After helping Asia carry all her things to the guest room and making sure she was settled, I finally returned to my room.
I shut the door behind me, collapsed face-first onto my bed, and let out a long, exhausted sigh.
"Ahh... sweet, well-deserved rest..."
My body ached from the morning training, the emotional rollercoaster of Asia moving in, and the sheer awkwardness of watching my parents pretend like this was a totally normal day. I was mentally and physically drained. My muscles were sore, my soul was screaming, and my libido was confused.
I let my eyes flutter shut. For a moment, the world was quiet.
Then—
TAP.
Tap. Tap.
"...?"
I opened one eye and turned my head toward the window.
A shadow moved behind the curtain. My breath caught.
Someone was on the balcony.
I bolted upright, my hand already moving to summon a boost from my Sacred Gear—just in case. But then the window slid open with a soft *click*, and a familiar figure stepped inside like she owned the place.
Long dark-purple hair. Cold, mature beauty. That trademark confident smirk.
"...Kalawarna?"
She looked the same as I remembered—stunning in a way that made my chest tighten.
Her tight-fitting outfit was partially unzipped at the front, the evening breeze brushing past her hair as she stepped inside like a phantom from my memories.
"Yo, Issei. Been a while."
I sat up completely.
"Kalawarna… What are you doing here?! Wait, how did you find me?!" I asked.
"It wasn't hard. I just followed you after you rescued Asia." Kalawarna said.
"So why are you only coming now."
Kalawarna stepped further into the room, her heels silent against the floor. She didn't answer right away. Her eyes wandered, tracing the posters on the walls, the cluttered desk, the open bento box I forgot to throw away.
A faint smile touched her lips, but it didn't reach her eyes.
"I waited because I wasn't sure if you'd want to see me," she finally said. "After everything that happened… after what I was part of… I figured you'd moved on. Or that you'd kill me on sight."
"So why now?" I asked.
"Because I miss you. And I don't have anywhere to go."
The room fell silent after that. The kind of silence that carried weight. A heaviness that sat between us, thick and pressing. I looked at her, really looked. Not just at her figure or the way the moonlight hit her skin, but at her eyes—lonely, tired, but honest.
I opened my mouth to say something, but—
*Knock knock knock.*
The sudden sound of knuckles against the door nearly made both of us jump.
Kalawarna instinctively stepped back, her wings flickering into view for just a second before she reigned them in. My body tensed, already bracing for the worst.
"Issei-san?" came Asia's gentle voice from the hallway. "Are you alright? Why is your door closed?"
"I'm… masturbating," I said, deadpan.
Oh, what the hell, did I say.
There was a pause on the other side of the door. A long one.
I could practically feel Asia short-circuiting.
"Eh?! Ah, um…! I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to—! I-I'll just… please forget I knocked!!"
Her hurried footsteps scurried down the hallway like a frightened deer.
I stood there, hand still resting on the doorknob, wondering what the hell I just said.
Behind me, a muffled snort broke the silence.
I turned slowly to see Kalawarna with a hand covering her mouth, shoulders trembling.
"You didn't even hesitate," she said between restrained laughs. "Not a single second of doubt. You just went for it."
I groaned, dragging my hand down my face.
"Well, what else was I supposed to say? That there's a supposedly-dead Fallen Angel in my room who broke in through the window because she missed me?"
She shrugged, still smiling. "It'd be more believable than the 'midnight solo session' excuse."
"I highly doubt that."
She walked toward me again, that amused smirk lingering on her face.
I stepped away from the door and motioned toward the bed. "You can stay here tonight. I'll sleep on the floor."
Kalawarna gave me a flat look. "Really? After everything? After that night?"
I opened my mouth, but she beat me to it, "You know you want it."
"Yeah, I didn't know about that." I said.
She came close to me. "At least this one is honest." She said as touched my dick.
My little brother seems ready to conquer.
