Seeing the sudden rebellion of the dinosaur army, Kikyo frowned slightly, but quickly composed himself.
A flash of violet light flickered in his right eye.
"You didn't think I wouldn't be prepared for this trick, did you?"
The Shura Box on his chest sprang fully open. "Then let me show you what true Cloud Power is!"
In the next instant, Kikyo's body was completely engulfed in blinding purple light, streaking across the night sky like a shooting star.
The dinosaur army, which had been poised to turn on him, suddenly changed course. As if drawn by some invisible force, they surged toward the ball of violet light, merging seamlessly into Kikyo's form.
As the brilliance faded, a transformed Kikyo emerged before the crowd—his appearance utterly changed. Four jet-like wings of purple energy now extended from his back, each flap tearing at the fabric of space and radiating an awe-inspiring force.
From the fins along his spine erupted a dazzling shower of golden scale-dust, gushing into the air like a volcanic blast. Where the golden powder fell, even the raging ocean waves were frozen into crystal, demonstrating an overwhelming power beyond imagination.
His long hair, now free from gravity's grip, flowed endlessly like a cascading galaxy—dazzling and magnificent. A sea of clouds gathered beneath his feet, and above it, countless dinosaurs assembled in formation, awaiting orders like a divine army.
"This is my ultimate form—General Form!" Kikyo's voice echoed thunderously across the sky.
Before he could finish, the ground beneath Arnold's feet cracked. Without warning, a massive dinosaur lunged upward and snapped its jaws at him.
But that wasn't all.
Dozens of dinosaur heads erupted from all directions, converging on Arnold.
"Victory in battle belongs to the one who sees ten or twenty steps ahead of his enemy," Kikyo's voice whispered like death's breath in Arnold's ear. "Goodbye, Vongola Cloud Guardian."
To ensure Arnold's annihilation, Kikyo summoned every last ounce of power in his body, commanding the entire dinosaur legion to descend upon his opponent like a tidal wave.
Under Kikyo's command, the dinosaurs swept forth like a devastating storm, engulfing Arnold in a chaotic, brutal assault.
The bridge beneath them crumbled under the relentless onslaught. Smoke and debris filled the air.
Kikyo remained cautious, scanning the ruins to confirm the kill. After all, his previous failure against Mukuro had taught him not to trust appearances.
"What?" Kikyo's heart trembled.
A wave of dread overcame him—an instinctual warning that death was drawing near.
Arnold appeared in a flash at the junction of Kikyo's spine, his eyes like blades.
"Flaw," he whispered coldly.
Before Kikyo could react, the sharp tip of Arnold's handcuffs pierced into the vulnerable gap between his armored scales. A torrent of Cloud Flames surged through Kikyo's nervous system, rushing toward his brain and triggering a wave of blinding pain.
Kikyo's expression twisted. He thrashed, trying to throw Arnold off, but the man was already gone, vanishing into the swirling smoke like a ghost.
Still wincing in agony, Kikyo looked around—but Arnold was nowhere to be found.
"Hmph… childish trickery!" Kikyo spat, masking his unease with forced bravado.
But just then, a terrifying burst of force exploded from his spine.
His body fragmented—split into nine independently moving Spinosauruses, each pulsing with intense Cloud energy.
Controlled remotely, these creatures launched a coordinated assault, targeting the last place Arnold had been seen.
Three of them charged straight into the chains Arnold had left behind, triggering their proliferative nature. In moments, a prison of diamond scale-dust materialized, locking Arnold inside.
Yet Arnold remained calm.
He closed his eyes, inhaled deeply, and then…
A low, ancient hum resonated from his handcuffs, like the groan of a forgotten god.
Hell's Kitchen trembled.
From deep beneath the city, an enormous Cloud Flame surged upward, forming a counterclockwise vortex—an eye of the storm—beneath Arnold's feet. The aura it released was so intense that even Kikyo felt his pulse falter.
"This farce ends now," Arnold's voice echoed, rising from the heart of the storm like a sovereign god.
Seeing this, Kikyo clenched his teeth. He gathered his fragmented forms into a single, colossal Spinosaurus—the apex of his Shura Box transformation.
"Shura Box: Complete Form!"
But before he could unleash his final devouring move, he noticed something horrifying—his Cloud thorns were being drawn away, pulled irresistibly into the eye of the storm.
Arnold was absorbing all the Cloud energy from the battlefield.
"No… No! That's impossible! My Shura Box—" Kikyo's scream was cut short as the box on his chest shattered with a deafening crack.
The metal he had devoured, the seawater, even his Cloud Flames—everything reversed and condensed into countless miniature handcuffs. They pierced out from within his own body, binding him from the inside out.
Arnold floated serenely from the heart of the storm, and behind him appeared the glowing emblem of the First Vongola—radiant, absolute.
"A true Cloud doesn't need to borrow from anything," Arnold declared.
With a flick of his wrist, his handcuffs tore through space and time—locking onto the very first Cloud thorn Kikyo had released minutes ago.
And with that, the chain of causality collapsed.
Every proliferated dinosaur lost cohesion, disintegrating in a thunderous chain reaction.
From a height of eighty meters, Kikyo plummeted.
Despair and fear consumed him.
But before he hit the ground, a chain snagged his body, suspending him midair.
Arnold hovered above like a divine judge.
"Your 'Clouds' are nothing more than gluttonous illusions."
Blood sprayed from Kikyo's lips. He tried to retaliate, but even his fingers wouldn't move.
Invisible chains had already infiltrated every cell of his body—binding him fully to Arnold's will.
Arnold calmly returned the handcuffs to his waist, his voice as steady as the sky: "Clouds don't stop for anyone. Your so-called proliferation... is just a child's game with mud."
As the last trace of Cloud Flames dissipated, silence fell.
Only the shattered bridge bore witness to the cataclysmic clash that had taken place.
From a distance, Alex Ray had observed it all.
The battles of the six guardians had ended.
Now, only one battlefield remained—and it was the most decisive of them all:
Byakuran vs. Vongola
