"Seriously you don't need to team up with these people.", sassed the voice in Poke's head.
Frustrating, Poke began glare at the wall. The voice in his head has begun to mock him greatly. The headache is the worst part, every time the voice talks it's like it's nothing but agony. Yeah it's been there since he was kid, always having his back specially in moments when he is weak.
"You poor baby, does my voice cause your wittle head head to hurt? Pathetic!", The voice mocked.
"Shut up", Poke thought.
The voice chuckled, "Or what are you going to get Sami to fight me. We both know that without him you don't stand a chance."
"Shut up, shut the fuck up", Poke screamed as punched the wall. His chest rose up and down rapidly due to the anger he felt throughout his body.
"Are you alright man", Sami said interrupting Poke's thoughts as he stepped into the light.
Poke quickly straightened up, taking deep breaths before turning around to face Sami. His normal small smile back on his face as usual.
"I'm just frustrated is all", Poke replied, placing a fake frown on his face. "With the school not doing anything to save Lyra I just feel useless.
Sami placed his hand on Poke's shoulder in a show of comradery. "We'll get her back, I promise."
"How do you think we'll go about that then?", Poke argued, slapping Sami's hand off his shoulder. "We don't have a plan besides fly around to ask about the cyclops homeland."
"Meh don't be so negative we just have faith also where is Kim?", Sami asked
"Sadly Kim said no to coming but her little sister offered to help us out", Poke replied.
"Can you guys not talk so loud some of us are trying to sleep", Onyx yawned from atop of Sami's head.
"You're familiar's almost as useless as you", Poke mocked.
Onyx glared at Poke. "Maybe if you stopped blaming people for your own inadequacies you might be able to win a fight with your illusion using bitch", she retorted.
"Why you, do you want to fight you cheap knock off bunny", Poke roared.
"Oh look at that big man threatening a bunny! I bet you feel all so strong now", Sassed Onyx.
"I'll destroy you!"Poke yelled.
"Enough!"Sami interrupted his voice. "We are all on edge with Lyra being missing let's just keep our heads calm and wait for Kim's sister"
"FINE, JUST KEEP HIM AWAY FROM ME!", they both shouted.
Sami just sweat dropped as he grabbed Onyx and began to slowly pet her. Trying to stop to calm her down.
Ten minutes passed when hurried footsteps could be heard down the hallway. Soon a girl Sami didn't recognize and Zoe appeared both slightly out of breath.
"Sorry for taking so long, I'm Angel", the girl gasped before straightening up. Looked like her sister except for shorter hair.
"Nice to meet you Angel", Sami replied with a smile on his face.
Poke crossed his arms with a frown on his face."Tch about time", he muttered.
"Haha yeah sorry I ran into Zoe and she said she wanted to give something to Sami.", Angel told them. Rubbing her hands nervously as she talked.
Zoe stepped towards Sami, her eyes full of worry. "I upgraded the gloves I gave you last time. Now they have a direct connection to mine and can transform to different forms.", She explained. Taking care not to give too much information away.
"Alright!"Sami cheered as he quickly removed the old pair of gloves.
He gave the old pair of gloves to Zoe before she stored them in her bag. Careful to not allow anyone to get a chance to look at them. Sami quickly put on the new pair, that felt firmer than the last pair of gloves.
Though they looked similar, the new pair of gloves had new padding along the knuckles to better protect from damage.

Sami wanted to discuss some things with Zoe but saw her shake her head at him. He thought it was weird she was being so secretive but overall realized it didn't matter since he can contact her at any time easily.
"Are you guys done gossiping or can we go ahead and leave yet?"Poke sassed. Crossing his arms as he looked at the group in front of him.
Sami looked at the small bookbag Angel had on her back, as she stood looking nervously at Poke. Honestly saving Lyra might be a lot harder, especially with this group of people working together.
"I guess we're as already as we can be", Sami sighed as he shook his head in disappointment.
"Already let's get going!", a loud voice cheered.
"Let's not be so loud in case people are close to overheard.", Sami scolded as he turned around.
