The majority of our investigators have recently slowed down due to waning morale of the overall investigation
There has been growing frustration amongst from not just the ones directly working on the investigation but also from the family of the missing who haven't recieved updates of their loved ones whereabouts
Becoming desperate to scrape up anything, the investigation team did some backtracking on other incidents within thr surrounding areas of the reported disappearances
Many weren't exactly helpful and connections at best were loose and overall was not of any help
The only one that could spark some sort of hint is with what happened in the domain of Guratol which was reported by the Count himself
The main witness this information was provided from was Instructor Tiss of the Freedom Academy
From her account of the events that have transpired, Class S of the Freedom Academy was the first to arrive at the Count's residency
Given that it will still be a while til the other classes arrive, Class S was permitted to scout out into the cave that was meant to the second half of their expedition. However, they discovered something that was not intended to by neither the academy nor the Count
The Count's head butler was sent ahead to inspect make adjustments to the cave layout priorly was seen to be associated with a small group of bandits
While the altercation with the bandits weren't anything to make not of, what made this report hold any significant was in regards to the butler
When it was just the butler that was left to be dealt with is when events took an eerie turn.
Suddenly the butler's body morphed and twisted. Initially, everyone present had guessed it was a phantom
But that wasn't the case
What came was a creature that was completely unfamiliar and otherworldly, fascinating and chilling to the spine
What was most likely the head didn't really have much of a face, instead it was just it's skin torn and stretched apart into multiple holes
The body as a whole was best to be described as a mix of a squid, a rabbit, and a horse. A fusion of anatomy that shouldn't be possible to function
Such an eerie creature sounds too surreal to be believable. Despite it's inhumane appearance, it still had enough intelligence to communicate verbally
It claimed to be part of a fierce race called the "cryptids", seemed to be something completely different from that of phantoms and demons
Not much details about how the cryptid was dealt with, it was just mainly that one of the students possessed a spirit of light that was strong enough to slay the monster
It was also mentioned that Tiss herself appeared to have a distressed expression by the time the class was able to return to the Count's residency. But if what she said about the horrors she encountered was true, then it would make sense she would remain uneasy.
There was question if this involved anything unholy as the idea of a race called "cryptids" isn't really that well known and the closest thing to imagine bringing such despair would be a very powerful demon. But despite the sickening appearance, Tiss insisted there was absolutely no involvement of the demonic
On a side note for documentation, while they weren't present during the encounter, the homeroom teacher for Class S was Rimuru Tempest who is said to be one the Twin Rulers of the Jura Tempest Federation
Overall, this has been the main case we suspect to hold connections to the current one as it went ultimately unresolved. There would be suspect given both hold many unanswered questions
But as of very recently, we finally made a shred of progress
Team Light Speed, who we requested to assist us not long ago were able to finally uncover a likely hideout that wasn't completely emptied
A couple of items and materials were taken in and analyzed, but even that ended up being more complicated than originally thought
The text and literature we were able to get a hold of wasn't in any language that we can initially recognize
So we had to bring in many scholars to help decipher and translate the text
So far they have only managed to decode and translate part of a word that was written frequently in all of the avaliable texts
I-V-A, Iva
These are the first three letters that have been translated but the entire word itself has yet to be
With this new discovery, morale is finally starting to recover thanks to the efforts of Team Light Speed and praises have been spoken especially for their leader, Masayuki
Given this new hope, where there was once bleakness, now there was a sense of certainty that the case can be resolved
It feels like it's only a matter of time for us to uncover even more about what is going on

In the middle of the meeting of demon lords, about raven black slime is seen spinning around in swift speed, evading the destroyer who silently erupting in anger
Guy Crimson questions Kaijuno's choice to immediately run off only for Ramiris to brush it off as Milim is a massive powerhouse that Kaijuno wouldn't have been expected to fend off directly
For the likes of Velzard, the sight still comes off as disappointing
Ramiris: Knowing Milim, I can't exactly blame him
For the other participants, Clayman made snide remarks about the slime, proclaiming that Kaijuno was an arrogant fool afterall
Lavandra: It's quite the other way around, I'll show exactly why you're too weak to hold the title of a demon lord
This remark only enraged the white suit clown as expected
During this, the beasts of both parties kept biting into the air right in front of eachother like fat angry corgis
Soon after showing off their fangs, both nine tails and Willfla summoned familiars to help them out. Willfla specifically summoned star wolves but instead of a dark purple, both were pitch black
Kaijuno:(hm? Do those summoned Tempest Wolves look a bit more different from canon?)
