Ren sat in a corner, listening to what Commander Brown was saying to Axton.
He wondered what the Faction 4 commander had brought over this time. From his experience, Ren deduced that commanders weren't trustworthy. Just like Reed and Mark, they were both greedy and sneaky.
So, he was waiting to see what Brown had brought to the table.
He didn't mean to eavesdrop but the topic was just so fascinating that he couldn't take his ear away from it.
"We found a signal, captain," Brown slid a glowing flat screen over to Axton on the table.
Axton stared at the red dot that blinked on the green-highlighted map, "It's weak." He said calmly.
Brown nodded, "Yes, Captain. We have only been able to detect it as a pure signal, but when we tried to get to it, we realised that we kept going in circles. It's like, it's on the map but not on the map." He explained.
