Corvin suddenly cleared his throat to lessen the tension, "It will be delivered to you in a few minutes, Captain." He said, glancing awkwardly around the room.
"Go up to your room, Renault. You know when to bring yourself to me," Axton ordered coldly, staring at Ren with a gaze that promised a retribution which only Ren could understand.
Without speaking, Ren spun around and walked out of the infirmary, sliding past Kael without speaking to him either.
Kael stared at Ren as the elevator doors slid shut, enclosing Ren and blocking him from view.
He turned and loomed at his brother, a disappointed look in his eyes.
"What do I know? I'm just a sergeant," Kael muttered as he sauntered into the infirmary, walking past Axton to go sit on a stool beside the table.
Axton ignored him, pushing his hands into his pockets. Kael had repeated exactly what he had told him when he questioned him about raping Ren.