Yagami:(Answer, Due to the effects of the harvest festival and individual Willfla's affinity of dark magic over wind magic, individual Willfla branched away from the Tempest Star Wolf race into a Tempest Eclipse Wolf.
Which lead to individual Willfla receiving the Unique Skill Giga Alpha which allows individual Willfla to summon shadow familiars made out of dark magic while also enhancing his size beyond what was set previously)
Kaijuno: (I thought my eyes were playing tricks when Willfla's fur looked more of a darker tone than previously. Although I guess it explains the shining cresent moon on his head instead of a star like rang-)
While in the middle of my inner detour, Milim tried to get the jump on me, to which I narrowly evade
Kaijuno:(OH RIGHT! I'm still trying to survive milim, I just got to wait til Beretta comes by to help Lavandra right?)
Unfortunately Yagami had some grim news to say
Yagami: (Notice, individual Beretta is likely to not assist Kaijuno)
Kaijuno: (WHAT! why not!?)
Yagami: (Individual Beretta holds loyalty towards individual Rimuru as their summoner who Kaijuno is not)
Kaijuno: (Damn! Well that just sets back what's expected. Is there any way to recover from this?)
Yagami: (Answer, straightforward option A use Unique Skill Tempest Bond to summon individual Veldora to fight individual Milim on your behalf)
Kaijuno: (what is the other option?)
Veldora Pov
Veldora: (This isn't good, even though he awakened as a demon lord, Kaijuno doesn't stand a chance against Milim. I don't know why milim is sticking to this facade but if she continues, it will spell bad news for Kaijuno.
Should I ask Guy to let me in? I might have been more easier if not that I have to interact with Velzard as well. Guy is one thing, but it's always eggshells with her no matter what!
But Kaijuno clearly can't handle Milim.... actually his Tempest Bond skill seems to work similarly to Rimuru's powers too, to a lesser extent. I can just use that to teleport next to him within the barrier
It can save me the trouble of doing any chatting with her, but that could risk pissing her off even more.
Both are highly risky, the last thing I want is for Kaijuno to get himself killed. But anything with Velzard is also the last thing I want as well. DAMN! Which is the least costly option!?)
This contemplating made the storm dragon struggle within. But the sight of his new family struggling to evade death tipped over his resolve
Veldora:(...screw it! Act now, try to apologize later)
With his decision settled, the otaku dragon crossed through the soul corrider to summon himself in aid of the dodging short stack
Kaijuno Pov
Suddenly to the suprise of most, Veldora appeared within the barrier who was frantically about to interfere with the battle between me and Milim just when I happened to suddenly ask an unexpected question
Kaijuno: hmmmmmm, now what do we have here?
This odd question made the destructive beings pause at where this is going as brought out something I had in stomach
Kaijuno: Right here on this floor, a plate of good and zesty lemon meringue pie
Veldora questioned what I was going with this while Milim flinched at the sight of this sweet pastry
Kaijuno: Ya know, this is actually one of the most recent makings of Tempest's desserts. Smooth, creamy, AND giving a good sweet kick of flavor. Not many have been fortunate to try this treat out
For the first time throughout this whole ordeal, Milim's facade was slipping
Kaijuno: Now, what's on my hand?... a rock, hard and stiff. Nothing pleasant at all. Just a rock that I'm currently hold right above the tasty looking pie. If gravity serves me correctly, this rock would fall down, probably ruining the heavenly pastry. It suuuure sounds like such a shame of that were to occur wouldn't it?
When I said this, Milim's pupils shrunk at what I hinted
All while I placed the pie on the ground with the hand I held the rock right above it
As casually I could make it, I simply said "oops" as I let the rock drop downward towards the pie
Thankfully, as I hoped milim swooped in by the last minute to save her damsel in sweetness
To which said sweet damsel was immediately getting devoured by their savior
Kaijuno: soooooo, you sure were taking your sweet time weren't ya?
