Chapter 39 - verdant vision p.3

"Woah! The view from up here is awesome!" Ravina said.

They flew slowly above the short hills and enjoyed the sun dip below the horizon.

Shyam was flying for the first time in his second life. In his first life, he had flown before on planes, but he never thought he would get the chance to fly again—and on a bird as well!

After flying for a little over ten minutes, they reached the outer entrance of the village and landed there.

Shyam didn't want attention inside the village, so it would be better to land outside the village and then walk barefoot.

Ravina too understood him, as she herself often ran from attention. She too didn't like it.

Being popular limits how much fun one can have in life.

After entering the village, Ravina went straight to the guild to report the completion of the quest, while Shyam went back to the inn to finally check on all the things that happened today.

Not to mention, he got a double ES as a drop loot, which meant even if one ES is gone as proof of quest completion, Shyam still had one to tier up to Tier 2 Sub-Stage 1.

Which meant—tonight he trains!

After eating dinner at the inn, Shyam went straight to his room and sat on the bed as he opened his collection window and started reading the T2 Hydra Path Complete Guide Book.

While reading, he noticed something different.

Something he hadn't seen in any of the books he read through his system before.

On many of the paragraphs, there was a small text written in small letters, yet still readable:

[mistake] or [wrong]

He was a little bit curious to know what these meant.

"Raitha," he whispered.

"Ask, peasant," she replied while yawning above Shyam's head.

It seemed like Shyam's head is more comfortable than the bed, huh?

"What do these mean?" Shyam asked as he pointed his finger toward one of the texts.

Raitha looked at them and explained the reason for them being there.

"It means either there is a mistake in that paragraph or what is said there is wrong."

"Even I understand that. What's the use then?" Shyam asked as he held her neck and slammed her down to the bed like a WWE fighter.

"Owch. I'm gonna die, ah, die. Yeah, die!!" Raitha said dramatically as she rolled on the bed like a five-year-old child.

"I'll give you this if you tell me," Shyam said as he took out his slime stick and waved it above Raitha like she was a cat.

Which she might actually be, judging from how lazy she was.

Her eyes sparkled the moment she saw the slime stick, and every bit of the details were spit out like a train at night!

"It was added after you achieved level 50! And now, you can see the mistakes and wrongs of a book—not just books but some basic items and weapons as well! And you can combine new books to replace those mistakes or wrongs to make it more perfect!

Unfortunately, you can't do the same with the items or weapons."

Raitha said as she finally got the slime stick all by herself.

Though she did say she was genderless, we will address her as a female because—WHY NOT?

ISN'T SHE SEXY ENOUGH!?

"Seems like a big hassle. I'll see to it once I reach Vyomsetu," Shyam whispered and continued reading the guide.

After four hours of continuous reading, Shyam finally finished reading the entire guide book and then immediately started practicing.

Despite the countless mistakes this book had, it was still good and very informative.

Teaching from the ground up, so well written that even a beginner who knew nothing about this world or its laws could understand it quite well.

Shyam claimed the extra ES that he got from the Blue Eagle and then held it tightly as he closed his eyes and focused on his mana flow.

He could now easily sense his mana, unlike the first time when he tried to sense it.

Man, that poop event! He still remembered it as if it happened just a few days ago.

Shyam started flowing the mana energy just as the book told him to, and in just an hour, with a TUNG sound, he broke through.

He, for some reason, felt a lot lighter than he did before, as if he just lost a ton of weight.

But when he looked down to finally catch a breath, he was terrified by what he saw!

"Black poop!?" he quietly yelled.

It was already nighttime, and everyone must be asleep right now.

But still, what he saw was unbelievable. Not because it was black, but because it was still coming out of his body as if his body was pooping.

And the smell, oof...

But after looking closer into it, he found out it wasn't poop, but the dust and dirt that—even after showering—didn't leave his body.

So, this is why he felt lighter?

Not to mention, he now felt much cleaner as well.

Not just lighter, but he felt way more powerful too.

Though he didn't have much time to think about it, as he needed to clean up this mess before morning, or scolding awaited him.

Without much thought, he quickly got to work, and before morning, he finished cleaning all the bedsheets and himself.

Yet, even after doing all that and staying up all night, Shyam for some reason didn't feel the tiredness he was supposed to.

As if he just got a proper sleep.

Is this also one of the privileges of being a Tier Two fighter?

Raitha finally woke up.

And the moment her eyes laid sight upon Shyam's new body, her eyes widened with the kind of shock you'd see on a friend's face who half expected you to fail your exam.

"Master, you look… like a handsome peasant now!"

Yeah, expected. I mean, could she ever let go of the roasting?

Never!

Because that's what makes her special!

Without that, she had no role in this story…

Yahaha, kidding.

"Yeah, right?! Being a Tier Two fighter feels great!" Shyam said as he stretched just a little bit and finally prepared to go and do the task that made him do all this—

To collect the Heat Red Flower!

Shyam stepped outside the room as he walked toward the stairs to leave the inn when suddenly—

"Shyam?" a girl spoke from behind.

Shyam froze and turned around.

"Oh! Ravina, you stay here too?" Shyam said.

He was a little surprised by this coincidence that both Shyam and Ravina stayed under the same roof—just different rooms.

"Yeah, but... how did you reach Tier Two Sub-Stage One in just one night?" she asked.

"Eh, it just happened," Shyam replied with a smile, as if even he didn't know how it happened.

A complete lie!

"What do you mean 'just happened'?!?"

She wanted to yell but couldn't, as they were in an inn.

"Anyway, I'm going to the guild. Bye," Shyam said as he started going down the stairs to head off to find the Heat Red Flower.

But Ravina insisted on going along.

Shyam tried, but at last, he had to give up—finally, and at last, he had to take her with him.
