Iriana Leonard
My father is Kyle Leonard, the brother of the current Duke Leonard—or, as he insists I call him, Grandpa—and the Chief of the Something-Security Bureau of the Laurent Empire. Basically, he is a super smart detective who is in charge of a lot of people. These days, he has been thinking really hard about whether to accept a promotion.
“Desk jobs are rather dull. If I am working, I would much rather be in the field,” he told me with a weary sigh. “Please do not tell your mother or uncle what I just said.”
I nodded as seriously as I could, trying to mimic the way my father looked when he listened to my mother. Her name is Noa Leonard, but before she married my father, she went by the name Noa Park. She is the only dragon master in this world and a special advisor to the Ministry of Magic—although recently, she had been offered a promotion by His Majesty the Emperor himself. While I’m not really sure why, my mother didn’t seem too happy about the offer.