Only now realizing her cover was blown, milim immediately tried to make up excuses
Milim: W-w-wait Kaijuno! This treat was just so amazing that it broke me free from my-
Kaijuno: Milim . . . You're seriously not fooling anybody with that nonsense
Having nothing to think of to cover her act, Milim just continued to devour her sweet treat in embarrassment
Kaijuno: (You're right Yagami, this was a funny option)
I couldn't confirm but I felt that Yagami made a smirk at what I just said
Veldora: . . . . Kaijuno
I was curious why Veldora suddenly appeared within the barrier, given I didn't have any manga with me. It also seems that he had something he needed to say
Veldora: . . . . . ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Now you pulled that move!? Do you not know what risks I made to get in here!?
I was suddenly shock at the scolding storm dragon. It was just poor timing is all
Kaijuno: I-I mean, I didn't thought you could have done it
Veldora: you could've done it on your-
Before Veldora could continue, Clayman suddenly shouted out at the sudden revelation
Clayman: W-W-WHAT!? HOLD ON! Milim! Weren't you supposed to be under my control!?
Milim: Oh! Well since the cat is out of the bag, I was just faking it the whole time-noda
Kaijuno: (I recall, some sort of bellpepper . . . . Now I'm in the mood for a bell pepper dish)
Clayman was trying to wrap his head around why this happened. It only took him a moment to consider Frey deceiving him to which she confirmed his suspicion
Enraged, Clayman began walking towards Frey's direction
But this was the perfect opportunity that Lavandra needed. With only one opponent focus on, Lavandra put her strength solely into the robed golem.
Swiftly before Clayman can return to tag teaming, the golem was beaten and slammed into barrier right in front of him
Lavandra: Seems that toy of your isn't all that tough after all!
Clayman: tsk! Fine, I was initially going kill you elegantly but now I have every intent to slaughter you brutally!
I was taken by suprised that Lavandra shift her focus to the robed golem. But since Clayman moved off else where, it was probably the best move to finish off the golem before completely going after Clayman. And just like in canon, Clayman transformed into a more intimidating form, growing extra pairs of arms in the process
Clayman: Now! You'll regret awakening my Wrath!
Willfla: Master!
Hearing Willfla call out for me, I quickly used my opening to escape
Kaijuno: Oh! I forgot about them! Brb, big bro!
Veldora: (Is irritation like this is what my sisters had to deal with?)
Kaijuno: What's up Willfla
Willfla: Master, the mystical creature before has been growing troubled as our clash continued. I believe there is more to them simply following clayman's orders
Through telepathy I heard her desperate pleas with withering strength
When I heard her pleading to be saved, my face stiffened beneath my mask. This felt differently from viewing the anime. Here, directly being begged to save them, I felt the a huge weight on me. The emotions they express showed how burdened they were from their time under clayman's dominated
Without hesitation, I gave the command to pin the fox's support beast
As expected, the two summoned beasts were quickly pinned down by Willfla and his shadow familiars separately. The fox didn't even had the strength stand anymore. They slumped down as I approached them
Yagami: (Individual Nine Head is under individual clayman's demon dominate. Do you wish to undo the spell? Yes or no?)
I gave the confirmation to undo the spell and with the it undone, the fox reverted back to their cub form along with the two summoned beast reverting back to the fox's tails. Leaving an adorable plush like creature in my arms
Kaijuno: oh. my. GOODNESS! SHE'S SO FLUFFY! Willfla! look how SMOL she is!
Willfla: poor thing she must have been through a lot to immediately pass out
Kaijuno: I know, but hey. I found a new subordinate
With all other matters settled, all focus was set on the clash between Lavnadra and Clayman, which is going as smoothly as expected
Clayman: Since I did lose a couple of my fingers, I'll have to start rebuilding them, starting with you!
Kaijuno: and now you'll have to count another finger!
With this mild sass of mine, clayman saw nine heads resting in my arms
Clayman: What the hell!? She's my Nine Heads! you dare try to steal
Kaijuno: Nah, screw you! I'm keeping
Clayman: Tch! No matter once I get through with her, the odd will start to go back in my favor
He said this in hopes that Lavandra could fall into his control but was soonly proven wrong. With her evolving into a wicked oni, clayman's binding could be resisted as she is a semi spiritual lifeform
With Lavandra freeing herself from his binding, clayman offically lost any advantage he could pull out
What followed was one-sided beatdown that at this point, almost everyone was starting to grow dull of
Kaijuno: (Is it just me, or does that stern look of her looks makes her more attractive than when she is usually all jolly?)
