Chapter 252: Teaching and Arrival of the Ancestors

Hogwarts began operating normally, and Aiden was given the position of Defence professor.

One could only wonder what the young wizards below thought when they saw a professor who appeared the same age as themselves.

"Ahem, anyway, since everyone has different foundations, I need to understand everyone's abilities before class begins."

Aiden stood on books under his feet to reach above the podium. From the podium's style, it should have been chosen by that guy Godric.

Aiden silently clenched his fists, but having become a teacher, he still needed to restrain himself.

"So, for today's first lesson, there are no textbooks, no theory. Let's have a practical class."

Aiden tapped the podium with his finger, and the surrounding walls immediately folded away with magical precision.

The ceiling crumbled and gathered on the floor, and an arena appeared in the centre.

The young wizards' desks and chairs all melted away, and stone slabs formed steps to lift them up.

"Then, class begins!" Aiden said, his voice pleasant but very commanding.

The young wizards were led by a mischievous dragon through a bewildering lesson.

"How was the first class?" Lady Rowena asked, looking at Aiden, who was sprawled by the Black Lake.

"Hard to describe in words. Not to mention Muggle-born wizards, but why are even the young wizards from wizarding families so weak?" Aiden said, spreading his hands with obvious frustration.

"Then you'll have to work hard. The shadow of war is drawing ever closer," Rowena said, her expression grave.

"Also, why did I have to become the professor for this course? Wouldn't Godric be more suitable?" Aiden asked, holding his forehead.

"He received an invitation from the Wizards' Council and began researching matters of war," Rowena explained.

"Do we have a specific timeframe?" Aiden asked with a worried frown.

"Probably next year," Rowena answered grimly.

"Alright," Aiden nodded with resignation.

Due to the approaching war, Aiden had no choice but to intensify training for the young wizards.

The heavy coursework and aggressive practical training, combined with his previous reputation on the streets, earned Aiden the title of "Witch Professor" at the academy.

During this time, Aiden also brought in many magical creatures to dissect for the young wizards in class.

This let them understand these creatures' weaknesses while also helping them adapt to the future earlier.

In October, Godric returned from the Wizards' Council meeting, bringing bad news.

"The Wizards' Council will mobilise all their forces. This is a race war," Godric announced this bad news in the Great Hall.

"You mean they're going to send children to the battlefield?" Aiden asked with a concerned frown.

"Don't blame them. The Wizards' Council is just a representative body, and their decisions aren't mandatory, but the risks of war are truly shared by everyone," Helga said, offering consolation.

"Sigh," Lady Rowena let out a weary sigh.

"So other races will come attack Hogwarts later?" Salazar asked, stroking his chin thoughtfully.

"We need to further strengthen Hogwarts' defensive facilities," Godric said with determination.

"How about installing some guardian statues?" Aiden suggested.

"When not needed, they can serve as decorative items. When necessary, they can instantly become combat forces."

Aiden raised his wand, and fluorescent light formed a soldier-shaped statue in the air.

"Good idea," Godric said, immediately taking a liking to this statue.

Then, several people transported mud and sand from the bottom of the Black Lake and used alchemy to transform them into stone blocks.

Finally, they used magic to carve out rows of impressive statues.

Salazar waved his wand, and many grooves appeared on the castle's surface.

"You still retain control authority over the castle?" Aiden asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's not retention. Our family has always been the ley line guardians of this land. The castle simply recognises us and responds to our calls," Salazar explained.

"Inheritance in the bloodline?" Aiden murmured with growing understanding.

Salazar glanced at Aiden but said nothing.

Through the four giants' management, Hogwarts' reputation gradually spread throughout the land.

Then, on a dark and windy night, it attracted three special guests.

"Is this the academy that Lord Visionary spoke of for teaching wizards?" the leading man asked.

"Elvis, what about the organisation's secrecy requirements?" a woman behind him said, approaching with concern.

"Iris, you're being too rigid. I think His Lordship is very easy to talk to," the man walking at the back spoke.

"No, Sean, Iris is right. His Lordship did require not revealing the organisation to outsiders. It's indeed inappropriate for us to discuss this in public," Elvis said, nodding.

"Hey, we haven't seen His Lordship for three months. Maybe he's already..." Sean was about to speak carelessly.

The sky instantly gathered dark clouds, and a bolt of lightning fell from the sky, changing Sean's hairstyle into an explosion.

"Uh," Sean said, opening his mouth and exhaling a puff of black smoke.

The dragon hiding in Hogwarts put away his staff and whistled as he left with obvious satisfaction.

"See, I told you to respect His Lordship," Iris said, crossing her arms.

"Let's go. Let us see this so-called Hog..." Elvis was about to speak.

The three were enveloped by a sense of weightlessness, and they and their luggage all floated up.

Then they found themselves sitting at a conference table.

"Lord Visionary," came three voices in unison.

"Good day, three brave ones. It seems you've arrived at Hogwarts," Aiden said from the head of the table.

"Ah, truly worthy of the omnipotent Lord, we have indeed arrived," Sean spoke first with obvious awe.

Aiden smiled slightly at Sean. The three felt that the person under the hood seemed to be in a very good mood, and all breathed sighs of relief.

"Since you've arrived at Hogwarts, I'll arrange for my followers to teach you magic," Aiden spoke again.

"Are the organisation's benefits really this generous? We're truly grateful," Elvis said with obvious excitement.

"Then, Your Lordship, how should we contact your followers?" Iris enquired respectfully.

Aiden didn't speak, only extended his hand and tapped on the horns on his head.

Then, Aiden waved his hand, and everything before the three dissipated like dust.

"So what exactly did Lord Visionary mean?" Sean asked with obvious confusion.

"Since they're his followers, they'll naturally have similar characteristics to him. He's reminding us to look for people with horns," Elvis said, rolling his eyes.

"Let's go," Iris said, having already stepped onto the suspension bridge leading to Hogwarts.

Inside the main doors, Godric looked at the people before him with a strange gaze.

"So, you've come to study?" Godric asked.

"Yes," came three voices in unison.

"But you're too old. You don't look like young wizards," the straightforward Godric stated the heart-piercing truth.

"Because we weren't taught from childhood. Only after fighting our way to military achievements on the battlefield did we learn about wizards from the royal court and discover we ourselves are wizards," Iris explained.

"Show me some magic," Godric said, examining them.

Then the three each performed their own wizard tricks with varying degrees of skill.

"Hey, that's really strange. You're lucky you didn't become Obscurials. Alright then, follow me."

Godric waved his hand and brought the three into the castle.
