The trio walked into the private room.
Alice's heartbeat sped up as she reviewed her thoughts. Could her going back in time somehow have changed her mother's fate? How is it possible that she's alive and well? She saw her in the coffin. She knew she did.
She looked at her in disbelief and tucked herself into the chair next to her. Caroline shot her a small smile.
"Alice, what do you want to eat? You can have anything you want."
"Oh no, I'm good. I'm not hungry."
"What do you mean you're not hungry? Your husband gave us his card to do as we please, and now you're saying you're not hungry? You can get anything you want."
"Husband? What's going on?"
"I got married," Alice smiled.
"You got married? When? To who? Do I know him?"
"Yes. You may know him. Travis Osborne. It's been a few months, but it's been the best few months of my life."
"Wait. That Travis Osborne? That CEO that was featured in Worbes or something?"
"Mom, it's Forbes," Naveena said between bites of her food.