Yagami: (Answer, you're letting you masochist show aga-)
Kaijuno: (AGAIN, I'M NOT A MASOCHIST! I just like girls that can kick ass, NOT girls that can kick MY ass! There's a difference!)
Yagami: (suuuuuuuure)
Kaijuno:(I can't believe you just pulled that on me)
By then Lavandra sliced off all of Clayman's arms. All the blood loss made him collapse to the ground in defeat
With it finally concluding, Guy shrink the whole room back to it's original size and removed the barrier
Clayman: H-how long, how long have you been deceiving me Milim?
Milim: Well it wasn't easy. I had to work super duper hard to fool you!-noda
Carrion: So . . . You really were never in control, so it was the case
As clamyan said this, he held an expression that he had a suspicion that he never really held any control, almost as if he expected it to be the case
Milim: you betcha!
Carrion: Oh...so that means you destroyed my city of your own free will then!
Getting to open confirmation from the both of them, Carrion didn't hesitate to point out what milim did
Milim: Woah! Woah! don't tell me you're mad about something so small!
Carrion: How dare you! my entire kingdom is blown to bits because of your antics!
Desperate to escape any blame, milim threw all the fault on Clayman as she needed to keep deceiving
All of this occurred while the crazy marionette was heavily breathing, struggling to to stay alive
Carrion: Seriously!? Well it's not like it matters in the end, either way I'm screwed
Kaijuno: It's not too doom and gloom. we were able get all of your remaining citizens to escape while you were out of commission. So the kingdom of Eurazania is not down for the count
Carrion: You're right Kaijuno. I appreciate that you looked after them, I thought you still hated me
Kaijuno: Ay, no grudges about it. We ourselves can help out too with the construction. Especially with all of Clayman's forces that captured, we'll have plenty of man power
Carrion was astonished about what I had just said but with my absolute confirmation, a great wave of relief flown through Carrion as he gained some unexpected hope in such dark times
Without a moment of hesitation, as a sign of gratitude, Carrion offered to establish our diplomatic relationship as fully supportive allies instead of simply being trading partners to which I gladly accepted
This felt out of the blue but who am I to reject such an offer and given the length Tempest will have to provide, keeping ourselves as trading partners would no longer be accurate nor appropriate. Although it did felt so out of place that someone more mature than me would give such high regard of respect. Especially since I'm basically stealing Rimuru's idea.
I'm sure I could get some brownie points from Rimuru since they would be gleeful that our diplomatic relationship with Eurazania has greatly improved
Milim: Wahaha! You should thanking me too!-noda
Carrion: You could at try to act like you're ashamed of what you did
Kaijuno: I'm with Carrion on this one, do you have any idea how many doors you broke
Milim lost her boasting tone and just resorted to a desperate whistling
Guy: I was wondering why you let all those soldiers live. I just that you were being naive
Kaijuno: It wasn't that I was being merciful. I just figured I could make use of them as an extra labor force of war prisoners, especially since I won't be obligated to pay them anything
Guy didn't say anything instead just gave me a devilish smug. Having not only the strongest demon lord but the strongest primordial demon give a twisted grin is easily the most uncomfortable thing for anyone in existence to go through
Kaijuno: (What the heck is that expression suppose to mean!?)
Yagami: (Question, Do you actually want me to answer that?)
Kaijuno: (I get the feeling I don't want to know about it so no)
While I was getting starred at by the primordial red, both Frey and Carrion was telling Clayman off for how much of a jerk he was to everyone
It was in this slow moment that I felt something that bugged me. Seeing such a shameless bastard getting overwhelmingly humbled should be something that I would gladly laugh at and yet, I'm not overflowing with joy.
It's not getting back at him didn't brought any relief but the sight he was placed made it difficult to whole heartily enjoy his defeat, he was utterly pathetic. There he is laying on the cold floor, all beat up, covered in his blood, barely clinging on to his life.
