Chapter 5 - A SOUL'S BODY

Altar and Kaya had learned how to use the device and had already trapped five spirits. Meanwhile, hours had passed, and it was getting close to evening. Before heading to Alya, they decided to talk about the body situation.

Altar said, "Are we really going to do this? I still don't trust that girl. What if she's lying to us? What if all of this is just so she can return to her body?"

Although Kaya agreed with some of his doubts, he still wanted to trust her and help. He shared this with Altar, and they agreed to go ahead with helping her.

Before going to Alya, they went to Kaya's house to get the book, but they had to stop right in front of the door. Police cars were parked in front of the house. Kaya ran to his family in a panic, asking what had happened. His mother said they found a note in the house, and his room had been ransacked. She then read the note aloud. The note said: "If you don't want something bad to happen to you, leave this business alone and don't search for the book."

Kaya was stunned and couldn't gather himself for a couple of minutes. He kept thinking to himself: How did they know about the book? And most importantly, who did this, or who are they?

At that moment, his mother came in, asking what had happened and what book he was talking about. Kaya quickly thought about what he was going to say to both his mother and the police who would soon question him. He answered, "I bought a book recently, and someone took it from me. I said I'd track them down and find it. I guess they took me too seriously."

His mother seemed to believe him, but now the police were the ones to deal with. Kaya told them the same story. The police asked if anything had been taken from the house. They searched and found nothing missing except for the book. Kaya didn't mention anything about the contents of the book and went to the station for a statement.

Meanwhile, Altar waited in the car, expecting news from Kaya. Kaya texted him everything that had happened. Altar was told to go home and get the same book in the morning. When he began searching in the morning, there was no trace of the book. It was nowhere on the sites, and none of the bookstores had it. He informed Kaya, and they started searching every possible place, including bookstores, but they couldn't find it. Their only chance was to find the original copy.

They had no enemies, and no one came to mind who would be capable of this—except for the last two days. Of course, collecting the spirits wouldn't sit well with the others, but they thought the spirits couldn't touch anything in this world.

They went to Alya to confirm this. Alya explained the situation: "Unfortunately, as time passes, they are getting closer to their old forms. By the end of the week, they'll be living, breathing humans again. So, they definitely did this, and they're furious with you for collecting them."

As for the book, I can find it. Since you can't see them, continue collecting the spirits."

They followed her advice, and two hours later, Alya returned with the book and opened the page needed to return to her body. All Altar and Kaya had to do was say the words on that page. They agreed, and as they finished speaking the words, a light flashed, and a girl around 1.70 meters tall, with blonde hair and bright blue eyes in her twenties appeared. It was Alya. Kaya stood frozen, his mouth hanging open.

At that moment, a spark ignited in both their hearts.