"Surprise!"Anna shouted as she jumped on Sami.
Sami looked shocked as he caught Anna in midair. "Anna, how are you…. No no, what are you doing here?"
"Yeah I'm back bitches", Anna cheered as Sami sat her down on the ground.
"Oh god why is she back", Onyx muttered. As rubbed her paw against face.
Anna's eyes gleamed with excitement as she saw Onyx once again. "MY PRECIOUS BUNNY HOW I'VE MISSED YOU", She screamed lunging quickly grabbing Onyx off of Sami's head.
Zoe had a huge sweat drop come out of her head as she looked at the scene in front of her. "Should we do something to help?
"Truthfully it happens all the time.", Sami replied as he ignored the scene turning to face Zoe.
"Who is that lady?"She questioned.
"One of the teachers at the school um Anna", Sami answered.
"Wait that is the ANNA", Angel interrupted her voice raising past the small tone she's been using.
"Is Anna actually that famous?," Sami inquired as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Seriously! You don't know who Anna is?"Angel shot back as she got in Sami's face.
"If it helps, I have no idea who she is", Zoe added in as she glanced at Sami's panicked face.
Angel began to jump back and forth in place as her voice grew louder. "She literally single handedly helped save the capital! Along with Mercer who got the name for showing Mercer to the rebels that tried to take over the kingdom."
"Is Anna really that strong?", Sami mouthed to Zoe. In response she just shrugged at him, just as confused about the situation.
"Seriouslu you don't have any idea what her nickname was?", Angel questioned as she looked at the two of them.
"Shouldn't we be leaving instead of staying around gossiping about old legends", Poke sneered. He finally spoke up from the corner, annoyed that they hadn't left yet.
"Who did you just call old?"Anna argued as she held the struggling Onyx in her hands. "Call me old again little boy and I will fucking destory you!"
Before Anna could attack Poke, Sami quickly dragged her back. With Sami and Onyx both doing everything they could to soothe her temper.
Angel on the other hand looked excited as she looked upon Anna's face. She was practically glowing in the dark with how bright her face was.
"Alright enough", Sami demanded as Anna stopped struggling in his arms. "Poke just open the secret passage so we can get going please.
"Finally", Poke Muttered as he walked up to the wall they all gathered around at.
He knocked three times before pushing open the panel. Leading to a long dark hallway, a secret exit in case of a siege against the school. Poke hurriedly went through followed by Angel.
Anna squirmed out of Sami's arms as she skipped behind Angel. "Adventures we love adventures!"
Anna still held Onyx tightly to her body amongst, though Onyx was trying her best to squirm out of her hold. Sami watched as their backs disappeared in the dark.
"Sigh I didn't even want her to join us but she is really strong", Sami explained as he tried to convince himself it was okay that Anna is joining.
"She does seem pretty strong willed.", Zoe admitted as she turned to face Sami. "That's not who I'm worried about though."
"What are you worried about then?"
"Poke is who you should be careful around.", Zoe answered.
"Seriously?"Sami inquired.
"Yes, he has seemed off for the past couple weeks. Even the majority of his friends have backed off."
"Well yeah he was there when we got attacked by a group and watched Lyra get kidnapped. Hell the only reason why I'm not angry is because I've trained myself to go save her."
"You're missing the point", Zoe sighed. "It's not just about Lyra being kidnapped, he even tried getting me to make him a weapon like yours. Including asking for all the details of the gloves as well."
"Honestly you make great weapons", Sami shrugged. "Honestly I think you're just over thinking things. Maybe he overheard me asking Oracle questions on how it worked and went to you instead."
"Sami", Zoe whispered, her tone getting soft. "Just be careful around him please. I don't trust the guy at all. You and Lyra are my only friends left. I don't want to see you hurt because you gave your life for someone not worth it."
"Don't be like that Zoe", Sami cheered with a smile on his face. "I promise I'll save Lyra and all of us will come back!"
"I hope you're right.", Zoe muttered as she watched Sami leave. A deep feeling in her chest like something is seriously about to go wrong.
