Although I had claimed that I wanted to relive Davina's carefree days, when all she cared for was drowning herself in the bodies of men, that didn't mean I wished for them to come at me one after another without pause.
I was on my way to visit my two dragons when I found Drake waiting for me in the hall. Judging by his posture, it seemed as though he had been standing there for quite some time.

So in the short time of my absence, he had climbed that high already? Barely a month, and he had broken through the walls that once caged him.
