I escorted the foreign representatives to meeting area in the back of town hall while sending a thought communication to everyone else to meet me there. Once we all arrived, Erald, Gazel, and Rimuru followed as well with the ladder looking worn out. It was say to I was glad to avoid the lecture from both of them
Rimuru explained our reincarnation and everything that led up to now. I was practically bored for the entirety of it and sit silently and made it looked like I was listening to all of it but really, I had Episode 25 of the Trash Taste podcast on full volume for the entirety of it.
I lowered it when it seemed like they were beginning their talks about the Western Holy Church
Rimuru: So I really have no chance of negotiating with them, huh? If the Western Holy Church designates us as enemies of God, Hinata will go along with that, right?
Fuze: that would be the case

Kaijuno: if how you describe her is correct, then we should stall a confrontation against her as much as we can get away with. Sure the Western Holy Church would likely send more troops as soon as possible, but the likelihood of Hinata stepping in is low if she is already satisfied. But if she's aware that you did infact survived, then I could see her taking action to finish the job
Rimuru: You're sure it would be necessary, I would still rather try to reason with her
Kaijuno: Given how you describe your previous interaction, I wouldn't put it pass her to still not be in a reasoning mood. Plus it's better safe to keep your best cards hidden.

Rimuru: Time for some real buisness. This is how we're going to make our announcement to the public. It'll be known that Kaijuno is a demon lord but we won't reveal how he awakened. We'll say that the greedy king of Falmuth sent an army to attack tempest, began a war but lost.
But rather than being wiped out by a new demon lord, they'll be more prone to believe that the army was naturally defeated in battle. Following the battle, the massive number of casualties in the Falmuth army was enough to break Veldora's seal, reviving him
Then Youm and Kaijuno worked together at the cost of many sacrifices, convinced Veldora, and made a deal by calming his rage and honoring him as a guardian. This will give some merit for Kaijuno while also framing Falmuth as the bad guys
Gazel: I could see this being the most preferable choice to make, people would be more willing to believe that the might of the catastrophe class storm dragon ended the war between two nations.
Veldora: ah, I see you're someone with wise judgement if you're able to recognize that I'm a genius
RImuru: He never called you a genius
Erald: I'm in favor of this as well. It's better to have this scenerio than admit that my daughter was the reason a new demon lord had been made
Rimuru: This comes with multiple advantages too. The other demon lord who would be wary would only consider Veldora to be the only threat while keeping the other nations from considering to attack if we are allies with Veldora.
Kaijuno: In addition, they'll think that I'm the only one around the strength of a demon lord instead of knowing that Rimuru is similar in strength to me
Rimuru: Yup,You cool with it Veldora? This plan does saddle a lot on you
Veldora: It's not biggie honestly. Such trivial things as reputation never concerned me, plus you're my little brother, you can use the name of the storm dragon as you wish

Kaijuno:....Personally, I kinda want to take the credit of killing thousands of soldiers

After the mild scolding, I simply kept my mouth shut till Erald ask me directly
Erald: I have reached my conclusion, but before I give it. I wished to ask one more question

I grabbed my mask and slightly moved it off of my face but still keeping it covered while still having my Monster King Haki being released. Rimuru following by releasing his Demon Lord Haki

Satisfied with our responses, Erald bow down followed by Kaval's party. He humbly requested to establish a diplomatic relationship between Sarion and Tempest to which we accepted. With this, the current meeting was slowly drawn to a close

Ramiris: Seriously!? Why are you so calm for such a serious situation! Carrion was defeated by Milim and now Clayman's troops are ordered to deploy to Eurazania!
Kaijuno: I'm pretty much jaded at this point. Plus it's not like what he's saying is even true
