The ground trembled and shook violently!
"Are you frakking serious?!" Eldra held the girl in her arms and watched as her Master floated in the air above the sandy pit. After all the fighting and even healing the little girl, he still had the energy for this insanity?
"Master, maybe I should just use the tractor beam of the YT?" Shmi also thought it was a little silly.
"Why didn't you say that earlier?!" Asmodeus opened his eyes and shouted, "Do both! Do everything! I don't wanna get Force Hemorrhoids from this shit!"
'Same.' Sarry wasn't idle either. A lot of the rocks have actually been broken up over the past year in preparation for this move. So it wasn't like she was completely locked in place… It was just incredibly difficult for her to dig herself out of the ground. In fact, when a Sarlacc is younger, they can still move around pretty easily. Not as flexible as a Krayt Dragon of course, but at least they won't become completely immobile. It's just that due to the harsh environment of Tatooine, she couldn't waste any energy to move around. So when she found some water underground in this rocky area, she decided to stick around and her home eventually became a prison.
"Master Asmodeus, I'm here to help!" Before Shmi could turn around, the YT was already floating up above the pit. C-3PO shot down some blue tractor beams from those mandibles and lifted up huge chunks of rock and plenty of sand easily. Asmodeus was also working hard with the Force, never bothering to do too much at one time though.
After all, the bigger an object, the harder it is to move. It's takes a lot longer, but moving sand and rocks a few hundred kilos at a time was much easier than struggling with massive objects. He could also lift dozens of small boulders at a time, sending them flying out of the way. Even the tractor beams were the same way. Just lifting sand and rocks a bit, then turning off and letting them keep moving in a parabola, never actually touching the mandibles at the front of the ship.
"Watch it!" Eldra screamed as a boulder almost flattened the two of them!
"Oh dear! Apologies!"
C-3PO's came through her communicator again.
"We should get back to the Sheathipede." Shmi grabbed a blue Lek and yanked it a bit, "Come on!"
"Alright, stop that!"
The two of them were back inside the ship soon enough. They lifted off into the air and hovered around, scanning for potential enemies. Whether on the ground, the sky or in space, but everything was relatively calm.
It wasn't long before the head was fully revealed, letting Shmi see the terrifying Sarlacc's true 'face'. The giant funnel-like mouth closed and looked somewhat like a giant 'flower bud' that was about to bloom. A lumpy brown-ish tan flower bud that was attached to a thick, slightly wrinkled neck. Two huge arms finally reached up. The claws dug into the sides of the pit and those surprisingly long limbs started pulling the relatively 'skinny' torso out of the rocky, sandy ground.
The body that emerged was almost a hundred meters long on its own, while only about 25 meters at the widest. The belly was covered in armored gray plates, but the back was thick, elephant-like, slightly wrinkled skin. There was a stubby tail on her dusty ass, along with two huge tendrils that wiggled around and flung off the rubble from her back.
'I feel… Tired.'
Then Sarry slumped down outside the pit and her mouth opened wide, that skinny torso inflated and deflated like a balloon as she breathed heavily. For that matter, even her 'asshole' was inhaling and exhaling along with her mouth. Even she didn't know where her brain was, or whether she actually had one. Maybe there were ten small brains or thousands. Sarlacc biology wasn't studied very thoroughly.
"Me too…" Asmodeus sighed as he floated over and sat down on her back, "Rest for a while… We'll have to start moving soon. At least far enough that we won't be found easily. Don't worry. We don't have to do all the work ourselves."
'I know… Finally… Free.'
"Yeah… But freedom ain't actually free. Usually you gotta work a lot harder for it." Asmodeus snickered and looked up towards the sky. His eyes could seemingly see through the ship, or at least 'feel' those two women. Shmi was looking at him from the cockpit and smiling, while Eldra was taking care of the 'new girl' in the back. Making sure that she didn't suddenly kick the bucket while waiting for medical treatment.
Sarry's 'nutrient solution' was injected into the Rodian's body, along with some other medicines. It was more effective to get Sarry Juice fresh from the tentacles, but it still had a decent efficacy for a while if it was kept refrigerated. There were also other generic first aid tricks and technologies. Performing surgery had to wait though.
"Alright Threepio! You know what to do."
"Are you sure, Master? I feel like it would be safer for Mistress Skywalker-"
"Just do it. Don't worry so much."
Those tractor beams reached down and Asmodeus also used the Force at the same time! They weren't trying to lift Sarry up or throw her, just… Provide a little help.
'Much… Lighter.'
The giant Sarlacc pushed up off the sand with her front spikes and hind 'hooves'. That armored belly acted like a sled and allowed her to slide across the sandy dunes pretty easily. The blue beams and Asmodeus' crimson aura seemed to mesh together into a purple glow around her massive body. The Light Freighter was only 44 meters long, less than half her length. However, it could haul up to 150 tons and still fly at a reasonable speed. So just lightening her weight wasn't too stressful.
At least nothin compared to Asmodeus. He had to take off his black robe so that he would be completely 'one with nature', he was a nudist after all.
'Come inside me.'
"That'd be the smart thing to do…" He opened his tired eyes and sighed, "You can't waste your strength on me though. Just keep going. Don't worry, I won't hurt myself anymore than usual."
'Sorry…'
"Haha~! I just realized that Sarry sounds like sorry in Basic."
'Ass Mo Deus.' The Sarlacc would've rolled her eyes if she had any.
