Chapter 41 - Second trial

Violent wind struck Ilwoo's body, forcing him back an inch as the door opened inward. The gust subsided once the door fully opened, revealing a hollow, empty space.

As the dust settled, Ilwoo cautiously peered inside from the entrance's edge, unsheathing his sword as red flames erupted along its blade.

'What kind of trial is it this time?'

He stepped inside cautiously, his teammates trailing close behind with weapons drawn, ready for any threat that might emerge.

The chamber was silent. No monsters, not even the faintest sign of life. Still, Ilwoo's heart pounded hard, fearing something might be hidden, waiting at their feet.

"Stay alert. We don't know when or where the enemies will appear," he warned, stepping further into another empty room.

The space resembled a modern theater in size, but nothing stood out, only damp walls and withered traces left behind by the passage of time.
