It feels like the week passed by far too quickly. Jaxon and I were throwing our bags in the back of his jeep, getting ready for our trip ahead. The summit is being held in the Blood Moon packs territory. I'm feeling a little nervous because this pack is the strongest in the country. The Alpha of the pack has placed first in the Alpha games for the past six years. I believe his name is Ryder, I've never met him personally, but Tristan and Damien have. The Trip from New Orleans to Jackson Mississippi should only take us about two and a half hours. During our drive we listened to music and sang along, we made idle chit chat and just enjoyed each other's company. Our journey came to an end when we reached Blood Moon's territory. We sat in a line of cars waiting to get to the pack house, the Alpha's from all around are here for the summit. It's our turn as we dive to the front of the pack house, it's absolutely amazing, it's more like a Beverly Hills mansion. We get out and just look at each other, it's 10 times bigger than our pack house. " Wow" Jax whispered as we walked up the stairs. Waiting at the top was a very tall man standing at about 6 foot seven with short dark blonde hair, blue eyes, sharp nose, strong jaw, and goddess the size of this man's arms. I couldn't keep my eyes off him, " Now that's a snack" I heard my wolf say in awe. I didn't answer her, but I knew I blushed at her remark. As we reached the top of the stairs he took my hand and introduced himself " I'm Alpha Ryder Nelson and this is my Beta Chase Martin." I nodded in recognition, and answered" I'm Tessa Ardelean and this is my Gamma Jaxon Patricks from the Silvermyst Pack." The Alpha smiled " Welcome to Blood Moon, I hope you have a comfortable stay here." He called for a couple Omegas to help us to our room. He whispered something to them as they walked past him, but I couldn't hear what was said.
" Please follow me Miss Tessa." a cute auburn haired omega with brown eyes said. " Just call me Tess." I smiled at her. "My name is Courtney, if you need anything during your stay I would be the one to ask for." she replied. " Thank you." I replied gratefully as she opened the door to my room. The room was enormous, fit for a queen, it was done in vanilla and mauve decor, a king size poster bed, lavish carpet, and adjoining bathroom, everything was beautiful. " This is the Alpha's floor Tess, your gamma also has a room on this floor, we were running out of rooms so the Alpha permitted for the two of you to stay on his private floor." she smiled sheepishly.
" I truly appreciate everything, this room is far beyond what I was expecting. I must thank the Alpha when I see him." I voiced with gratitude. She nodded and left the room closing the door. I walked over to the spacious area to sit while I gazed out the window, the pack lands were breathtaking. I looked down to the front of this mansion to see Alpha Ryder and his Beta welcoming the last of the guests. I can't stop staring at this man, he's charming and terrifying at the same time. They turn to walk in and he stops and looks up directly at me, we just stare at each other a little longer than I wanted. I smile at him and nod stepping away from the window. I lay on the bed trying to understand why I feel such a pull to him, my wolf hums in appreciation of him. I have a fated mate, how can my mind and body react to another? What is this Alpha doing to me without even trying?
