Zelda looks at the man and I can tell she's on edge especially now that he made a slight towards Zelda indirectly. She gets up and walks off with Mineru following shortly. I glare at the old man as he mumbles about uselessness and women.
" And now that the useless waste of space is gone I can now speak with you. I'll admit that creating the fake hero was foolish but the people needed hope especially with the threat of calamity Gannon at the time. They weren't going to get it from the useless princess that couldn't have even unlock her power," says the old man and I immediately grab him by the cloak surprising him.
" What's the meaning of this don't you know who I am!" Screams the old man as Zelda and Mineru come back watching the scene unfold. They're about to intervene but the next words that come from his mouth stops them.
" I'm King Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule," screams the old man as I laugh at him.
" You're no king, you were a regency that was only holding the throne until Zelda's seventeenth birthday. She's the true ruler of Hyrule and her people. The only king that ever had power was Rauru and he was a better king than you ever were," I say to him as I throw him away from me sending his ghostly form into a tree toppling it to the ground. I rush forward and grab him again and squeeze. " Tell me was your entire life lies. I've heard rumors that you only married Zelda's mother due to a contract that was passed down to her when her older sister the previous Zelda was assassinated. You gained power and produced a so called heir that you hated. You poisoned her mother and as she got sicker you blamed Zelda's young self that it was her fault."
I slam him into the ground with my wings spider webbing the impact and he coughed ghostly blood. I continue my rant, " as the threat of calamity Gannon appeared you planned on using Zelda's image against her. She couldn't unlock the power as you were also poisoning her, not enough to kill her but just enough to keep her sickly. A slight cough and she's bedridden for a month trying not to collapse her lungs. A sneeze and she's having seizures from the blood vessels popping in her head. A cut that turns life threatening as it won't clot. You hated her as she was a threat to your rule."
I throw him into a boulder near his cabin and the boulder splits in two from the impact. " The idea of her becoming Queen and sitting on your gaudy throne sickened you. You hired assassins, even yiga clan members to try to kill her. All because you wanted your mistress to be queen as it would be law."
" She wasn't fit to be queen neither was her mother. Too good for their own kind they handed out pleasentries and aid to the other domains. Always looking out for the common rabble instead of the higher circle. They even wanted to forgive the yiga clan and accept them back into the kingdom. All of them were like that. That's why her aunt Zelda had to die and my father saw to it blaming the yiga that had nothing to do with it. Her mother was already sickly and Zelda did have a hand making her weaker but it wasn't enough."
" You despicable bastard," screams out Zelda as she listens to the words coming from her fath... No that man's mouth. She cries falling to her knees as king rhoam sneers.
" Such weakness, no good would have come from such a weak girl. I'm just upset that the personal knight I gave the fake sword too couldn't do his job before the calamity struck. He was supposed to rape you at that spring since impa couldn't come with you. He was supposed to rape you place a ring on your finger and use a yiga blade to kill you."
"It was supposed to be played out that there was finally love between you and you consumated your love through matrimony at the spring. Then you were attacked and he fought valiantly but wasn't enough to save you. The calamity screwed it all up and there's nothing you can do to hurt me permanently. I'll just go to the sacred realm and be safe from whatever you are." He says causing Zelda to cry. I strip him of the paraglider he had on him and threw him off the plateau. Soon his spirit is sent flying back up but before it disappears into the sacred realm a shadowy hand grabs him and we hear a sweet chuckle as he starts to scream and is dragged into wherever the shadowy hand came from. His crown landing at Zelda's feet. She grabs it and snarls about to throw it away but I stop her and place the crown in my inventory.
" Don't worry Zelda you're a fine princess and you'll be a great queen trust me," I say as she hugs me softly saying," thank you."
I pay her back and reply," anytime Zel."
She continues crying into the night as Mineru sits beside us and hug her as well. The shrine can wait till tomorrow.
