“Do not mention such fanciful thoughts to Noa,” Kyle warned sternly.
Miu, however, remained undeterred. “Noa might already know, Mister. She’s a little… out of it right now, though.”
His words deepened the frown on Kyle’s face. How could she already be aware? He’d been mustering all of his energy into keeping his emotions locked tightly to his chest. The mention of her current melancholy stirred his concern as well.
“Did something occur whilst you were reclaiming her body? Is that what caused her current mood?” Kyle asked carefully. He did not wish to pry, but if something had happened to cause Noa’s current state, then he could not let it pass.
Miu confessed, “I’m not really sure what caused it.”