Worst of all he's practically alone, sure he's surround by a crowd but none of them couldn't give a crap about him. There he lays, left to his own lonely suffering. Seeing someone in this position from an outsider's point of view was a bit too close to- . . . . just nothing pretty to look
But when it looked that clayman was done, against expectations, his power and aura erupted
Everyone either intentionally or instinctively dashed back from the now awakened clayman who almost immediately recovered from his injuries and is now in a world of laughter of his own

Lavandra was vocally questioning the current event only to be interupted when I said finally as I was partially excited for this part to come
Everyone in my group caught on to what I said and questioned what I meant
In this moment, I realized I let my mouth slip

I felt mildly flustered for what was just a cover up. Right by me, Carrion the Beastmaster was getting pumped to throw hands with the awakened clayman. Repeatedly clenching his fist and making mild jabs in the air
Carrion:To think he would awakened, then we shal-
Kaijuno: Hold it! It's still my fight. The condition for me to become a demon lord is defeat clayman, since he's still standing. It's on me to finish the job
Understanding I still have a job to, Carrion step aside but his arm was still a bit out in the air
Being fortune to be living out my biggest fantasy, I also hold the knowledge needed change fates in sort of semi time travel movie way. Why am I recalling this? Because during this, I had to make a change for my own satisfaction
With his fist still extended out, I returned a fist bump back much to Carrion's sudden confusion
Kaijuno: wish me luck!
Carrion: heh odd kid
Kaijuno: (Activate Big Boy Mode!)
Yagami refused to respond to what I just said. Most definitely cause she found it utterly cringy
It is mildly bumming that I can't be a super nerd without someone giving me the side eye in my own head
Kaijuno: ( . . .Yagami, make me bigger, also put my aura strength more closer to clayman's)
Yagami:(Understood)
With each step, I suddenly grow and grow to a size of an adult
Guy: Oh? So he did had something under his sleeve after all. Didn't looked to be in his favor but now the gap in their power is far more smaller now
Velzard: I agree, I was worried that they would end up as another complete disappointment like their father
On the side, the storm dragon shudders and whimpers at Velzard's remark
Kaijuno: I think it's about time we finally settle this, ya bastich!
Clayman: Yes! I will make you regret for daring to oppose me! For I am Clayman, The Crazy Pierrot
As he said this, his aura dramatically burst further, leading to an orange flare to sprout out from the one eye of his that wasn't covered by his own mask. Seeing immediately made me geek out that I desired to have an eye flare of my own
Kaijuno: (honestly I'm kinda liking that eye flare he has there, it's a tradition of villain designs. I want it too! Yagami, I want an eye flare too please!)
Yagami: (Question, are you serious?)
Kaijuno: (YES!)
Yagami:( . . . Suggestion, just put a violet fire over the eye area of you mask)
Kaijuno:(Yay!)
Yagami:(...*sigh* you're such a dork)
Kaijuno: (whatever)
With myself settled, I resolved my stance and held ready like Chuunibyou would
Kaijuno: Ask yourself this, what does a crazy pierrot mean...TO THE KING OF THE MONSTERS!!!
Clayman's Pov
Clayman: (Damn, the dream really was true afterall. I should've given milim some candy in persuasion instead of mind control. I didn't even hit her this time. Not just that, nearly everything is playing out the exact same as last time.
Frey's betrayel, Carrion's survival, besides who I'm facing, it's the exact same nightmare. I wish I could've figured it sooner....no, NO, I will survive this time! With this power, I feel like I can do anything. Best part, unlike last time with the blue slime, this kid is far more punier. Maybe this time my magic bullet will gave me the opening to escape!)
As I intended, I shot a destructive magic bullet straight at him at whole expectation of success
Clayman: (The moment he dodges, I'll make a break for-THE EXACT SAME ATTACK!?)
While in the previous time, it was vortex that absorbed my magic bullet, this time it was a huge head of a dragon that extended it jaw and ate it in one bite
Kaijuno: (I'm Guessing, Fanged Predation changed it's form through it own evolution huh?)
