My classes had finished and I was on my way to my locker. I took my bag and made my way out.
"Aera, my love" My bestie came out of nowhere and spoke, wrapping her arms around me.
"Yes, my prince charming, is there something going on?" I said, playing along.
"Mon amour, I waited so long for you" she giggled.
"Met your sister today" I say tossing my bag over my shoulder.
"Min-soo?"
"Yea"
"What about her?" she asked me curiously.
"Nothing special, she was just scared about the girl who beat up 'the overlords'"
"Oooh about that, yea you're quite famous at the moment"
"Do they know it's me"
"Well not everyone but yea some people for sure or maybe more cause of your name on top of that board today"
"Who are they"
"Who the boys, oh, one of them is Son Hyeon son of Son Sobong and the other one is Park-"
"Wait…. Son Sobong, our principal?" I interrupted her, surprised.
"Yea"
Damn. I hope this doesn't bring any trouble to me. Well why am I getting scared of him? After that fight, I'm sure he won't even move my shoe without my permission.
"Oh"
"As I was saying the other one is Park Haneul, son of Park ji-woon"
"Park Jiwoon, hmm, I've heard that name before"
"Of Course you have, everyone has. He's a famous businessman after all" she told me.
My mind suddenly went to Mrs. Park after she told me that Park ji-woon is a famous businessman. I remember meeting her son once, though I don't remember anything about him. I was only two at that time.
But as long as I remember, Mr. Park was not just any but one of the top business men in Korea. So it may or may not be him. But what's his son doing here then. Yea it can't be him. Why am I even thinking about him anyway? I hate my mind sometimes.
A car honk escaped me from my thoughts. I didn't even realize that I had reached the parking lot. I looked around to find the car which was honking. Just then another honk was made. I looked in the direction to find Insu sitting in the car.
"Hey Insu, what are you doing here?" I asked him, surprised.
"Here to pick you up"
"Let me guess my stupid brothers are busy again" I say dryly.
"Yeah.. kinda, get in, we're getting late" he said laughing.
"Late for what? " I asked him, getting in the car.
"Late for food"
As much of a foodie as I was, Insu was double that. He loved eating as much as I did and this made us the perfect eating duo.
"Which restaurant are we going to" I asked excitedly.
"You'll know" he glanced at me teasingly.
We reached the restaurant, no way this was my favorite restaurant, how did he know or maybe we both had the same favs, but of course it was entirely crowded. Thankfully Insu had already made the reservation so it didn't take us long to get seated.
Insu ordered a big classic burger with extra cheese and hot chocolate. Me, on the other hand, ordered cheese tteokbokki with ramen and chocolate milkshake. Well it was obvious I'll be eating his food as well. Within fifteen minutes our food was served.
"You better leave that burger for me" I told him. Looking straight dead in the eye and he knew when I did that I wasn't near to joke with him.
"Stealing my food again, Aera come on I'm already paying" he said sounding annoyed.
"You can have some of mine but I need that burger"
"Deal?"
"Deal"
And that's how we both ended up, sharing our food. It's the best feeling ever having to eat two different types at the same time. I love it.

"I have something to discuss with you" Seojin said.
We all siblings have been seated here for the last twenty minutes and this old man wasn't speaking a thing.
"Speak up then it's been twenty minutes and you're parroting the same line again and again" Suho said, getting frustrated.
"Promise me you won't get mad" My elder brother said, looking everywhere but at us.
"Hyung-"
"Oppa speak up before I break all those beautiful teeth of yours" I spoke, cutting Suho's sentence, my patience was wearing thin and the last thing anyone would want to do is to push me over the edge.
"OK uhm, so..."
"Stop parroting-!" I was cut in between my sentence when Suho held me tightly trying to stop me from punching my anger and patience in my brother's face.
"Hyung this time I won't be stopping her, speak up" Suho said, his eyes blazing pent up frustration.
After sitting a whole minute there when he said nothing I literally wanted to kill him.
"Oppa! spe-"
"Mrs. Park is coming!" he suddenly blurted out.
"What" I whisper, time seemed to stand still. His words hung heavy in the air, a sharp contrast to the anger I was feeling mere moments ago. I could feel the color draining from my face as shock and confusion washed over me.
We both looked at him, eyes widening to their fullest extent and completely frozen in our places. None of us dared to move a single muscle. Taking a sharp intake I spoke.
"Why- Why is she coming?" I say my voice betraying the emotions I was feeling.
"You didn't even ask if she was coming here or just in Korea" Seojin said agitated.
Both my siblings knew that when I got angry, things were about to go downhill.
"You wouldn't care to tell us if she wouldn't have been coming here, brother. Tell her she's not welcomed here" words came out of my mouth like spitting fire .
"Aera things don't work this way" Seojin said.
Suho, who had been silent all this time glanced at me. He was clearly processing things as I was.
"Then how do they work? Care tell me" I say standing up.
"You have to sort them out" Seojin said, his voice rising a little.
The heck was he getting mad at?. Me not letting that monster in or that I wasn't listening to him.
"Well I don't want to sort things out" I say my voice tone matching his.
"Aera act like a grown up, not like a kid" Seojin says, his voice going back to neutral.
"Don't teach me how to act as a grown up!. That woman left us, there's nothing left now. She didn't even visit us afterwards, let alone make a call" I hissed.
"Hyung, Aera is right, she totally abandoned us not caring about the fact that we were just kids who had just lost their parents" Suho suddenly spoke, his voice barely containing emotions.
"She would have visited us at least once in a year but she didn't care!" I say spreading my arms in exaggeration.
"I know, I know, she still managed the company, Aera" Seojin said.
"She only cared about the money and nothing else!!!" I say letting my anger out, he'd be dreaming if he thinks I'll let her come here.
"Aera, you're opening your mouth a little too much now" Seojin said, getting angry.
"You're getting mad at your sister for that woman!?" I asked in disbelief.
"Aera!" He yelled out my name.
"Fine then brother. Bring her in and you won't see me again!" I yelled, a red spark coming through my eyes.
I wasn't in the mood to focus on it now, I stormed off, slamming my room's door shut. What was that, I clearly saw something flash red before my eyes.
