—sharp, clean, and beautiful in a cold, noble way.
