Lu Jingming gazed deeply at Hoshimi Miyabi in the arena.
Her black hair cascaded like a waterfall. Her temperament was as icy as frost, as if she pushed everyone a thousand miles away.
However, the striking fox ears provided a sharp contrast to her cold demeanor, adding a touch of cuteness.
Her attire was both conservative and daring, especially her beautiful legs encased in black stockings—long, powerful, and elegantly curved—which irresistibly drew the eye.
Although slightly petite, Hoshimi Miyabi was unexpectedly curvaceous, the type who couldn't see her toes when looking down.
Her sharp swordsmanship, rich combat experience, and bone-chilling Frost Power all indicated that her strength should not be underestimated.
That Meng Hongchen managed to summon this top-tier warrior from the Zenless Zone Zero world, the youngest Hollow Hunter in history, was a testament to her excellent luck.
Engaging in fierce combat with Hoshimi Miyabi was another Servant, whose Master, Wang Qiu'er, was observing from the side.
Like Hoshimi Miyabi, this Servant was a "grind queen" devoted to training and improving her strength through battle. She was Bianka Ataegina—the strongest Valkyrie of Schicksal.
When these two—equally beautiful, equally powerful, and both martial arts fanatics—met, a peculiar chemical reaction naturally occurred.
Since their acquaintance, Hoshimi Miyabi and Bianka had often met up to train and fight, as if they had found the best opponent and partner in each other.
Their friendship quickly intensified, seemingly deeper than the bond they shared with their respective Masters.
Compared to Hoshimi Miyabi, who stood at just 1.7 meters even with her fox ears, Bianka was considerably taller.
She possessed an upright and heroic figure, exuding a unique aura that was both handsome and beautiful.
Bianka was currently clad in the blue and white Valkyrie battlesuit, Bright Knight: Excelsis, tightly grasping the 6th Divine Key, Abyss Flower.
The smooth lines of the blue and white armor shimmered, complementing the faintly glowing Abyss Flower in her hands, further enhancing her valiant appearance.
If the Abyss Flower in Bianka's hand were not merely a weapon but a Soul (Martial Soul), onlookers would likely mistake her for a relative of Lu Jingming, perhaps his sister or cousin.
After all, on the Douluo Continent, the Soul often symbolized bloodline inheritance, and those with the same Soul invariably shared some degree of familial connection in their ancestry.
Although Bianka was merely a memory construct, she possessed all her original abilities.
While the Abyss Flower in her hands could not match the absolute power of its true form, the authorities of Decay and Genesis it contained were authentic.
Lu Jingming recalled the particularly amusing expression on Gu Yue's face when she saw Bianka use the Abyss Flower, which made Lu Jingming chuckle.
"Partner, I can't wait to get into the fight. Is there any way? Tell your sister's Servant to fight me!"
Just as everyone was focused on the spectacular battle in the arena, someone could no longer restrain himself.
The speaker was a young man standing next to Xiao Hongchen. He was dressed in gray, had short orange hair, wore a red mask diagonally across his face, and possessed a lithe figure.
He was intently staring at Hoshimi Miyabi and Bianka in the arena, his gaze not merely an appreciation of beauty, but a fiery lust for battle ignited upon seeing worthy opponents.
Xiao Hongchen, whom the young man called "Partner," couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth upon hearing this.
His Servant was certainly powerful, but he was an absolute combat maniac, having challenged almost every strong person he had met recently.
He hadn't even spared Jingliu, although that particular challenge left him easily half-dead, and he hadn't dared to challenge her again since.
In his own words, Jingliu reminded him of his master, leaving him with bad memories, and the disparity in their power was too vast. That kind of fight, for him, was not an invigorating, fair competition but a one-sided, ruthless obliteration.
Although this young man was obsessed with battle and an outright combat maniac, he was not simple-minded.
He knew how to be flexible and would use methods other than direct combat to achieve his goals.
However, deep down, he still preferred an exhilarating, direct fight.
He was also capable of curbing his battle lust, not being entirely driven by instinct.
This young man was the Fatui Eleventh Harbinger—Childe, Tartaglia—Xiao Hongchen's summoned Servant.
