Chapter 103

The students took their pitcher, poured tea into their cups, and drank.

Professor Trelawney walked among the students, examining the results of their predictions in the cups.

Suddenly, she grabbed the cup of a student named Serisa, peering into it with great eagerness.

In her strange manner, Trelawney said, "You… you have a successful path ahead of you. You will become accomplished in your journey… continue doing as you are now." She placed the cup back on the table and smiled warmly at Serisa.

Minutes passed as Professor Trelawney explained the students' predictions, until she reached Hermione. She took Hermione's cup and began interpreting it deeply.

The surprising thing was that, unlike in the original story where she made a detailed prophecy about Harry's cup, here she completely skipped Harry, Ron, and other students like Seamus and Dolores Umbridge.

Trelawney took Hermione's cup, placed her finger inside, and closed her eyes.

Before opening them, she smiled widely and said:

Trelawney: "My dear Hermione, your fortune is truly wonderful. I see that you will be very happy in the end. You will marry a strong and handsome young man. But you will only reach this happiness after passing through hardships, sorrow, and even despair. I want you to be patient and never give up too quickly."

Hermione wasn't interested in such nonsense, as she was certain these predictions were lies. It was impossible to know the future.

But being young and inexperienced, Hermione didn't yet realize that one single prophecy from Professor Trelawney had already caused the death of the Dark Lord, the greatest Dark wizard in history—Voldemort.

Because of her refusal to believe in these "foolish prophecies," Hermione grew angry. She threw one of the white crystal balls used for predictions to the floor, letting it roll out of the classroom, then left, walking slowly up the stairs.

Yet this time, unlike in the original story where she stormed out furious, Hermione's gaze lingered on Albert as she left—perhaps she wanted to hear what Trelawney would say about him.

Professor Trelawney didn't take her outburst seriously. She only smiled and said, "Well then, only one cup remains. Let's see… Albert, show me your cup."

Albert felt nervous. This moment was very important to him.

He knew well that Professor Trelawney's prophecies were rarely wrong. Even when they seemed mistaken, it was only in minor details. For example, if she predicted Harry would fall and be injured, and it turned out he fell but wasn't hurt, the core of the prophecy was still true. Her errors were only superficial.

So, since she had been right about the prophecy concerning the Dark Lord's downfall at Harry's hand, Albert deeply trusted her predictions.

But what he heard next would shake his trust completely.

After taking Albert's cup, Trelawney placed her finger inside the coffee grounds and closed her eyes.

Moments later, overcome with fear and shock, she dropped the cup without realizing it, shattering it.

Trelawney: "Impossible… this… this is the strangest prophecy I've seen in my entire career. I haven't encountered such a bizarre vision in twenty years…"

Albert, alarmed by her reaction, grew more anxious.

Albert: "Professor, what's happening? What did you see?"

Trelawney calmed herself and began to speak quietly:

"Albert… your prophecy is something I cannot understand. It's the strangest case I've ever had. At first, it told me you will die before reaching the age of sixteen. But then, only moments later, your path shifted, and it said you will not die. Truly, I don't understand what is happening…"

Albert's anxiety grew after hearing this, and so did the fear among the entire class. Every student felt a chill at Trelawney's words. Even Harry and Ron were frightened about what might happen to Albert.

But it didn't end there. Trelawney continued her prophecy:

"In the first vision, I saw you die before the age of sixteen, at the hands of a cold-hearted woman, a criminal, while you were saving others. But in the second part, the prophecy changed entirely, showing

me that you would still be alive!!"

To be continued …

( I know that most of you might feel the events are moving quickly, and that's completely understandable. But I want to tell you that once this third year is over, the pace will slow down a bit, and things will become more intriguing as we reach the events of Voldemort's return. So don't worry actually, I'm planning for this story to go beyond 500 chapters. )
