Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Almost without hesitation.

"Read the entry!"

[Koby's Entries: Sacrificial Harvest (Seven-colored), Two Hundred Times Effort (Gold), Conqueror's Haki (Gold – Unawakened), Living Saint (Blue), Cowardly as a Mouse (Green)]

Even with prior speculation, Jon couldn't help but gape.

One seven-colored, two gold?

No, does that damn Monkey D. Luffy even get this kind of treatment?

Not many in the protagonist's crew have a seven-colored entry, right?!

Seriously…

"Phew~ It'll be mine soon, I'm not envious at all!"

Jon flashed a brilliant smile. For a moment, looking at this clown scorned by thousands, he actually found him a little cute.

Immediately, he began to examine the entry descriptions.

[Cowardly as a Mouse (Green): The pinnacle of the timid race, severely lacking in courage, will flee in panic when faced with great danger.]

[Living Saint (Blue): I am for everyone, even if everyone is not for me; pity the righteous hearts of the world.]

[Conqueror's Haki (Gold – Unawakened): The king's aptitude among millions, an innate entry. Upon awakening, it can create pressure that makes weaker individuals faint, and can also be developed into offensive techniques.]

[Two Hundred Times Effort (Gold): I have no talent, it's all thanks to effort! Daily effort yields two hundred times the results of others!]

[Sacrificial Harvest (Seven-colored): When surrounding allied powerhouses are severely injured or perish, 50% of their luck and strength are fed back to oneself, with no side effects!]

"!!!"

After reading the entry descriptions, Jon suddenly felt that the protagonist of One Piece might not be Luffy.

Yeah, this is seriously not much worse than Monkey D. Luffy!

Oda's darlings in the Kozuki family don't even have settings as good as this deserter king!

No wonder Garp was severely injured on Skull Island; this kid's strength instantly soared.

Sacrificial Harvest… even for a transmigrator, it sounds absurd.

And Two Hundred Times Effort, 'I have no talent?' Is that something a human could come up with?

Jon silently cursed Oda's entire family; he felt that guy had incorporated his ancestors into One Piece.

But complaints aside.

For him, the stronger Koby's entries, the better, of course.

"Plunder!"

Without any hesitation, Jon directly absorbed Koby's entries.

Plundering others' entries allows for selection, not necessarily absorbing all of them.

The next moment, the light screen beside Koby dimmed, and Jon's own attribute panel glowed brightly.

Success!

[Jon's Entries: Beast King (Blue), Conqueror's Haki (Gold – Unawakened), Two Hundred Times Effort (Gold), Sacrificial Harvest (Seven-colored)]

A complete makeover!

Jon's eyes shone brightly. The moment he confirmed that the seven-colored and dual gold entries had moved to his own attribute panel, an uncontrollable surge of ecstasy filled his heart.

"Two years, Koby, do you know how I spent the two years before I met you?"

"Huh? Answer me!"

Jon kicked Koby into the sea, overflowing with gratitude for him.

Isn't there a saying—

One must repay their benefactor with death!

Painful roars drowned out Jon's mad laughter, which was comparable to that of Sasuke.

All worries vanished, Jon felt utterly refreshed. Even his gaze towards the Lord of the Coast softened.

"Hey, Jon, are you alright? Where's that kid?"

Linby's urgent shouts suddenly came from above, bringing Jon back to his senses.

His expression showed three parts tragedy, three parts self-reproach, and four parts anger.

"I'm fine, but that child fell into the sea. It's all because of this monster!"

Lightning flashed across his face, revealing a pie chart of emotions.

Linby also felt regret for the child, but he was already thankful that Jon was unharmed. Whether that kid lived or died had nothing to do with him.

"If you're fine, come up quickly, Jon. Let's get out of here."

He partially furled the sail to make it easier for Jon to board the ship.

Jon grabbed the rope ladder and climbed up. Just as he reached the railing, he suddenly felt a surging chill behind him, and a strong stench of fish filled his nostrils.

"Roar!!!"

It was the roar of the Lord of the Coast, right behind him.

Jon climbed onto the railing and turned around, just in time to see its crimson pupils roll upwards.

"Still conscious? You're really tough."

Jon grinned, staring at the huge creature, his expression fearless: "If you don't understand reason, I'll teach you physics!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he directly removed the safety pin from the grenades hanging on his body and threw them over as the final straws that broke the camel's back.

Boom boom boom!

Linby and the others nearby watched the violent scene, their hearts clenching tightly.

It exploded for three or four waves.

The Lord of the Coast finally rolled its eyes, its roar, capable of tearing the sky, abruptly ceased, and its massive body crashed backward.

"Plunder."

[Lord of the Coast Entry: Bit Emperor Shanks, scared Pirate King Nika! Can significantly upgrade the Beast King entry.]

[Plunder successful, Beast King (Blue) → Beast King (Purple)]

[Beast King (Purple): Awakened Hentai Entry.]

[Beast King (Hentai): The aggression of a beast, both he and it have grown stronger.]

The light screen, visible only to Jon, appeared.

He quietly looked down.

Holy crap, I really struck gold!

...

Watching the Lord of the Coast sink into the sea, Jon finally leaped down from the railing.

A group of people gathered around, exhilarated, looking at Jon as if he were a monster.

"Little brother Jon, I'm impressed."

Linby gave a thumbs-up, holding his pipe, his expression full of emotion.

"I'm sorry for treating you like a child earlier. You're truly hidden, and you saved everyone on this ship. I don't know how to thank you."

That desperate situation had made even an old captain like him, who had sailed the seas for so long, give up hope.

He never expected to be saved by a young man, and with such thunderous methods.

He sincerely admired this child, and even his way of addressing him became much more serious.

"No need for thanks, Uncle Linby."

Jon smiled and waved his hand: "Those cannonballs were from your ship. At most, we just helped each other."

"Oh~ You can't say that, little brother Jon!"

"Yeah, you saved our lives, this favor must be credited to you."

"You're a savior in our eyes."

"Exactly, when we get back, I'll hang your picture on the wall and pray to you every day!"

Everyone started chattering excitedly. Someone mumbled, "Should we celebrate?", and then a chorus of agreement broke out.

After that, it converged into a unified voice:

"Party! Party!"

"Alright!" Linby also got excited and burst into hearty laughter: "All the money from this delivery will be used for expenses. Tonight, I'm treating, everyone drink until you drop!"

"Whoa—Boss is generous!"

The crew scattered, some moving drinks, some cutting meat, all the tables were brought onto the deck and pushed together…

Judging by the scene, it seemed they were planning to drink from this afternoon until tomorrow morning.

Although Jon liked this atmosphere, he couldn't help but feel a bit disoriented.

Is this right?

Just now, the Lord of the Coast used the cargo ship as a toy and continuously rammed it. Shouldn't they first check if the ship's hull was leaking?

It's truly the world of pirates, isn't it? Parties are the most important thing?
