The Continental Hell's Kitchen
"I have signed you up for this Hell's Kitchen race. If you win as part of the High Table, I will recommend you to be the High Table's judge and help you find the murderer who killed your brother."
"Of course, it doesn't matter if you don't win. I will also introduce you to our boss, Alex Ray. Don't worry, Shaw," Winston comforted Deckard Shaw, standing before him.
Although Winston now helps Alex Ray manage the High Table in Hell's Kitchen and the Continental Hotel, he cannot make decisions directly without going through Alex.
The bald man in front of him named Deckard Shaw was his longtime friend. This time, he came asking either Winston or Alex for help in finding the murderer of his brother, Owen Shaw.
"Yes, this is a good opportunity for you to join us in Hell's Kitchen this time. You won't have to hide from place to place anymore. Look at me, Kevin, and John Wick — how comfortable we are now after joining Hell's Kitchen," Marcus persuaded his old friend Deckard Shaw.
Deckard Shaw was a High Table assassin like them, and they had been old friends for many years. He knew Deckard's driving skills were far superior to anyone else present.
This Hell's Kitchen competition was a perfect chance to showcase their strength.
To be honest, seeing the persuasion from his two good friends moved Deckard Shaw.
After so many years as a killer, he was already exhausted. He had originally planned to retire from the underworld after avenging his brother's death.
"I haven't decided yet where I'm going to stay after I retire. After all, few people in our line of work have a good ending in their later years."
It just so happened these old friends invited him warmly, and Deckard had seen they were living stable lives in Hell's Kitchen.
He'd also heard that the boss of Hell's Kitchen was very protective, so this place was indeed a good choice.

I believe that through this event, the outside world will see that we mutants don't just use our powers to destroy — we can also use them for good," Professor Charles Xavier said confidently, his eyes sweeping over every X-Men member, searching for someone willing to stand.
Captain Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, followed closely behind, frowning as he pondered the details of the event. "Indeed, the rules restrict us from using overly powerful mutant abilities, but Alex Ray did not explicitly forbid using our powers.
Therefore, we need to select those that both comply with the rules and demonstrate our strength to participate."
Hank McCoy, the Beast, interrupted: "In a racing competition, the car is key. I'll build the vehicles and make adjustments tailored to the racers' abilities."
There was a brief silence as Cyclops asked who was willing to compete.
Everyone looked at each other hesitantly. It was difficult to use their powers without risking harm.
Ororo Munroe, Storm, spoke first: "Jean and I won't participate. Our powers are too strong. If we lose control, it could unpredictably affect the race."
Cyclops nodded, understanding.
He knew Storm and Jean Grey's abilities were not suitable for this occasion. If they participated, probably no cars would remain in the race.
Just as everyone fell silent, a voice came from outside the door: "Looks like it was right not to join your X-Men. No one is willing to participate, so I will join for you."
Everyone turned to see John Allerdyce — Pyro — who had been missing for some time.
"You traitor, what are you doing back here?" Iceman was the first to break the silence, his eyes flashing coldly as if ready to freeze Pyro on the spot.
If anyone in the X-Men cared the most for Pyro, it was undoubtedly Bobby Drake — Iceman. They were friendly rivals during their time at the school, friends and opponents with a complicated relationship.
So what Iceman couldn't accept was Pyro's betrayal of Professor X by joining Magneto's camp.
Although the others didn't question Pyro directly like Iceman, their expressions showed clear displeasure with the traitor's return.
Pyro noticed the tension but walked quietly toward Professor Xavier, unaffected.
"Well, I invited him here," Professor X said suddenly, surprising the X-Men present.
"Now, there is no Brotherhood of Mutants or X Academy. We are all mutants — one family," Charles Xavier said, looking at Pyro with hope.
Then, he turned to Iceman seriously: "This time, John and Derek will compete in the race. We don't ask you to win outright, but the world must see that mutants are not just destructive — we have value."
John Allerdyce is Pyro, and Derek is Iceman's real name.
Upon hearing he had to work with the traitor Pyro, Iceman's displeasure was clear: "Professor, can I refuse? I don't want to compete with this guy. Can we change his spot?"
His voice was full of dissatisfaction and resistance, clearly unwilling to team with Pyro.
Before Professor X could answer, Pyro sneered, glancing at Iceman with a mocking smile.
"Why? Are you scared? Afraid I'll hold you back?"
His tone was provocative and sarcastic, disdainful of Iceman's refusal.
Iceman felt anger surge.
His eyes widened, fists clenched, ready to fight Pyro at any moment.
"Not possible! Don't say I'll hold you back!"
"Let me tell you, the competition isn't easy. Pietro is participating too."
"What? That's so unfair!"
Of course, not only mutants would race; Boss Dominic Toretto would also compete.
"My family, it's time to assemble!"
