“Well, th-that is… Two years ago, I visited Baroness Aiselle’s mansion, and sh-she had collapsed—and Minister Rossinell was there too!” Renia stuttered out.
Miu hummed as he sorted through her blubbering explanation. It appeared Eleanora had been one of the clients of the Voltaire Estate, and Renia had gone to her mansion that night to renew their contract. Due to rather unfortunate timing, she’d stumbled across Eleanora’s vacant body in time to see a bloodied Minister Rossinell attempting to leave the scene. Fearing for her life, she had promised to do anything he asked. Unable to leave the witness behind, he’d then dragged her here to the Harelle Workers’ Hotel.
