I smile proudly at myself as Alana and I walk back to my room, and she catches up with me.
"Master Elián… What are you up to? You're usually wary of the Alphas. But tonight you asked if you could spend all of tomorrow with Alpha Koda." She speaks, and I smile at the curiosity in her voice.
"I'm trying to think ahead," I reply, and her brows furrow.
I smile at her confusion and look away. I know that Alana has kind of become a safe space for me here. Having her around lessens the loneliness and makes it feel like I have an ally, but it would be ridiculously foolish of me to let my guard down with her 100%
Alana's loyalty is to the Alphas first before me.
In the real sense, I am disposable, and she'll have to serve whoever comes in after me.
