Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Bibi Dong Takes The Field

"Ahhhhh!"

"You lackeys of the Spirit Hall… you bastards who took my mother!!"

Shi Hao roared like a war god, his fists hammering down on Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo like they were sandbags. The tide of battle shifted in an instant.

One-sided.

Absolute domination.

Seeing this, Qian Daoliu's expression shifted dramatically. An eight-ring Soul Douluo suppressing two Title Douluo? There could only be one reason—a difference in martial soul quality.

Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo's spirits were already top-tier. After all, it was nearly impossible to reach the Title Douluo level without one. Across the entire Douluo Continent, there were only a handful of martial souls superior to theirs.

But this kid's… was on a whole other level.

Shi Hao swung both fists with massive force, closing in on the two Titled Douluo. They hastily gathered what little soul power they had left to try and defend against the incoming blow.

"Old Ghost… I can't hold on! This kid's strength is just insane!"

Chrysanthemum Douluo spat out another mouthful of blood, voice strained. Ghost Douluo coughed up blood as well, his tone hoarse.

"I… I'm at my limit too. We're no match for him. His martial soul seems to suppress mine directly."

"Add that to his monstrous soul ring configuration—the buffs he's getting are comparable to a top-tier Hyper Douluo!"

Despite their best efforts, the two Douluo were being completely overwhelmed. Their defensive barriers shattered under Shi Hao's storm of blows.

From afar, Qian Daoliu's eyes widened in alarm. If Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo were seriously injured or killed here, Spirit Hall would suffer a crippling blow. Just as he prepared to intervene, he suddenly froze, eyes locking onto a figure approaching from the distance.

A golden silhouette descended like a divine goddess.

She landed gracefully in front of the two battered Titled Douluo, her expression grim as she raised a slender fist. That fist, delicate in appearance, was laced with unimaginable power.

BOOM!

Shi Hao's colossal punch collided with hers in midair—and to everyone's astonishment, he was sent flying.

Hundreds of meters away.

He crashed through building after building before slamming into the ground with a thunderous boom.

Everyone was stunned.

This was the first time… the first time someone had knocked Shi Hao back!

As the smoke cleared, the figure stood revealed—draped in a flowing golden robe, a golden scepter in hand, her face breathtakingly beautiful.

The crowd erupted.

"It's her! The Pope!"

"The Pope's here in person?!"

"First a Soul Douluo, then two Title Douluo, and now the Pope herself?! How terrifying is this kid?!"

"Now that she's here, it's over for him… there's no chance anymore!"

Standing amidst the whispers, Bibi Dong's expression was complicated. That it took her—the Pope herself—to stop a child… it was beyond humiliating.

But she had no choice.

Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo were her most trusted lieutenants. She couldn't just let them die. The damage to Spirit Hall was already catastrophic—they couldn't afford more.

"Ow… that really hurt!"

On the other side, Shi Hao clambered back to his feet almost immediately. Anger and shock surged in his eyes. This was the first time—ever—that he'd been overpowered by force alone.

"Who are you…? Another one of Spirit Hall's dogs?!"

He glared down at her from above, his tiny face twisted in rage.

"How dare you! That's the Pope you're speaking to!" barked Chrysanthemum and Ghost Douluo simultaneously.

Shi Hao's eyes narrowed. "So you're the leader of Spirit Hall then… the one who took my mother."

"Give her back! Now!!"

But Bibi Dong didn't answer. Instead, her voice rang out coldly and clearly.

"I always thought I was the most talented soul master of this generation—the youngest Pope in the history of Spirit Hall, a true prodigy. A Title Douluo with twin martial souls… I believed I stood above all others."

"But you… your existence shattered that illusion. You don't belong on this continent. You're a threat to Spirit Hall, and I can't allow that to stand."

"As for your mother… perhaps Spirit Hall did take her. But that doesn't matter anymore."

Her voice was solemn. Right and wrong no longer mattered. What mattered was that this boy had humiliated Spirit Hall beyond repair. She couldn't let him go.

"You are now an enemy of Spirit Hall. So come—show me your strength!"

As her words fell, Bibi Dong summoned her martial soul—Death Spider Emperor—and released her nine soul rings.

The final one… blood-red.

Her eyes turned crimson. Her upper body was covered in dark purple-black armor, her face concealed behind a carapace. Below the waist, her body transformed into a massive arachnid abdomen, eight sharp spider legs extending from it.

Half-human, half-spider.

The grotesque transformation made it clear why Bibi Dong rarely took the field herself.

"That woman… she's terrifying."

Shi Hao stared at her mutated form, an unfamiliar pressure settling over him. For the first time, he felt… hesitant.

But strangely, he also couldn't bring himself to hate her.

Still…

"She's the one behind all this. If I beat her… I can save Mom!"

With renewed resolve, Shi Hao stomped the ground, and his four black and four red soul rings flared to life once again.

The pressure coming from Bibi Dong forced Shi Hao to go all out. He unleashed everything.

Behind him, the glowing runes of his Supreme Bone pulsed with radiant energy, blinding the crowd.

His body expanded—slowly morphing into a towering mountain over a hundred meters tall.

"If it's a fight you want… then let's fight!!"