On the very first day he was summoned, he unceremoniously beat up his own Master, claiming that only by understanding each other through battle could they trust each other and ultimately become friends.
Although Xiao Hongchen's strength was comparatively weak, Tartaglia grudgingly recognized his Master qualification, believing him to be weak but with room for growth. Thus, Xiao Hongchen earned Tartaglia's unique title of "Partner."
Looking at Childe, Lu Jingming couldn't help but think of his teacher, the cold, swordsman-like Jingliu.
If the Master and apprentice were to clash, it would undoubtedly be a very spectacular show, and the scene would be quite interesting.
"My sister's Servant isn't an option. Why don't you go fight him!" Xiao Hongchen glanced at Lu Jingming, who was embracing his sister, and a malicious thought arose. He couldn't help but egg Childe on to fight Lu Jingming.
In his mind, he could accept either outcome, regardless of who won.
In Xiao Hongchen's view, both of them were quite detestable.
One was a fighting fanatic who would even beat up his own Master, and the other was a "scumbag" who stole his sister.
If he weren't weaker than Lu Jingming, he would have wanted to challenge him long ago.
Xiao Hongchen believed that if Lu Jingming weren't so promiscuous, given his strength, talent, and background, he wouldn't necessarily reject him as a brother-in-law.
But Lu Jingming had too many confidantes. Xiao Hongchen felt that Meng Hongchen would not be happy following him.
As a nobleman himself, he had seen too much of the messy private lives of nobles and understood their fickleness, so he firmly opposed Meng Hongchen being with Lu Jingming.
He didn't care about the emotional affairs of others, but he absolutely could not stand by and watch his sister be relegated to a position of no regard and suffer grievances, like the wives and concubines of those nobles.
Lu Jingming was well aware of Xiao Hongchen's worry, so he had a favorable impression of his potential brother-in-law. At the very least, he could see that Xiao Hongchen genuinely cared for Meng Hongchen.
As for Xiao Hongchen's concerns, Lu Jingming felt that he was not a pure, traditional nobleman of this world and would not do such heartless things.
Though he was affectionate, he was sincere and caring towards every girl, and would never allow them to suffer grievance.
Of course, the girls occasionally feeling a little jealous was only human nature, and there was nothing he could do to prevent that.
"Partner, isn't that your sister's boyfriend? Does he have a grudge with you?"
Although Childe was obsessed with fighting, as a Fatui Harbinger, his mind was quite sharp, and he instantly sensed Xiao Hongchen's hidden motives.
"He's not yet! Are you going to fight or not!"
Hearing Childe's words, Xiao Hongchen's mouth twitched again, and the expression on his face instantly became very colorful.
"Fight, of course I'll fight. I can feel the fighting spirit on this brother from a distance. He clearly looks like a formidable opponent, much stronger than you, Partner."
Childe would naturally not refuse to fight a strong opponent. Even knowing he was being used by Xiao Hongchen, he didn't care at all.
Moreover, he didn't hold back verbally, subtly throwing a jab at Xiao Hongchen.
Xiao Hongchen's face instantly contorted when he heard that.
What does he mean, "much stronger than you," making it sound like I'm very weak.
Back in the day, he was the number one genius of the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineer Academy!

An Important Announcement: Time to Write Our Own Novel!
Hello everyone!
Thank you all so much for your support; it truly helps me keep going!
I have some exciting news: after translating many fanfics, I've decided it's time to start writing my own Novels! I plan to begin with a new fanfic—I'm currently thinking of either the Avatar: The Last Airbender or Douluo Dalu universe, featuring a Neutral protagonist. That is exactly what I meant by Neutral Protagonist (This refers to the character's Alignment. A Neutral Protagonist is not strictly bound by concepts of absolute good or evil, nor are they necessarily tied to Law or Chaos. Their actions are generally motivated by their own survival, personal goals, or a desire for balance, operating in a morally gray area.)
Once I've written a few fanfics and gained more experience, I can then move on to developing my own original novel soon after.
If you want a direct hand in shaping the main character's destiny and giving input, be sure to join the poll!
I've launched a poll on my P@t reon page!
HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:
1. Head over to our P@t reon page and become a member. (Don't worry, even those with a free membership can join the poll and share their input!)
