Late at night, Kota's phone pings with a message. It's Megumi, his energetic and somewhat mischievous junior. She shares her thrilling and chilling experiences from school, recounting horror moments that send shivers down Kota's spine.
"You won't believe what happened today! We thought we saw a nun's feet in the girl's cubicle. Seriously, it was like a scene from a horror movie!" (Megumi)
Kota, captivated by the story, can't help but feel a rush of excitement and fear.
As Megumi continues, her tales take a darker turn. She recounts a distressing incident where a classmate throws a pencil case at her nape, causing her to faint. Medical assistance has to be sought at the school clinic, leaving Kota with a mix of worry and empathy for Megumi.
"Yeah, it was like a ninja attack, but with a pencil case. I swear, I have the weirdest luck." (Megumi)

"Oh, look at these necklaces! I've been eyeing this one for ages. It's so pretty!" (Megumi)
Kota, intrigued, joins her in front of the display. The necklace, a delicate silver chain with a small pendant, sparkles under the store lights.
"It is nice. Do you want to get it?" (Kota)
Megumi hesitates, glancing at the price tag. Kota, noticing her hesitation, suggests:
"How about we go in and take a closer look? Maybe we can find a more affordable option." (Kota)
They enter the store, and Megumi excitedly explores the various necklaces on display. Kota, realizing her genuine interest, encourages her to choose one.
"This one! I love it!" (Megumi)
Kota, smiling, nods at the choice. Megumi purchases the necklace, her face beaming with joy.
Back in the mall's bustling corridors, Kota and Megumi continue their casual stroll, the newfound necklace adding an extra sparkle to Megumi's contagious energy.
However, an eye erupts within the spaces between the stalls. Akiko, who is with her brother, happens to be at the same mall. Spotting Kota with Megumi, she feels a twinge of suspicion. She discreetly watches them, wondering about the nature of their relationship. However, rather than jumping to conclusions, she decides to investigate further before confronting Kota.
After Megumi heads home, Akiko can't contain her curiosity. She confronts Kota, her eyes narrowing with a mix of concern and inquiry.
"So, care to explain what's going on with you and Megumi?" (Akiko)
Kota reassures her that their hangout is innocent and purely friendly.
"Nothing my Ai, he needs a brother" (Kota)
"Tsk!", as Akiko rolls her eyes.
Kota gets embarrassed and glooms about this, and bows his head.
"I'm sorry, I already notified you, pls don't be mad at me, he longs for a brother like me" (Kota)
Kota gets depressed with this and sits beside the sidewalk like a beggar.
Feeling bad by the situation, Akiko teases Kota.
"You know, while I was watching you and Megumi, I couldn't help but imagine what our future child would look like if we had one." (Akiko)
"Wait, really?" (Kota)
"Come on, I've been thinking a long time ago, whenever I see you too." (Akiko)
"Oh yeah? What do you suggest?" (Kota)
"How about, Kikota?" (Akiko)
"That's cute, a combination of our names" (Kota)
"Yeah, that's the real essence what's gonna COME in the future Tehe" (Akiko)
Kota, caught off guard, smiles at Akiko's playful banter.
"Hey, what if we go eat and we'll take a stroll at the dike?"
"Oh, Loving It!"
"Yep, that's the one"
Together, they decide to take a leisurely stroll along the dike, the moon casting a gentle glow on the waters.
"Such pristine waters, it's like love" (Kota)
"How watery it is, how strong the current is, a relationship is a give and take" (Akiko)
"The night is still young, and the town is alive with possibilities" (Kota)
