Chapter 61 - Chapter 61:Grief vs Delusion 5

Yama stood frozen basking at the angelic horror that stood before him. The clouds around swirling into a golden orchestra.

Shin, Bael and Satel were frozen as well, unable to utter a single word.

"She's still brittle. But I'll need some help with distracting her," Yama said.

He turned and faced the others then fixated on Shin. Shin looked back at him and pointed at himself. Yama nodded.

Shin jumps down and runs to Yama.

"Here sir," Shin said as he stood right next to him.

Before Yama could respond, Ezra swung down at them with her mace. Shin immediately launched back.

Yama remained in a battle stance as the mace made its way to him.

"Tetsu o kudaku Ken."

Yama met the mace with his own fist. The mace followed through as it continued into the ground, shattering upon contact with Yama's fist.

Ezra was unfazed and simply lifted her shattered mace and struck with her axe.

Oh come on my arms hurt and you're throwing another one.

Just as the axe reached Yama, he side stepped and hit it from the side. Wincing as the axe shattered as well.

"Your arms are very sturdy," Ezra spoke in that unnerving voice as she grasped her sword with two hands.

With all her might she swung down at Yama. Yama extended his hand to parry but the blade did not break.

The ground below Yama shattered as a crater began forming underneath him. With both hands Yama held up the sword.

The ground continued to cave in with each second as Ezra applied more force.

"Shin!!," Yama yelled out grunting under the divine weight of the sword.

"Got it," Shin responded as he threw a large wind arrow at Ezra.

The arrow soared through the air and shot right through one of the arms that was holding the sword.

Without hesitation Yama tossed the sword aside and took aim at Ezra.

"You're even more brittle than I thought," Yama said.

"Tetsu o kudaku Ken."

With one flick of his arm the air around Yama forcefully bent and headed towards Ezra at a high speed, hitting her in the chest and knocking her over.

"Shin!!!," Yama yelled clutching his forearm and falling onto his knees.

Shin ran past Yama and used Ezra's sword to launch himself into the air.

"Combination magic:tier 4-Flaming hurricane."

Shin threw a fire ball at Ezra that engulfed her in a hurricane of fire. Shin propelled himself back using wind magic and landed near Yama.

"Are you okay sir? " Shin asked crouching down next to him.

Yama held his arm close to himself as he looked at the sea of flames before him.

"Get up, don't worry about me I'll be fine," Yama said.

Shin nodded and got up to take a look at Ezra but was horrified to see her getting up.

"You think burning me is enough. No amount of pain will stop me from fulfilling my mission," Ezra shrieked.

Yama quickly shot up and staggered a bit before stopping himself. Ezra raised one of her reaming five arms into the air.

The clouds began to spin rapidly as they formed a large circle around them.

"Fall from the skies and eradicate all who stand against me. Light magic:tier 7-light of falling grace."

Ezra brought her hand down. The sky shone brightly as countless beams of light bombarded the land, falling straight at both Yama and Shin.