Yagami: (Correct, Ultimate Skill Gojira's Fanged Predation resembles closer to a head of a monster instead of an orb with pairs of fangs)
Kaijuno: (I see, it's looking kinda like Godzilla too. But it's not the big attack I'll need to finish him off. I got a special anti clayman finishing move perfectly set up for the occasion hehe)
Seeing that history was repeating itself, I started to internally panic
Clayman: (shit! is this just a sick repeat!? My magic bullet didn't do anything either. No, my I just gotta put more power into to overwhelming them. It can't be the same results this time, especially with a much weaker foe)
Desperately trying to regain my composure, I kept my superior tone. Instead of resorting to a magic bullet, I formed the most devastating attack I can forge immediately, Demon Blaster. Resembling a divine golden dragon that is eager lay down it's wrath on the target
Clayman: Since you're so caught up in villainy, I'll show you the terror of one! I whole heartedly doubt you can survive this!
Kaijuno: Oh you're villain alright, just not a super one!
Clayman: What does a kid like you would know what it takes to be one! DEMON BLASTER!
Kaijuno: PRESENTATION!!!
The moment I shot out my demon blaster, his own attack devoured it look it was a single strand of noodle
I'm the middle of my confusion, the white ice dragon reminded Guy to set up the barrier, trapping both of me and the brat within it
The brat had asked if I "liked them apples", all while releasing huffs of exhaustion. It gave me the idea that I have chance
Clayman: (Wait I think I see an opening! It's look like that attack takes a toll on him each time he uses it. So he can't use it continuously or else he'll exhaust himself. Since he already looks worn out, a close range approach should be the best option. Dragging this out is the best solution to victory!)
Clayman: Seems you really bit more off than you can chew. It's time face your doom, brat!
What followed was a flurry of brawls between the two of us. I was getting a good couple of hits in, but the same could be said for the brat. when he launched his own punch, I recalled how last time, my thought speed was accelerated beyond the speed that I could move.
I experienced practically an eternity of pain in my fight against the blue slime. But here, it wasn't the case, after the first punch, I was still moving at my normal speed. There was actually some hope in this fight
Frey: Their power feels overwhelming even for me
Carrion: Yeah, but from the looks of it, Clayman doesn't seem to be struggling in the strength department, it's not looking too good for the young fella
Kaijuno:(Yagami, which attack should I land next?)
Yagami:(miss punch, hit kick, dodge, dodge, accept attack, hit punch)
Kaijuno: (Got it! Just a little more, I can finally pull off my special finishing move)
Clayman: (YES! This time, it will be my victory!)
For many minutes, we continuously crawled and clashed against eachother. From the get go, it looked like we were neck and neck but over the course of the fight, the little prick was wearing out more than I was, it was growing closer and closer to my favor.
Although he was able to get some hits in by taking advantage by the fact he has no muscle nor bones to restrict his movements. His limbs kept stretching and twisting abnormally, it was something you wouldn't expect from someone taking on a humanoid appearance
Kaijuno: (I'm quite surprised I'm just now thinking of stretching my limbs for combat. You'd think rimuru would've resorted to such a fighting style since he's the only sentient slime. Although there is some cartoony effect of fighting like mr.fantastic, maybe it feels a bit too embarrassing for a lot of slime race characters)
By the end of it, I was bruised up, head to toe. But the brat was crouching down, barely holding on to it's life. I couldn't stop myself from bursting out into laughter
Clayman: What did I tell ya! You would pay for your insolence! Victory was inevitable! For the Great Demon Lord Clayman!
Kaijuno: (Almost there)
Kaijuno: a demon lord? Really?
Clayman: hm? Got anything left to say brat, before you face your end
Kaijuno: Terror, that's the thing. A demon lord should be horrifying, intimidating, beyond the compression of Man.
I wasn't sure what he was spewing out, but I was curious none the less
Kaijuno: Their presence alone brings shivers to all of their enemies. Truly showing the world what it's like to fear
but you? You fall far short of such terror. Afterall even children wouldn't be scared
As the brat was saying this, I was really seething in the inside. Afterall this time, the brat still held arrogance
Kaijuno: . . . of a foolish clown like you
This was the tipping point for me, all this brat has done was belittle my position, to dare look down on me while odds are clearing stacked against, he still thinks he is better than me.
He was already on one knee anyways, nothing is stopping me from thrashing as much as I want on him as I yelled at the top of my lungs
